The detective is dead, I did it.

Chapter 112 Deduction Review
After ending the game, the witch quickly left, her figure gradually disappearing from everyone's sight.
It seems that as long as she is not voted out or dies in the game, she is free to leave this realm.
Li Ang looked in the direction she disappeared, but had no intention of chasing after her.
The entire city of London is now completely surrounded, and even her guild master might not be able to escape unscathed, let alone a witch like her.
Just now, Li Ang used his ability to take a look and found that the other party was only a Sequence 7 ability user. It could be said that any armed detective on the scene could easily beat her to a pulp.
This is probably the real reason why the other side chose to end the game voluntarily.
If she slows down and the detectives present realize what's happening, her fate could be uncertain.
The remaining women all gathered around.
Elena was the first to rush to Li Ang, her golden twin ponytails flying high with her movements, her eyes sparkling with undisguised admiration, and her cheeks flushed slightly with excitement.
"That's amazing, Mr. Li Ang! You actually found the witch!"
She clenched her fists in front of her chest, leaning very close. "How did you do that? When did you start suspecting her? Did you know from the beginning that something was wrong with Emily?"
Elena asked several questions in quick succession, leaving Li Ang no time to answer.
Boudica was a step behind, slowly walking over from behind, one arm around the other, her brow still furrowed.
"Why not keep her here? She killed Bridget and the others, and you think you can just end the game so easily and get away with it?"
Boudica clenched her fists tightly beside her chest, her knuckles trembling slightly from the force, but she still did not choose to make a move.
Because she knew that even if she wanted to stop her, she might not have been able to. Since the other party was able to impersonate Emily to infiltrate the game and then easily end the game and leave after being exposed, it meant that she still had some cards up her sleeve.
Taking rash action could result in even more deaths.
"First, I'm not sure I can beat her," Li Ang said, holding up a finger. "Second, the entire city of London is surrounded; she can't escape."
"London is under siege?" Caltacia's voice came from the side. "Why?"
"Because you've all been dragged into this." Li Ang's gaze swept over everyone. "You're all detectives, from different sequences and branches, all of you dragged into this game by the president of the Witch's Guild."
"Although you are currently suffering from amnesia, I think it should only be temporary. Once you log out of the game, your memories should return."
Li Ang did not believe that this effect was permanent; if it were, then Rosalind's abilities would be far too terrifying.
"Oh dear, I'm a detective after all?" Shirley slapped her forehead, her golden eyes widening in realization. "I thought I was just an ordinary person!"
There was no doubt in her tone, but rather a hint of relief, as if she had always felt that something was missing and now she had finally found the answer.
She leaned closer to Li Ang and patted his shoulder with just the right amount of force. "No wonder I always felt like I should be able to fight."
So it wasn't just my imagination.
"Yes," Li Ang admitted.
"Am I really that good? What cases do I usually solve? Have I ever caught any big bad guys?"
She continued to ask, her eyes full of curiosity, like a child who had just received a new toy and couldn't wait to see what it could do.
"You're Sequence 6, Armed Detective. Your main responsibility is catching superhuman criminals and cultists." Li Ang tried hard to recall, "You'll remember the specific cases once your memory returns."
Shirley nodded vigorously. "Okay! I'll think about it right now!"
She turned and ran to the side, grabbed Elena's sleeve, and asked a series of questions. Elena was a little confused by her questions, but she still answered them seriously.
Even she herself was somewhat bewildered at this moment, wondering if she was really a detective.
No one paid attention to the conversation between the two, and instead focused their attention back on Li Ang.
"I see." Fibel's voice drifted from beside him, carrying a thoughtful calm. "No wonder—" She looked at Leon, "I have a question: how did you find the witch?"
"It was developed step by step. It started after Bridget's death."
"Was it that expression she had before she died?" Boudica asked quickly.
"No. That expression only shows that she saw someone she didn't expect, it doesn't tell you who that person is."
He paused for a moment, as if organizing his thoughts, going over the reasoning in his mind again.
Bridget wasn't stupid. If Emily showed up at her cell door late at night, even if Emily usually acted innocent, Bridget would definitely become suspicious, not to mention that they had almost never communicated.
Therefore, the safest way for Emily to get close to Bridget is to become someone else, someone Bridget wouldn't be wary of.
For example, Lilith. The person she's supposed to protect that night would naturally lower Bridget's guard. Or someone like Leon, the only detective in the game, with a nighttime operation badge; he could easily make up a reason to make Bridget lower her guard.
Emily only needs to change back to her original form after killing Bridget, and everything will be perfect.
"What really made me suspicious was the voting process," Li Ang explained simply, then continued, "It was only when you all started to suspect Lilith and Emily that I became suspicious."
"So you cast that vote." Faibel grasped the key point, her tone still calm, but her body leaned forward slightly, perfectly filling the void left by Sherry's departure.
"Yes." Li Ang admitted it very readily. "I voted for Emily. Not because I think she's a witch, but just because I wanted to see how she would react."
"And her reaction was normal, consistent with her usual personality. But being too normal is itself abnormal."
"At that time, I only had some doubts. What really made me decide was that three people died tonight, and Isabella's confirmation further narrowed down the possibilities."
Caltacia took a deep breath and then slowly exhaled. "Thank you. Thank you so much. I will always remember this kindness."
"Me too," Isabella followed, a little awkwardly, her eyes lowered, her voice softer than usual.
She wasn't the type to readily express gratitude, but since this man had saved her, she felt she should thank him, especially since they had had some unpleasant experiences together.
"I had my doubts about you at first, but I never expected... I'm sorry." After a moment's hesitation, Isabella sincerely apologized.
Li Ang waved his hand dismissively, indicating that he didn't take it to heart, after all, he had retaliated fiercely back then.
