William answered honestly, "I joined."

When Ye Kai thought he had learned enough, he used the Soul-Seizing Technique. Two beams of white light shot from his eyes into Bruce's eyes, taking control of Bruce's brain.

Ye Kai began by asking, "Bruce, are you with the Shadow?"

"Yes."

"What's your level?"

"Level 7 guard."

When did you join Shadow?

"I have no idea."

This answer surprised Ye Kai somewhat. "Didn't you just say he went to the United States?"

"I was just saying it casually to appease William."
