Starting with SSS-rank talent, I contracted the Forbidden Ferocity.

Two hours later.

Temporary camp outside Blood Mist Mountain.

Shen Ye changed into a black combat uniform, and the wound on his chest had stopped bleeding and scabbed over.

The high-level healing fluid, combined with the support of the three beasts, allowed him to recover at a speed far exceeding that of ordinary people.

Gu Chen looked at him and asked:

"Are you really alright?"

Shen Ye said, "We can fight."

Xiao Jue, carrying his battle axe, grinned and said:

"As long as they can fight, that's fine."

"I've heard there are remnants of ancient beast souls in the Blackrock Altar. If that's true, don't try to take it from me."

Gu Chen said calmly, "Your contract slots are full."

Xiao Jue said, "If we can't form a contract, can't we at least have a fight?"

Gu Chen remained silent for a moment.

That makes sense.

Shen Ye took out the fused black stone key.

The key hovered in mid-air, releasing a black vortex.

Lu Qingshan stood to the side and said in a deep voice:

"Remember, signals cannot be transmitted from the altar."

"If you encounter something beyond your control, immediately crush this talisman."

He handed each of the three a blue talisman.

Whether it will get out is not guaranteed.

Xiao Jue looked at the talisman.

"That's a pretty tactful way of putting it."

Lu Qingshan said, "I'm afraid if I speak too bluntly, you won't dare to come in."

Xiao Jue smiled.

Gu Chen smiled as well.

Shen Ye put away the talisman and stepped into the vortex first.

After a brief period of weightlessness.

The three landed on a black ruin.

The sky was dark red.

The ground was covered with broken animal bones.

In the distance, a huge altar was half collapsed, with nine broken stone pillars standing around it.

Each stone pillar is engraved with ancient animal patterns.

A system notification appears.

Hidden Dungeon: Blackrock Altar.

[Task 1: Ignite the nine Beast Soul Pillars.]

[Mission Two: Defeat the Altar Guardian.]

[Task 3: Obtain the Altar Inheritance.]

[Special Note: Death within the instance does not guarantee resurrection.]

It is listed very clearly.

It was also very cold.

Xiao Jue looked at the distant Beast Soul Pillar, his eyes blazing with fighting spirit.

"Should we call directly?"

Gu Chen said, "Observe first."

He summoned the Mirror Nightmare Beast.

As the mirror rotates, the surrounding ruins are reflected in it.

Soon, a group of wandering black-armored beast souls appeared on the mirror.

【Black Armor Beast Soul】

[Level: Early Stage of Tier 3]

【Characteristics: Immune to ordinary physical attacks, vulnerable to mental, soul, and special fire attacks】

Xiao Jue frowned.

"A soul?"

Gu Chen looked at Shen Ye.

"Your hellfire counters them."

Shen Ye nodded.

"I'll clear the way."

Night Feather flew into the air.

The ghostly fire, like black lamplight, burned silently under the dark red sky.

The three of them headed towards the first Beast Soul Pillar.

Soon, the black-armored beast souls discovered them.

Dozens of beast souls rushed in at the same time.

Just as Xiao Jue was about to make a move, Shen Ye raised his hand.

"Night Feather".

The Thousand Blades of the Dark Phoenix fell.

The dark feather blade pierced through the beast soul's body, and the Netherfire directly ignited the soul core.

The black-armored beast souls let out silent screams as they disintegrated one by one.

[Slay the Black-Armored Beast Soul.]

[Gained Evolution Points: 80.]

[Slay the Black-Armored Beast Soul.]

[Gained Evolution Points: 80.]

Shen Ye's eyes flickered slightly.

The monsters here have quite a few evolutionary points.

In front of the first Beast Soul Pillar, there is a mid-stage Tier 3 Beast Soul Guardian.

It resembles a giant bear and is covered in bone armor.

Xiao Jue laughed loudly and charged out first.

The Mountain-Splitting Demon Ape erupted at the same time as him.

A human and an ape collide head-on with the soul of a giant bear.

Gu Chen's Mirror Nightmare Beast unfolded, its mirror reflecting the direction of the giant bear's attack.

Shen Ye then instructed Ye Yu to suppress the soul fire.

The three worked together for the first time, and it went surprisingly smoothly.

Xiao Jue was responsible for carrying it.

Gu Chen was in charge of disrupting the enemy.

Shen Ye was in charge of slaying the soul.

Ten minutes later, the giant bear beast spirit collapsed.

Shen Ye raised his hand and pressed it on the Beast Soul Pillar.

Injecting the Netherfire.

The beast patterns on the surface of the Beast Soul Pillar lit up.

The first pillar is lit.

boom!

A low, rumbling vibration came from the direction of the altar.

An ancient aura awakens.

A system notification appears.

[Beast Soul Pillar Ignites: 1/9.]

[Reward: 1 Ancient Beast Soul Fragment]

Xiao Jue's eyes lit up.

"This fragment can enhance the fighting spirit of beast tamers."

Shen Ye tossed the broken pieces to him.

Xiao Jue was taken aback.

"Give me?"

Shen Ye said, "You are more suitable."

Xiao Jue caught it and remained silent for a moment.

"Consider it a debt I owe you."

Gu Chen smiled and said, "The sun is out."

Xiao Jue glared at him.

Shen Ye ignored them.

He looked toward the second Beast Soul Pillar.

There, the black fog was even thicker.

Moreover, there was a familiar blood-red aura.

Bloodstained Tower.

Gu Chen noticed it too.

"Did someone get in before us?"

Shen Ye's eyes turned cold.

"Not surprising."

"The fact that Bloodface dared to escape means he still has a backup plan."

Xiao Jue gripped his battle axe tightly.

"Then what are we waiting for?"

Shen Ye stepped forward.

"Charge them!"
