The Fairy Tail guild was as lively as ever, with people drinking and chatting in twos and threes.

Sunrise lay on the bar, idly fiddling with tarot cards. These tarot cards were recommended to Kana by Macao and Wakaba, serving as a medium for card magic.

Suddenly! The guild fell silent, as a figure appeared in the center of the guild hall. Sunlight covered Kana's eyes. This scene was still too early for Kana. Kana tried to pry his hands off.

The figure spoke up, "This is Fairy Tail, isn't it?"

Makarov then stepped forward, looked the other man straight in the eye, and said, "Yes, child, is there something you need?"

Gray raised his head and said, "I am Gray Fullbuster, and I want to join Fairy Tail."

"Every lost child is welcome here. Welcome to Fairy Tail, Gray."

The guild atmosphere became lively, it seems everyone welcomed the new member.

Gray's eyes were slightly red, and he looked like he was about to cry. What a harmonious scene.

Riyao, oblivious to romance, said, "Um, before that, could you perhaps put on some clothes?"

"Oh, when did your clothes fall off?"

Gray hurriedly picked up his clothes from the ground and put them back on, his face flushed. Everyone in the guild burst into laughter, but there was no mockery in their laughter.

Makarov gestured for Sunrise to receive him, displaying the demeanor of a chairman. Helpless, Sunrise took out a membership application form from under the bar and handed it to Gray, adjusting the stamp as needed.

"Grey, what color do you want? And where do you want it?"

"Let me think about it."

"Hey, is it meant to be covered up on your big ass?"

"How is that possible?!"

"Then why did you take your clothes off again?!"

"Ah! When?"

Kana's eyes were covered by Sunbeam again.

After a farcical and absurd turn of events, the formalities were successfully completed, and the guild crest of the fairy tail, an ice-blue color, was stamped on Gray's right chest.

Gray approached Makarov and said, "Guild Master! Please tell me how to remove the Absolute Freeze effect!"

Makarov pondered for a moment and said, "The only way to break the absolute freeze is to kill the person who used this spell."

Gray slumped to the ground in despair, like a salted fish that had lost its dreams.

"Young people, oh young people,"

Sunlight crouched down, extended a finger, and poked it unceremoniously into Gray's pale cheek, which was pale from extreme dejection. His fingertip even had a little bit of cold water on it.

"You look like a salted fish that was just bought from the market and left to bake in the sun for three days and three nights, so bad even flies wouldn't want to touch it. What, upon hearing the conditions for breaking the Absolute Freeze, has your glass heart, forged with ice magic, shattered into pieces, beyond repair?"

Gray stared blankly at the guild's rough wooden floor, as if a flower could bloom on it.

He didn't even have the strength to raise his hand to slap away Riyao's teasing and mockery.

Chairman Makarov's words were like a rusty, dull knife, repeatedly cutting into his heart.

"The only way to undo this is to kill the person who cast the spell."

These words echoed endlessly in Gray's mind, carrying a despairing resonance.

Absolute Freeze was a forbidden magic cast by his master, Uru, at the cost of his own body and life, in order to seal the undead demon Deliora.

Uru did not truly die; she transformed into an unyielding block of ice, forever trapped atop the northern snow-capped mountains. Gray's lifelong obsession was to find a way to break the absolute ice and turn Uru back into a human.

But now, harsh reality tells him that to break the ice, he must kill Uru with his own hands.

"What do you know..."

Gray's voice was terribly hoarse, as if his throat was filled with dried ice shards.

"That's Uru... that's the Uru who became like that to save me! If the price of breaking the spell is her complete death, then... what am I supposed to do?!"

Gray suddenly raised his head, his eyes bloodshot, filled with pain, self-blame, and endless confusion.

He stared intently at Riyao, as if trying to find a flaw in the face of this cynical man that could refute reality.

Makarov stood to the side, letting out a deep sigh; his small frame seemed particularly heavy at that moment.

He understood Gray's pain, but as the president, he couldn't weave hope with false lies. Some cruel truths are an inevitable part of growing up.

Riyao said casually, "What do I know? I know you're acting like a coward right now!"

Sunshine grabbed Gray by the collar and half-lifted him off the ground. "I don't know what Uru was after, but the way you're acting now is the ultimate insult to her sacrifice!"

"Shut up!" Gray was deeply stung by the words "coward" and "insult," and the negative emotions suppressed in his heart erupted instantly. He clasped his hands together abruptly, and an extremely cold magical power surged wildly from him.

"Ice-Make: Ice-Style Lancer!"

Dozens of incredibly sharp ice spears instantly solidified in mid-air, carrying a bone-chilling cold, and mercilessly shot towards the nearby Sunbeam.

Sunburst didn't dodge and took the damage head-on. The ice spear pierced through his body, blood flowed from his skin, and he collapsed to the ground, unable to get up.

Gray looked at Sunshine in horror and ran over in a panic. "Why didn't you dodge? You could have easily dodged it, right?"

Sunlight, trembling, reached out and touched Gray's face.

"Grey, you must carry on with my dream."

"No, you bastard, don't do this."

The main character dies! The story is complete! Hooray! ヽ(✿゚▽゚)ノ

Makarov couldn't stand it anymore, so he jumped off the bar and landed directly on Riyao.

"Stop playing around, Sunrise, you're almost scaring Gray to tears."

Gray couldn't understand why Makarov jumped onto the heavily injured Sunrise.

Riyao retracted his protruding tongue, blinked, patted his bottom, and stood up. Golden patterns covered his body, and his wounds visibly healed.

"Grandpa, I haven't had enough fun yet."

"Hahaha, that kid Riyao, he's always scaring the newbies."

The guild members burst into laughter, and this atmosphere inexplicably suppressed Gray's inner sadness.

Gray stared blankly, his eyes revealing a clear sense of stupidity.

Sunshine waved in front of Gray and said cheerfully, "Alright, stop sitting on the ground. Come on, I'll take you to the guild dormitory to pick out a room."

Gray's brain finally kicked in, and he jumped up and yelled, "You bastard, do you know how scary this is?!"

Riyao led the way with a smirk on his face, and Kana followed to watch the fun.

"Oh, Gray, you don't understand, this is... my special way of greeting people."

"Brother Riyao, the price is that your clothes are ruined."

"Bastard, bastard."

"Oh, right, your clothes fell off again."

"Ah, when?"

"Hahaha! Where did you learn this habit of taking off your clothes? It's an amazing skill! You can walk down the street and unconsciously strip naked. You should just be called 'Exhibitionist Gray' from now on!"

"Shut up! Hurry up and find me some clothes!"

Gray roared angrily, but his body honestly followed in Sunrise and Cana's footsteps.

The three of them walked towards the guild dormitory, chatting and laughing, in the afterglow of the setting sun.

After Sunshine's rough but direct "greeting," Gray's gloom was forcibly dispelled, and his originally tense nerves finally relaxed, allowing him to show the vitality and boisterousness befitting his age.
