A flash of white light, and the men in black guarding the girls were burned to ashes.

Dozens of men in black came up the stairs, and a flash of white light instantly burned them all to ashes.

Ye Kai saw several cars parked outside the villa from upstairs, and there must be people inside. Ye Kai decided to turn the tables on them.

He came to a man in black whose throat had been pierced by the One-Finger Divine Skill, and made a human skin mask in the jade gourd based on the man's appearance, then put it on and changed into the man's black clothes.

Joseph was stunned. Ye Kai had transformed into a man in black in the blink of an eye; he was shocked.

"How did you do that?"

"Enough talk, Joseph, do you want to save your wife?"

Joseph knelt on the ground and kowtowed, "Of course I want to! Please, save my wife!"

"Who are those people outside?"

"Archbishop's deputy, Wood."

"What level?"

"Level 17 Crusader".

Ye Kai instructed, "When we go out later, tell the people outside that you've killed me, and have them drive to St. George's Cathedral, understand?"

"clear."

"Okay, let's go out."

Ye Kai led Joseph out and into a Rolls-Royce. Inside sat an elderly man, Wood, the general coordinator of the event, along with a driver.

Wood asked, "Why are there only the two of you? Where are the others?"

Joseph replied, "They're all dead."

"Where's that kid?"

"He's dead too."

Wood sighed. "That's a huge loss. Is this kid really that good at fighting?"

"Yes, he killed all of our men."

Wood asked in bewilderment, "Didn't this kid just sleep with Isabella? How does he still have such strong fighting ability?"

"Yes, his fighting ability is indeed very strong. Didn't you see it last night? He sent Taisen flying with just one punch!"

Wood clicked his tongue in amazement. "Isabella is said to be extremely powerful, and most men can't even catch her eye. This kid had a one-night stand with Isabella, and he can still fight!"

Joseph echoed Wood's words, "Yeah, this kid is really too strong, he's practically inhuman!"

"What a superman! This kid's got real talent, it's a shame we can't use him!"

Wood suddenly became curious, "How did he die?"

"He was shot more than a dozen times, but he stood up like a god of war. He strangled several of us before he finally fell. Luckily, we reacted quickly and shot him a few more times before we finally took him down."

Joseph remained unfazed, speaking with such conviction that it seemed like the truth. Ye Kai couldn't help but admire him; after all, he was the principal of a prestigious university, even his lying was so skillful.

"I really want to go up and see if this kid has three heads and six arms, how can he be so powerful?"

Wood's words surprised Joseph. If Wood went up and couldn't find Ye Kai's body, then the secret would be exposed.

Joseph remained calm despite his panic, saying, "You'd better not go see it; even if you did, you wouldn't recognize it."

"What's wrong?"

"His face was smashed to pieces, and his whole body was covered in blood and gore. It was a horrific sight. You would be so disgusted by it that you wouldn't be able to eat."

"Oh, I see. Never mind then, it's fine not to watch it."

Wood looked at Ye Kai and asked, "Tom, how are you?"

Ye Kai coughed twice. He was prepared to kill Wood if Wood discovered that he was an imposter.

Joseph said shrewdly, "Tom got a scratch on the throat from that kid and can't talk."

"Oh, is it serious?"

"It's not a big problem, let's go back and give him an injection."

Wood nodded. "Okay, let's go back."

The driver started the car, and Ye Kai breathed a sigh of relief, secretly admiring Joseph's agility and quick reflexes; he was truly a talent.

Forty minutes later, the car arrived at the entrance of St. George's Cathedral. The gate opened automatically, and the car drove in and parked in the courtyard.

The three of them got out of the car and walked into the church.

Ye Kai dispatched one hundred robots to quickly infiltrate the church and begin operations.

The three walked down a long corridor and came to a door. Wood knocked on the door and heard someone inside say "Come in." Wood pushed the door open and went in.

An elderly man was sitting behind a large desk; he was Archbishop Stendhal of Shadow.

Seeing Wood enter, Stendhal stood up and asked, "Is the matter settled?"

Wood nodded. "All done?"

"That kid's dead?"

"He's dead."

Stendhal was skeptical. "You saw it with your own eyes?"

"Joseph and Tom killed the kid."

Stendhal looked at Joseph and Ye Kai, "Is that right?"

Joseph quickly replied, "Yes, Archbishop, Tom and I shot and killed him."

"Good, great! You two have done a great job and helped me get rid of this thorn in my side!"

This guy has destroyed all our organizations across the country. If he keeps going like this, he'll wipe out the Shadow faction!

Stendhal pumped his fist in frustration. "Why didn't you bring his body here?"

"Reporting to the Archbishop, he has been shot dozens of times, his body is covered in blood and gore, his face is smashed up, he looks so disgusting, you would not be able to eat if you saw him."

Joseph repeated it again.

Stendhal clapped his hands in delight. "Good, well done! That kid deserves to die!"

Joseph asked cautiously, "Archbishop, where is my wife?"

"I'll have someone bring her over right away."

Stendhal made a phone call, and a few minutes later, a priest arrived with Ivka. Ivka rushed to Joseph, and the two embraced tightly.

"Ivka, are you alright?"

Joseph checked Ifka for any injuries.

"I'm fine, Joseph, let's go back."

"Okay, let's go home."

The two tried to leave but were stopped by two men in black at the door. Joseph turned around and questioned Stendhal.

"Archbishop, didn't you say I could go back?"

Stendhal smiled slyly. "Did I say that? Who can prove it to you?"

Joseph then turned to Wood, "Wood, he said that, didn't he? He said he would release my wife if I helped him get rid of that Ye guy."

Wood shook his head indifferently. "I don't know."

Joseph angrily shouted, "You bunch of liars! You call yourselves archbishops and knights of the cross, but you don't keep your word! You're all scoundrels and big liars!"

Stendhal waved his hand, "Don't let him bark like a mad dog, kill him!"

Two men in black stepped forward to grab Joseph, but suddenly slipped and fell to their knees with a thud.

Stendhal asked in surprise, "What's wrong with you all? Get up quickly!"

The two men in black remained motionless, as if glued to the spot.

"Damn it, you're all useless! Someone come here!"

Stendhal called out from outside, but no one came in.

He ordered Wood, "Wood, go out and see what's going on, and call someone in!"

Wood reached the doorway, but then turned and retreated back to Stendhal, who was even more astonished.

"Wood, what's wrong with you? Why aren't you listening to me?"

Wood knelt down with a thud, without saying a word.

By this time, the robots had cleared out all the Shadow personnel in the church, stormed the Archbishop's office, and taken control of the Black-Clad Man and Wood.

Stendhal, bewildered and finding the situation extremely strange, turned to Ye Kai with no one else of his options. "You killed Joseph, I'll promote you!"
