At Sunshine Manor, Sunshine is conducting some dangerous experiment in the experimental cabin.

The door to the hut was tightly shut, and a crooked note was pasted on the door panel.

The word "Danger" was written in large red ink on it, along with a skull drawn on it. It looked like a child's drawing, but the aura it exuded made people afraid to approach.

Mirajane stood in the doorway, her long silver hair swaying gently in the evening breeze. She reached out to push the door open, but it was locked from the inside.

"Riyao, let me go in and take a look." She tilted her head, her tone slightly coquettish.

"No, no, it's too dangerous inside." Riyao's voice came from the crack in the door, sounding tense and anxious.

Mirajane pouted, but didn't insist. Her silver eyelashes drooped slightly, and a helpless smile appeared on her lips as she went to the guild.

A doll lay in the center of the hut.

It was an exquisite doll, about 1.7 meters tall, with a beautiful and resolute female face and neat short hair braided with fine silk threads.

There was a hole in the center of his chest, just big enough to fit a crystal ball.

Sunlight crouched beside the doll, holding the crystal ball he had retrieved from Deliora. A pale green light flowed inside the ball, like a trapped firefly.

He stroked his chin in thought, his golden eyelashes drooping slightly, his brows sometimes relaxing and sometimes furrowing.

Does this count as a resurrection? I don't think so.

Didn't absolute freezing turn life into ice? Now that it's turned back into life, there shouldn't be any problem, right?

It seems that the regenerated body of the Gates of Hell was not cursed either.

I'm so conflicted. Anxiety, could you please give me some hints?

If you disagree, give me some kind of prompt.

He held his breath and listened intently.

No movement~

Then let's take that as the default!

Riyao swiftly inserted the crystal ball into the hole in the doll's chest, fitting it perfectly the instant the ball was embedded.

Green light shone from the hollow, like the first tender sprout breaking through the soil in spring.

The light grew brighter and brighter, filling the entire small house and illuminating every corner.

Sunlight squinted as the light stung his eyes, but he did not retreat.

He thought of his love for Mirajane, and reached out his finger to gently touch a white daisy in the vase next to him.

Flower: You are noble! You are aloof!

Sunlight remained motionless, holding the touching posture, like a sculpture.

The daisy trembled slightly, but instead of withering, it bloomed even more brilliantly.

One minute, two minutes, five minutes...

No death hunt was triggered.

Riyao breathed a sigh of relief, but his brows were still not completely relaxed.

No, we need to observe further.

He continued to touch her, frantically recalling the moments he had spent with Mirajane.

Her gentle smile when we first met, her resolute gaze when we fought side by side, her sleeping face nestled against my chest when I woke up in the morning, and the way she poked her forehead when she was angry...

He chuckled as he thought about it.

The flowers bloomed more and more brightly on his fingertips, showing no sign of withering.

At that moment, the puppet made a sound.

First, her fingers twitched slightly, then her arm, and then her neck.

The doll slowly sat up, its wooden body creaking slightly, its movements stiff, as if it had just woken from a long slumber.

"What's wrong with me?"

The voice came from the doll's throat, clear yet tinged with confusion, like a mountain stream.

Riyao, still clutching the flower, tilted his head to look over, a slight smile playing on his lips.

"Hey, you did it! Congratulations on successfully regaining consciousness, Uru."

I would rather die than use the word "resurrection," and I absolutely refuse to acknowledge it.

Uru looked down at his wooden hands, examining them over and over again. He then touched his face, his fingertips brushing against the wood, a complex emotion flashing in his eyes.

Riyao put down the flowers, turned around, and explained, trying to keep his tone relaxed and casual.

"I'm a guildmate of Gray's, and now I'm practically his 'godfather.' I used a specially crafted crystal ball to collect your life energy, hoping to see if I could restore you. It seems that Absolute Freeze seals with life, and this result is reversible."

Uru tried to move his body, but it was still stiff, with creaking sounds coming from his joints, and he couldn't move flexibly.

She raised her arm, her fingers opening and closing slowly, like a rusty machine.

"Can't I restore my physical body?" she asked, her tone indifferent, as if asking about the weather. "But it doesn't matter anyway, I've used ice prosthetics before."

Riyao still held onto the flower, pinching the stem between his thumb and forefinger and casually shaking it.

"I hastily made this body, but I can get a better one later, then I won't have any problem dancing."

He paused, then added, "By the way, you can't use magic right now, since you don't have a source of magic power."

Uru tried it, closing her eyes to feel the flow of magic within her body, only to find a blank space, like a dried-up riverbed. She opened her eyes, waved her hand, and spoke calmly.

