Chapter 379 A Familiar Plane Landing (Second Update)

"Can you help her?" Skye hurriedly shoved the tablet in front of Salomon, as if she wanted to force the content on it into Salomon's eyes. "She's a really nice person. I've seen her profile. This news wasn't so good for Skye.

In the aisle, Skye found a seat and let out a long sigh. She led Salomon around, checking areas inaccessible to his men, but found nothing. "Are you sure there's some kind of demon on the plane?" Agent Coulson and two arcane mages rushed in, their reactions to Simmons's presence on the ground drastically different—Agent Coulson immediately ran to check on his teammate, while the two apprentices became alert, their magic ready to be unleashed.

"Simmons, are you alright?" Coulson asked anxiously.

"Sir, it's true! It's true!" Simmons stammered, her throat feeling like sandpaper, constantly being pricked by needles. She swallowed hard, forcing herself to finish. "Hannah doesn't have telekinesis!" she screamed. "There's someone else on the plane!"

Salomon burst into the laboratory with Skye. He nodded to the apprentices, indicating they had done a good job. They had immediately taken precautions upon discovering the situation and notified the Temple Deacons when encountering problems they couldn't solve. There were no Temple Deacons here; their only superior was Salomon, so they notified him immediately.

After a brief report from Agent Coulson and his apprentices, Salomon then dispelled the shimmering magic in his hands.

"What does he look like?"

"I don't know, he just vanished!" Simmons repeated, his eyes wide. "I didn't see anything clearly, he was a ghost!"

"That's good news. Our enemy is a bit less powerful than the devil..." Before Salomon could finish speaking, everyone felt the ground beneath their feet shake violently. Even Salomon had to hold onto the holographic projection table to avoid falling, especially Skye, who had been holding onto Simmons' arm the whole time he said the word "ghost."

The overhead lights went out, and the emergency power suddenly switched on, turning the laboratory a deep red. "The plane has lost power," Agent Coulson deduced. "We're about to crash."

"That's the trouble with spirits; they completely ignore collisions," Salomon spoke up, his voice carrying clearly to everyone's ears. "Everyone! Hold onto anything stable nearby, then cast spells to reduce fall damage, while also guarding against enemy attacks. I'll cast a spell on the plane, reducing its weight by half. Hmm, this scene feels familiar; this isn't the first time this plane has experienced something like this."

"You'd better come with me," Agent Coulson said, pointing to the row of folding seats in the cargo hold. "There are seatbelts there."

Melinda May thought this was the best news she had heard all day; the reduced weight of the aircraft meant she could land more smoothly during the emergency landing. Because the vertical takeoff and landing system had failed, and most of the emergency power was being supplied to Hannah Hudgens' cage, even the flight system's power wouldn't last long.

With the help of Agent Grand Ward, she has found a suitable landing spot.

Suddenly, she felt the plane lift up slightly, and at least half of the Airbus's mass disappeared. Melinda May abandoned her initial dive and opted for a smoother landing.

"With the aircraft's density remaining constant, only the buoyancy has changed." Even in this urgent situation, Simmons didn't forget to analyze how Salomon's magic worked.
