Spring Breeze Twenty Years

Chapter 784 Conflict

Chapter 784 Conflict

Xiao Wei drove the car over, Xiao Liu had already walked to Huang's side, Xiao Wang arranged for the other party to get into the car and was walking towards the driver's seat, and another policeman was recording the situation in the restaurant.

Xiao Wei got out of the car and said to Song Laosan and the others, "Come on, get in the car."

At that moment, Song Laosan, who was lying on the ground, became agitated: "I'm not going. I'm not going, don't you understand? I'm not going!"

He suddenly stood up from the ground, shook off Huang's hand, and shoved Huang hard in the chest with both hands. Caught off guard, Huang fell backward and crashed into the Santana. As soon as he regained his balance, Song Laosan pounced on him: "Didn't you hear me say I wasn't going?"

He pushed Huang's chest a few more times, then suddenly lowered his head and slammed it into Huang's chest. He then took a few steps back, lay down on the ground, vomited a few times, and gasped for breath, saying, "I'm not going anywhere, I'm not going anywhere, damn it, whoever, whoever."

"Good job, third brother. Awesome!" someone shouted from the side, causing a burst of laughter.

Huang clutched his chest, large beads of sweat streaming down his forehead, leaning against the Santana and panting heavily.

Xiao Wei sensed something was wrong and went over to ask, "What's wrong? Chief Huang, what's wrong?"

Huang took a few deep breaths, clutching his chest, and said, "It's alright, I'll be fine after a while. I wasn't on guard. Let me sit for a bit."

Xiao Wei sensed something was wrong and reached out to support Huang Shuo, saying, "What's wrong? Where does it hurt? Let's go to the hospital."

Huang pushed Xiao Wei's hand away, shook his head and said, "No need, I'll be fine after a while. Let's take him back first, I'm alright."

Without saying a word, Xiao Wei helped Huang to the hospital, saying, "Come on, look at your face, it's all blue. Let's go get checked out first."

With a half-lift and half-carry, Xiao Wei got Huang into his car. Huang was too weak to stand or sit, so he had to lie down in the back seat. Xiao Wei went around to the front to drive, but unfortunately, Song Laosan was lying in the front of the car, with his partner squatting next to him.

Looking back, I saw that the road was completely blocked by onlookers, who were laughing and talking amongst themselves. And for some reason, a van had stopped in front of and behind me, blocking the way at an angle. If it weren't for the Santana, I could still move, but now I couldn't get anywhere.

"Whose car is this? Come and move it." Xiao Wei went over and patted the bread, shouting a few times, but no one responded: "Is anyone there?"

There was no other way, so they went to the front of the car again to deal with that Song Laosan.

"Get up, get up and lie down on the side." Xiao Wei bent down to pull him, but the man resisted: "What are you doing? Can't you see he's drunk?" He waved Xiao Wei's hand away.

Xiao Wei said, "So you think you're right just because you're drunk? You think you can smash things and fight but not do anything because you're drunk? Get up and move aside right now. Let me tell you, he just assaulted a police officer. If anything happens to Chief Huang, none of you will escape. Come and help." Xiao Wei got angry and yelled at the police officers watching from the side.

These two police officers were newly assigned at the beginning of the spring. They weren't veterans; they were vocational school graduates, somewhat frail, and easily flustered when faced with a situation, hesitant to take action. The restaurant owner walked over: "Trying to get away with this? Lift him up! What's wrong with Chief Huang?"

Xiao Wei said, "This Song Laosan hit me a few times, and I even banged my head against my chest."

Two men grabbed Song Laosan, one by his leg and the other by his shoulder, while the young policeman tugged at his clothes. The three of them lifted Song Laosan up and placed him on the roadside. But as soon as they put him down, Song Laosan started crawling back, yelling, "Why are you touching me? Why are you touching me? What did I do to deserve this? I was lying down perfectly fine!"