"It's a small matter; it's nice to see Gray and Leon."

She thought for a moment, tilted her head, and a subtle expression appeared on her wooden face. Although she couldn't make many facial movements, the light in her eyes clearly showed a hint of seriousness.

"How much longer can I live like this?"

Riyao held the flower and pondered for a moment, his golden eyelashes fluttering slightly as his gaze fell on the faintly glowing crystal ball on Uru's chest.

"Probably about twenty more years, but I don't know the exact number. The life energy that the crystal ball can recover is limited; once it's used up, it's gone, and I can't help people replenish their lifespan."

Uru nodded. Twenty years is enough.

She looked curiously at the flower that Riyao had been holding for so long, tilting her head slightly: "Why have you been holding that flower?"

The flower was still in Riyao's hand, its petals slightly wrinkled from being squeezed, but it was still blooming tenaciously.

Riyao sighed, loosened the flower stem, and put the flower back in the vase.

"Don't worry about it."

He stood up, dusted off his knees, and reached out his hand to Uru.

"Come on, I'll take you to see Gray."

He gave her a set of clothes to wear, a dark blue robe with exquisite embroidery on the collar and cuffs.

The sight of the puppet's body going out wasn't particularly shocking to the residents of Magnolia, since they'd seen all sorts of strange mages. But Uru still had a bit of shame and didn't want to go out naked and flaunt his body.

The two arrived at the guild entrance.

Riyao pushed open the door, looked at the chaotic scene inside, and scratched his head.

Chaos reigned in the guild hall. Members were staggering about, some chasing each other, some staring blankly at the mirror, and some speaking in other people's voices.

Levy stood in the center of the hall, holding a magic book in her hand, her glasses reflecting an eerie light, and she was chanting some kind of spell.

Uru walked in, his eyes searching through the crowd, and quickly locked onto a figure.

She walked over, opened her arms, and hugged the person from behind.

"Grey, you've grown up."

Gray, who was in his arms, turned his head, looking completely bewildered.

"Um, I'm Lucy."

Uru's hand froze in mid-air, his expression frozen.

Sunburst slapped his forehead, remembering that there was indeed such a scene in the original plot. He saw Levy had just broken the spell and was about to recite the final incantation, light already gathering in her hand.

Sunlight reacted swiftly, grabbing Mirajane's wrist with one hand and Uru's arm with the other, quickly retreating from the guild gate.

"Retreat! Retreat!"

Uru stumbled as he was pulled, his wooden body creaking. "What's wrong?"

Riyao offered no explanation, but simply pulled the two of them towards the door.

Uru's current state is not suitable for this kind of soul-swapping magic. His wooden body has no source of magic power, and there is a high possibility of something going wrong.

As for Mirajane, Sunrise doesn't want to spend the whole day facing an old man version of Mirajane.

Just thinking about that scene gives him goosebumps.

The moment I stepped out, a flash of light appeared inside, and white light spilled out from the crack in the door, illuminating the entire porch.

The three stood outside the door, with Riyao straining his ears to listen to what was happening inside.

After a period of chaos, the noise gradually subsided.

"It should be over now, let's go."

The three of them went back inside.

In the guild hall, a group of people looked at each other with different expressions: some were confused, some were terrified, some were angry, and some were bewildered.

Riyao looked at them, hands on his hips, and shouted, "Who's who? State your numbers!"

Lisana called out, but her voice had a cat-like tone, making the scene both bizarre and comical.

"I'm Happy!"

Harpy looked down at his paws, on the verge of tears, his voice filled with deep grievance.

"Brother-in-law, I don't want to be a kitten."

Makarov spoke, his voice loud and youthful, not at all like an old man, his short body brimming with surging magic.

"Wow! The magical power within me is immense!"

Natsu snapped at Makarov, using Makarov's aged voice, but paired with Natsu's irritable tone, creating a jarring incongruity.

"Natsu! Don't you dare misuse my magical power!"

Gray shuddered, hugged himself tightly, and screamed.

"Gray, stop right there! Don't move!"

Erza clutched the hem of her armor with both hands, her face as red as a tomato, and said awkwardly in Gray's voice.

"Oh, I'm so sorry."

Seeing this, Riyao's lips twitched, then he couldn't help but burst out laughing. Mirajane also covered his mouth and chuckled, his shoulders shaking.

Uru stood at the doorway, watching the group's commotion, a slow smile creeping onto his lips. Though his face was made of wood and couldn't express much emotion, the light in his eyes was gentle and nostalgic.

So this is Gray's guild. It's just as lively as Sunrise described.
