Chapter 490 I am the Nine-Headed Hydra

Chapter 490 I am the Hydra (Part Two) (First Update)

Tatiana was puzzled because today's training had stopped so abruptly. Ms. Tita had ushered them back to their dormitories during their afternoon tea break, like a shepherd driving sheep into a pen. The girl asked a more gentle-natured woman for the reason, but received a very unusual answer.

"Obey orders."

Sylvia didn't explain why, and before Tatiana could ask, she gently pushed her. Gentle, but undeniably firm, Tatiana had no choice but to take Vera's hand and walk back. Ekaterina, unusually, moved closer to her. Vera held her head high, biscuit crumbs still on her face, looking defiant. But Ekaterina ignored her; to her, Vera was merely Tatiana's little pet.

The girl stared at her face with eyes that were almost transparently blue. "I smelled blood. I saw the ladies go to the armory. The ladies have a mission. Someone is going to die!" Her calm tone concealed excitement as she defiantly asked Tatiana, "And you, Tatiana, do you dream of dying in battle?"

Once the girls had all returned to their dormitories, Tita immediately gathered all the androids except for Dinah. They assembled on the training field, donned power armor with the help of their robotic arms, and donned new energy backpacks and steel wings. They fastened their chainsaw swords and bolt-action rifles to their metal belts and received two grenades. Some androids also carried heavy bolt-action rifles; they would be the primary firepower assault troops. The androids' ranks were perfectly aligned and precise, and their heights were identical. As they donned their helmets, mission instructions automatically appeared on the screens in front of them.

Sevia unveiled the red silk she held, and Tita gripped the golden longsword forged by their master. All the sorority members knelt before the sword, swearing an oath to receive their master's blessing and fight to the death. After the ceremony, Tita began arranging for the androids to board assault transport ships and super-heavy nuclear-powered tanks, each three men tall. The vehicles were already fully loaded with ammunition, exuding the pleasant smell of steel and engine oil.

Twenty minutes later, the Sororate base was deserted. The girls were locked in their dormitories, whispering nervously. Some of the girls, who had experienced war, sensed something different in the air, especially the synchronized oaths of the androids. But having been trained, they were no longer as panicked as before. Ekaterina was eager to join the fight, and she wasn't the only girl with this thought.

As they watched the assault transport ships, spewing blue plasma beams, hurtle towards the rocky dome and disappear without a trace through the sparking circular gate, they couldn't help but let out excited screams. Meanwhile, the colossal Tanzanias, with their unimaginable mobility, long cannons, and massive tracks, silently vanished around the corner of the training ground.

Meanwhile, the intelligence command center temporarily set up by Stephanie began operations. She made calls one after another, issuing instructions based on the information on the screen, preparing for the war Salomon was about to wage. This war would take place in every corner of the world, and it was the first war in which the Immortal City would truly step into the limelight.

“You’ve been drinking,” Natasha Romanoff said, sniffing the scent of Salomon. Steve Rogers stared back at him reproachfully, as if condemning the young man who was underage. But Agent Romanoff’s motives were entirely different. “How much did you drink?” she said. “I want to know if you’re still sober; what we need to do is important.”

"It's just a bottle of whiskey," Salomon said casually. "And I know what you're up to."

Salomon handed him a tablet computer playing a video clip of Nick Fury being attacked on the streets of Washington, D.C., featuring the Winter Soldier. Steve Rogers watched it for a while. By the time he put the tablet down, Agent Romanoff and Salomon had already moved to the other side and started talking. Captain Rogers glanced at the white-haired girl standing in front of him. She had been standing there for a while—he had seen her at Agent Coulson's funeral. She was said to be a living, breathing robot created by Salomon, but he still couldn't figure out how this blindfolded girl could see the road ahead.

Captain Rogers awkwardly handed the tablet back. Diana politely accepted it and bowed slightly, leaving Captain Rogers somewhat flustered, as he had probably never encountered such a polite person in his life.

“You really do know everything,” Natasha Romanoff said with a smile. She looked quite relaxed; after all, she knew just how powerful her friend was—she was one of the few Avengers to have witnessed the power of Salomon's holy sword up close. “Mind telling me what happened?” she asked. “You knew about this years ago, didn't you?”

"A hundred steps ahead of others is madness, Natasha." Salomon tugged at his black tie. "I've warned Nick Fury about many things. He knows about my prophetic magic, but refuses to truly believe it, just like a annoying teenage boy."

"You've forgotten you're on the cusp of puberty!"

"You're making me feel like a gadfly, but I'm not Italian," Salomon told a nerdy joke, but only Agent Romanov understood its meaning. "I gave you a ticket," he said. "Are you planning to take this flight now?"

Agent Romanov simply smiled and did not reply.

"I want to know what's going on," she asked. "Who's hunting Nick Fury?"

"Captain Rogers' old friend." Salomon, now over six feet tall, patted Captain Rogers, who was shorter than him, making Steve Rogers marvel at the rapid growth spurt of teenagers. He had never experienced this period; his only growth spurt was during the Super Soldier Serum experiment. "When Captain America throws his powerful shield, all who oppose him will be defeated. If a duel breaks out, he will lead us into battle, and the free red, white, and blue will triumph over everything. When Captain America throws his powerful shield~"

Salomon started singing the theme song from an old TV series about Captain America, and before Steve Rogers could even feel embarrassed, Salomon uttered a name that sent chills down his spine.

"Ta-da! That's right, this old friend is Hydra!"

The sorcerer laughed heartily, like a gambler who had just won a round of cards. He had made numerous preparations for this; the android team was currently approaching various key S.H.I.E.L.D. bases and carriers, where they would seize a vast amount of technological reserves and wealth for him. This included Quinjet fighters and aircraft carriers, the construction technology of the Helicarrier, plasma thrusters and arc reactors from Stark Industries, further proclaiming him the biggest winner in this Hydra turnaround gamble.

Once he gets what he wants, he will become the largest head of Hydra.

He is the Hydra.

There's no way around it, the weekend's over, I have to keep working overtime.
