Long sword, short sword, steel spikes—five weapons pierced the crack almost simultaneously.

With a series of crisp clanging sounds, the tip of the bearded man's knife did indeed cut into the flesh, but it only penetrated less than an inch before being firmly clamped by the muscles inside the Spider King's body.

He gritted his teeth and tried to push it in another half inch, but found that no matter how hard he tried, it wouldn't budge.

The other four hunters fared much better; the blades only grazed the surface tissue, and not a single drop of dark green fluid came out.

"Damn it, we can't break through!"

The bearded man suddenly drew his knife, took two quick steps back to avoid the Spider King's tail swipe, and was panting heavily.

"It's all muscle inside; we don't have enough strength!"

Before he could finish speaking, the Spider King was already enraged.

Although it lost a front leg, the destructive power of its seven legs is still terrifying.

A healthy hind leg swept across suddenly, and a middle-aged hunter closest to its side was unable to dodge in time and was struck squarely in the chest by the leg blade.

The man didn't even let out a scream before he was sent flying like a kite with a broken string, crashing heavily into the shelf. When he slid down, a large section of his chest had caved in, blood and foam were gushing from his mouth, and his eyes were rapidly losing focus.

died.

"Old Guo!"

The bearded man's eyes instantly reddened, but the battlefield gave him no time to mourn.

After the Spider King finished spinning around, it readjusted its seven legs and charged towards the crowd once more.

Lin Yun's heart sank, but he dared not stop.

He approached the Spider King from the side again, trying to draw its attention back to him with a punch.

As expected, the Spider King turned and pounced on him, its intact front leg piercing straight into his chest with a whooshing sound.

Lin Yun dodged to the side with all his might, but the force of the front leg was too strong. Although the leg blade did not hit his center, it grazed the outside of his left arm, tearing the sleeve open with a hiss and leaving a two-inch-long, deep gash on his arm that exposed the bone.

Blood gushed out instantly, flowing down his arm and onto the ground, causing Lin Yun's temple veins to throb with pain.

He staggered back a few steps, shook his numb and aching left arm, and knew he couldn't delay any longer.

If this drags on any longer, the bleeding will kill him.

The old wound was indeed the Spider King's fatal weakness, but the strength of five late-stage martial arts hunters was insufficient to penetrate that layer of flesh; only he could do it.

But he's been constantly chased around the field by the Spider King, and has no chance to get close to his old wound to gather his strength.

He took a deep breath, dodging the Spider King's next attack while shouting towards the bearded man, "You guys hold it off, I'll take care of the rest!"

The bearded man suddenly looked up, glanced at Lin Yun, and immediately understood what he meant.

He glanced at the bloody wound on Lin Yun's left arm, gritted his teeth, and roared at the three remaining hunters beside him, "Hold this beast in place with all your might!"

The four immediately changed tactics.

They abandoned attacking the old wounds and instead dispersed in four directions, simultaneously slashing with knives, ramming with their bodies, and using every means possible to attack the spider king's leg joints and flanks.

The goal is not to break through the defenses, but to shatter the Spider King's focus, preventing it from concentrating on attacking any direction.

The Spider King was extremely annoyed by this tactic of being attacked from all sides.

Just as it turned its head to deal with the hunter on its left, a knife on its right slashed at its hind leg joint; it swung its tail to sweep away the man on its right, but another man pounced on it from its left front; it tried to turn around and chase the most annoying bearded man on its side, but its hind legs were held tightly by another hunter.

Four hunters at the late stage of martial arts mastery used all their strength to pin a second-tier spider king firmly to the spot.

Lin Yun seized this opportunity.

He first retreated several steps away from the Spider King to create distance, then suddenly turned around, unleashed his full power with the Wind Step, and slammed his Wind Boots against the ground, shooting towards the Spider King's carapace like an arrow.

He stepped on the Spider King's hind leg joints, using the force to leap into the air, twisting half a circle in mid-air before landing steadily on the Spider King's broad carapace.

The Spider King sensed the threat on its back and let out a furious hiss. Its massive body trembled violently, and its seven legs kicked wildly like a noose out of control.

The carapace shook violently, and Lin Yun knelt on one knee on it, his left hand gripping the edge of the carapace tightly to barely keep his balance.

But the Spider King was shaking so violently that he couldn't free his right hand to aim.

Just then, the bearded man pounced from the side, grabbing the Spider King's only intact front leg with both hands and pressing it down with all his weight and strength, pinning the leg firmly to the ground.