Xiao Wei grabbed him by the collar and pulled him down to sit. He took out handcuffs, handcuffed him behind his back, and said to the young policeman, "Come here and grab him." He ran to the car and glanced at Chief Huang. Chief Huang was lying on the back seat with his eyes closed, his face pale, and large beads of sweat rolling down his face.

As he started the SUV, Xiao Wei shouted outside, "Xiao Liu, don't leave! Cuff them and keep an eye on them. Don't let any of them escape. Let those guys go to the station first. Call a few more people over; I'll go to the hospital with Chief Huang."

Xiao Liu agreed, took out handcuffs, and started handcuffing the person with the two police officers, which led to another round of pushing, shoving, and cursing.

The car slowly started moving, squeezing through the crowd of onlookers, and then you could hear people talking in the crowd.

"What kind of car do the police drive? It looks pretty cool."

"Nice car, huh? These guys are loaded these days, each one greedy as they come. When they're broke, they find an excuse to pay a fine. Damn."

"We have to fight them. In this world, when people have no other options, they're always being controlled by others no matter what they do."

"What's wrong? Did you let them do it again?"

"No, Lao Yao and his gang got arrested for marking out territory in the market. These days, how can you make money without marking out territory? They weren't stealing or robbing, so what's the point of fighting? Do you think they have any chance of survival?"

Xiao Wei glanced at the man, then drove out of the crowd and headed straight for the Power Hospital.

"Xiao Hui, call your Electric Power Hospital. I'll bring Chief Huang over. He was attacked by a drunk guy while on duty earlier, and I feel something's not right. Um, I'm on Wenti Road, I'll be there soon." The nearest hospital is the Electric Power Hospital from here, so it's not like I came here on purpose.

When Xiaowei arrived at the hospital, everything was ready. Huang was lifted directly from the back seat onto the stretcher.

Huang gritted his teeth, raised his head, and said to Xiao Wei, "You don't need to stay with me. You go back and handle things."

Xiao Wei said, "Okay, okay, I'll take care of it. You lie down. Doctor, please."

The nurse pushed Huang Suo into the building, and the doctor asked Xiao Wei, "What exactly happened?"

Xiao Wei said, "That guy was drunk. He pushed Huang a few times with a lot of force, and even banged his head against Huang's chest. It was a pretty hard hit."

The doctor nodded and said, "Alright, leave it to me. You can go about your business." He strode into the building.

Xiao Wei wanted to go in, but then thought it wasn't right. He got in the car, turned around, and drove away. He took out his phone and called the station: "Chief Lu, there's been a bit of an accident with Chief Huang at the Power Hospital. Can you send someone over? I have to go back to the scene."

Lu said, "Okay, you go to the scene, I'll go to the hospital."

Xiao Wei drove back to the restaurant scene, where a large crowd had still gathered, creating a commotion. The injured people had gone to the hospital, while Song Laosan, handcuffed, sat on the roadside. Several of his companions, also handcuffed, stood beside him, arguing and cursing. Xiao Liu and the police officers stood between the two groups, while the restaurant owner squatted to the side, smoking.

"Unlock me right now! What right do you have to handcuff me?"

"Don't you know? You're drunk and disorderly in public, disrupting public order, and assaulting people."

"What trouble have I caused? I hit people, and they even hit me! Ugh, my head hurts, my stomach hurts, I need to go to the hospital. Let me tell you, if anything happens to me, you can't afford to take responsibility, I'll make you pay with your life."

"Yeah, even the police have to be reasonable. What kind of thing is fighting? This is going too far. Third brother, fight them." Xiao Wei happened to walk up to the person who spoke. He remembered this voice well; it had been making sarcastic remarks and inciting people all along.

He turned his head and glanced at him. He had a buzz cut, his vest was rolled up to reveal his belly, on which was tattooed a Maitreya Buddha. He was about 1.7 meters tall, white and chubby, and his face had a fierce look on it.
