Song Chen continued to rampage across the battlefield when suddenly he felt his senses becoming blurred, as if something was interfering with his judgment.

But he didn't take it too seriously. The battlefield was full of psionic turbulence and spatial fluctuations, so it was normal for his senses to be disturbed.

Besides, the situation has now stabilized, and all he needs to do is continue killing and wipe out all these enemies.

An hour later, Song Chen stopped.

He stood at the highest point of the battlefield, with a large area that had just been cleared below him.

The enemy is still there, but they are no longer in formation.

Turik's fleet tore a large gap in the encirclement. Karen and Aoba led their men to push the remaining enemies outwards, while Iwato protected the survivors on the transport ship as they retreated.

The entire battlefield has tilted in favor of the Allied forces. Although the enemy is still resisting, their defeat is only a matter of time.

Song Chen glanced at the system panel; the kill count had returned to four trillion.

"Efficiency has indeed improved significantly."

After my strength increased, the speed at which I gained kill points more than doubled.

Those low-level enemies are like weeds in his hands. At this rate, once he clears out the remaining enemies, he should be able to reach around six trillion.

Just as he was about to continue his attack, the entire battlefield suddenly trembled.

His star core jerked violently, and the star source power within his body seemed to be suppressed by some force at the same time.

He looked up at the north side of the battlefield, where the starry sky was being distorted.

The space is like a crumpled piece of cloth, bulging outwards from the center in a huge arc.

The curved surface bulged larger and larger, until finally a bottomless rift tore open in the middle.

An enormous, indescribable silhouette emerged from the spatial rift.

It was a mother nest, about the size of the Blue Star.

When it emerged from the space jump, it swallowed up all the starlight around it.

The dark red carapace is covered with mountain-like wrinkles, and countless tentacles hang down from the bottom.

It was so big that it brought everyone on the battlefield to a standstill, and even the low-level creatures without intelligence were suppressed.

As soon as the mother nest appeared, it pressed down on Song Chen.

Song Chen's pupils contracted. He knew that the Blood Erosion Civilization had the ability to perform short-distance spatial jumps, but he did not expect that this mother nest would come directly for him.

This was definitely premeditated.

A violent and suffocating aura rose from the mother nest, and Song Chen's star source power was suppressed by that aura, making it difficult to circulate smoothly.

He looked up and saw a huge figure, hundreds of meters tall, stepping out of the mother nest.

The figure was covered in dark red bony armor, and behind it floated a huge, dark star core phantom that almost covered half of the starry sky—a ninth-order True Star Realm life form.

The colossal figure spoke, its voice like magma rolling up from the deepest part of the earth: "Little insect, you will surely die today."

Song Chen didn't reply. He gripped the Meteor Blade tightly, turned around, and ran.

He continuously activated his Void Shuttle ability, leaping across a range of thousands of kilometers.

The aura of the ninth rank was like a vast, all-encompassing net, pressing down on him from all directions.

But Song Chen is no longer the same eighth-tier player who could stand still and output damage. His Void Shuttle can be activated infinitely, and with the power of Star Origin, every jump is clean and efficient.

Although Clavisu's aura was terrifying, it was not enough to completely lock down his movements.

"Trying to run?" Clavisu sneered, raising a giant claw and making a feint towards Song Chen.

Five dark red claw-like winds stretched across thousands of kilometers, grabbing towards Song Chen.

Song Chen flashed around, four of the five claw strikes missed their mark, and the last one grazed past his back.

The Silver Armor shone with a layer of silver light, taking the full force of the attack.

Song Chen felt a tightness in his back, as if he had been pushed hundreds of kilometers away, and a metallic taste rose in his throat.

Clavisu's voice followed like a shadow: "You can't escape. When you killed my son, didn't you think about this day?"

Song Chen ignored him and continued to run away.

As he fled, his mind raced.

The mother nest is about the size of the Earth; it is a mobile war fortress in itself.

Clavisu is a ninth-tier opponent; there's no way I can beat him.

But just because you can't win doesn't mean you can't escape.

He has the ability to travel through the void. Although the spatial blockade is still in place, it is much weaker here than inside the Tian Shu.

He can travel thousands of kilometers at a time, and as long as he is not completely locked down by the other side, he has a chance to widen the distance.

But Kravisu clearly wasn't going to give him a chance.

The enormous mother nest appears cumbersome, yet with each movement it makes way for space itself.

It rolled towards Song Chen, while simultaneously spewing out countless dark red combat particles from its surface, spraying them towards Song Chen's location.

Song Chen had no choice but to use Thunder Prison to clear the area. Purple thunder dragons circled around him, turning the attacking combatants into ashes one by one, but many more were still falling.

"Wow, it can really run fast." Clavisu followed behind at a leisurely pace, occasionally raising its paw to unleash gusts of claw wind or releasing a few dark red energy chains.

Song Chen dodged while simultaneously launching a counterattack.

He cleaved several chains and then slashed at Clavisu with his blade.

But those attacks only made crisp sounds when they landed on Clavisu, without even penetrating his carapace.

The gap between the ninth and eighth ranks is too great. No matter how strong his Star-Splitting Slash is, it is still only at the peak of the Star Crown level. It is not enough to break through the defense of the True Star Realm.

Clavisu sneered, "Is that all you've got? My son would die at the hands of someone like you?"

Song Chen didn't say anything; he continued running and killing.

The low-level combat beings around him seemed endless. He burned one group with Thunder Prison while slashing away others with his sword.

The more enemies he has, the faster his kill count increases.

But he knew in his heart that this battle could not be dragged on any longer.

"I'll show you what despair is."

Clavisu raised his right arm, and the dark star core phantom behind him suddenly lit up, as if a real dark star was condensing in his palm.

Song Chen felt the surrounding space begin to tremble, and even his ability to travel through the void became sluggish. The power of this attack was more than ten times stronger than the claw winds from before.

"Die!" Clavisu pressed down with his palm.

A dark star fell.

Song Chen raised all the defenses of the Silver Glory Armor to the highest level, and then dashed diagonally downwards at full speed.

A dark star swept past him and exploded, its light bursting like a star above his head, the shockwave sending him flying.

His consciousness blurred briefly, and his chest felt as if it had been crushed by a mountain.

The surface of the Silver Armor darkened, but the sixth layer of the Eternal Body had already begun to operate.

The broken bones were reattached, and the damaged internal organs were quickly repaired.

Song Chen tumbled dozens of times in the vacuum before finally regaining his balance and spitting out a mouthful of blood.

"They're still alive?" Clavisu was somewhat surprised.

Song Chen looked up and laughed, "You and your good-for-nothing son are pretty much the same."