With its forelegs fixed in place, the Spider King instantly lost its balance, and the frantic jolts subsided for a moment.

A mouthful of blood gushed from the bearded man's mouth.

As he lunged forward, the Spider King's other hind leg blade pierced his right abdomen, with half a bloody blade tip protruding from his back.

But he gritted his teeth and didn't let go, his veins bulging, and roared hoarsely, "Brother Lin, hurry!"

Lin Yun did not hesitate.

He gripped the broken blade in his right hand, channeling all his energy into his right arm. The power of his Vajra Fist was layered on the tip of the broken blade, and he plunged it into the old wound that Blackie had previously inflicted, where the grayish-white soft tissue was exposed from the broken carapace.

The broken blade sank into the old wound, pierced through the muscle layer, and got stuck on a hard object, probably a bone or cartilage deep inside the Spider King's body.

The Spider King let out a sharp hiss, and its body trembled violently.

Lin Yun did not stop.

He pressed down on the back of the broken blade with his left hand, clenched his right fist, aimed at the hilt of the broken blade, and slammed it down hard.

thump.

With a muffled thud, the broken blade pushed in half an inch deeper.

thump.

The second punch.

The broken blade advanced another half inch, and more dark green fluid gushed from the edge of the blade, mixed with small, dark red tissue fragments.

Boom!Boom!Boom!

Lin Yun pounded on the knife handle with his fist, like hammering nails.

The broken hilt of the knife hurt his finger bones, and the alloy scales of his gauntlets were dented, but he paid no attention to it. Only a cold anger surged in his chest.

With each punch, the broken blade penetrated deeper.

The spider king's hiss grew increasingly shrill, its body twisting wildly, but its front legs were firmly pinned down by the beard, and Lin Yun on its back was like a nail driven into its body; it could not shake him off no matter what it did.

The third punch.

The fourth punch.

The fifth punch.

The broken blade was completely embedded in the Spider King's body, with only the hilt still sticking out.

The blade had pierced through the hard skeletal membrane inside the Spider King's body and was deeply embedded between its internal organs deep in its chest cavity. Dark green fluid gushed out of the wound like a spring.

The Spider King's body stiffened for a moment, all seven legs tensing up simultaneously, before it went completely limp as if all its strength had been drained away.

With a deafening roar, the massive body slammed heavily onto the ground, kicking up a cloud of dust.

It's not dead yet.

The light in its eight compound eyes was still flickering faintly, and its seven legs were still twitching and kicking unconsciously, but it could no longer stand up. Its huge body lay slumped among the dust and insect corpses, with only the last rise and fall of its chest remaining.

Lin Yun slid off the Spider King's back, knelt on one knee, and gasped for breath. Blood was still seeping from the wound on his left arm, and the knuckles of his right fist ached as if they were about to split open.

He looked up in the direction of the bushy beard.

The bearded man remained in the same position, clinging to the Spider King's front legs, kneeling on the ground with his body slightly leaning forward, as if he had used up his last bit of strength.

His eyes were not closed, and there was a very faint smile on his lips.

However, the wound that pierced through his right abdomen had stopped bleeding.

His chest did not rise or fall at all.

Lin Yun looked at him, feeling as if something was stuck in her throat, unable to utter a single word.

Behind me came the Spider King's faint, intermittent struggles. The old, gaping wound was still oozing dark green fluid mixed with dark red fragments of organs.

Lin Yun slowly stood up, turned around, and walked to the head of the Spider King.

He looked down at the second-tier beast that was still barely clinging to life, watching the light in its compound eyes gradually fade. Suddenly, he raised his right fist and punched down at the old wound on its severed leg, which had been ripped apart by the broken blade.

No sound.

The fist sank into the flesh, shattering the already defenseless soft tissue, breaking through the last thin layer of bone septum, and smashing into the core of its already stopped beating organ.

The second punch.

The third punch.

The fourth punch.

Lin Yun didn't know how many punches he threw, only that each punch was heavier and more ruthless than the last, until his right hand could no longer be raised, until the Spider King's proud head completely collapsed, the light in all eight compound eyes went out, and there was no longer any trace of life under its cold carapace.

The second-tier Shadow Spider King is utterly dead!

Lin Yun withdrew his hand, stood there, head down, his rapid breathing particularly clear in the empty hall.

He was covered in blood—his own, the bearded man's, Lao Guo's, and Spider King's, all mixed together, making it impossible to tell whose was whose.
