"President Lin, congratulations on your promotion to general manager," Jiang Rong said politely.

She wore a pair of gold-rimmed glasses today, looking very refined.

"Thank you. What can I do for you, Manager Jiang?"

Lin Qingya recalled what happened last night, and couldn't help but feel uneasy.

"I just remembered something. You came to my office last night and it seems you brought a document with you."

Jiang Rong was blacked out last night by Ye Kai's soul-capturing technique, and she can't remember many things.

But she remembered Lin Qingya had been to her office, though she couldn't recall exactly what they had done. Today, at the meeting, she saw Lin Qingya's appointment letter, stamped with the group's official seal, but she couldn't remember when that seal had been affixed.

She pieced together several things and came to a terrible conclusion: Lin Qingya had come to her office last night with the appointment letter and had her stamp it.

In other words, President Su had no idea about this matter, and perhaps the appointment letter was forged.

Jiang Rong felt a chill run down her spine. If that were true, President Su would definitely fire her when he returned.

Jiang Rong was on pins and needles in the conference room. Finally, when the meeting ended, she rushed to Lin Qingya's office to find out what was going on.

Jiang Rong sneered, "I'd like to remind you that there are security cameras outside my office. If I pull up the video, I'll know you've been to my office."

"What are you, a general manager, doing bringing a bodyguard to my office so late at night? I think anyone with eyes can see the answer, right?"

Lin Qingya also got angry, "Are you threatening me?"

"No, how could I dare threaten you? I also have to think about myself. If President Su comes back and finds out that I took it upon myself to stamp the appointment letter, I'll be fired."

"Isn't this inappropriate?"

Lin Qingya said without room for argument, "This is an order, you must obey!"

Ye Kai looked at Jiang Rong and said helplessly, "Manager Jiang, this is President Lin's order. I really have no choice but to cooperate."

Jiang Rong's eyes widened. "I'm warning you, don't do anything reckless, I'll call the police, and your life will be ruined!"

"There's nothing I can do about it. Ms. Lin is my boss, and I have to carry out her orders!"

Ye Kai pushed Jiang Rong down onto the bed. Jiang Rong hugged her chest tightly with both hands and intertwined her legs, taking precautions.
