Sheriff Uncle, open the door quickly! I've come to solve a case!

Qin Qingzhou didn't say anything more, and turned to look outside the restaurant. Fortunately, the restaurant next door also had surveillance cameras.

Currently, he only needs to determine whether the two missing persons were present that day.

After Qin Qingzhou left the restaurant, the security guard's face darkened, and he angrily shouted at the waiter next to him, "From now on, no suspicious person is allowed to enter!"

"yes!"

Fortunately, the shop owner across the street was quite cooperative. As soon as Qin Qingzhou heard that he wanted to investigate the shop across the street, he immediately gave him the surveillance footage at the entrance.

"That restaurant across the street is really strange. I heard that only rich people can eat there. I tried to say hello before, but I was turned away at the door."

"Officer, what happened over there? Could it be that one of their customers is involved in something? Can you tell me? I promise I won't tell anyone."

"I knew it all along. Shops that only cater to the powerful and wealthy are bound to run into trouble. Those powerful and wealthy people are all very corrupt in private."

The shop owner kept rambling on and on, while Qin Qingzhou carefully watched the surveillance footage and occasionally struck up a conversation with him.

"Among their guests, there's one named Mimi and another named Du Yimeng. Do you know them?"

"I know her, isn't she that female celebrity?" The boss usually kept an eye on the other side of the street from the doorway, so he actually recognized her.

"They're also customers of this restaurant. I used to see them come here to eat all the time, but they haven't been here lately."

"The people who have come recently... Oh right, our city's mayor came recently, and he's been here for several days in a row! I didn't dare to go up and say hello."

mayor?

"Why would the mayor come here..." Qin Qingzhou murmured, a bad premonition suddenly flooding his mind.

"Wow! Not only that, the mayor also brought his son along. They've been coming so frequently these past few days, as if the food inside is incredibly delicious. They come to eat here every day, at every meal."

The owner himself was curious and wanted to go inside the store to find out more.

But the boss didn't know anything more, since he was just looking at the door and didn't see anything else.

Qin Qingzhou also saw in the surveillance footage that the two missing persons did not come to the restaurant on the day of the incident.

After leaving the area and getting into the car, Qin Qingzhou fell into deep thought.

Since the two of them did not disappear in this restaurant, it means they disappeared somewhere else.

His superiors wouldn't let him investigate the restaurant, so he decided to investigate the whereabouts of the two female celebrities instead.

With that thought in mind, Qin Qingzhou drove towards their agent's house.

Meanwhile, in the most expensive villa district of City A, a man's roar could be heard coming from inside a villa.

"Let me go! I can't take it anymore! I want to eat! I'll die if you don't let me eat!"

Watching the man, who appeared to be around twenty-five years old, being restrained on the bed, howling like a mindless wild beast.

Please! Let me eat!

"Aaaaaah!"

"Son, calm down, Mom is trying to do something." Chen's mother frantically called her private doctor: "Doctor, he's having another attack. Can he have another sedative injection?"

"No, Madam Mayor, this is no good. We've already been hit several times today. If we keep hitting her, it will damage her nerves."

"But he's completely out of control right now!"

Chen Fan was still struggling on the bed; the restraints had torn his skin, a horrifying sight.

Chen's mother dared not approach, fearing that Chen Fan, in his current state, might just devour someone.

Mayor Chen Qiming, standing nearby, flew into a rage, berating all the servants in the room: "A bunch of useless trash! Whether you're a doctor or a fortune teller, bring them all here! If anything happens to Chen Fan, I'll hold you all accountable!"

The nanny was trembling uncontrollably. Then, as if struck by a sudden thought, she cautiously stepped forward: "Mayor Chen, I've thought of someone..."

"put!"

"Wasn't there a super famous master a couple of years ago? I heard she works at the city's Public Security Bureau. She's supposed to be very knowledgeable about all sorts of mystical and suspenseful cases. Maybe she can solve them..."

Chen Qiming frowned.

He just threatened the city bureau chief, and now he's asking him to send someone over. Where does that leave his pride?

Never mind, saving my son is more important.

Chen Qiming said in a deep voice, "Go and find her. Don't make a fuss about it now. If this master can save my son, you will be rewarded."

"OK!"

After all the servants had left, Chen's mother cried and hit Chen Qiming: "What did he eat?! Why has he become like this? It's all your fault!"

"What do you know? I'm doing this to help him!" Chen Qiming, used to being respected, had never been spoken to like this before. His temper flared, and he shoved his mother aside: "Everything I've done is to help him. If you think it's my fault, then heal him yourself!"

Qin Qingzhou was unaware that the mayor's men had their eyes on Bai Zhizhi.

He had just arrived at the missing person's agent's house when both agents were there.

Because they disappeared together, the two agents stayed together, and if there was news about one, the other wouldn't be far behind.

Seeing Qin Qingzhou knocking on the door, he was so anxious he almost rushed out: "Officer, is there any news about my Mimi?"

Qin Qingzhou lowered her eyes slightly: "No, I'm here to ask you about any clues regarding their disappearance."

"Neither of the artists went to that restaurant last night."

"How could that be?" Mimi's manager was the first to disbelieve: "Mimi went through so much trouble to get a reservation, there's no way she wouldn't go."

"She had made an appointment beforehand and was happy for days. There was no way she wouldn't go."

"Have they been there before?" Qin Qingzhou asked.

Du Yimeng's agent nodded: "I've been there, but not many times. Every time I go, I come back very happy. I say that the food there is very nutritious, and eating it once is equivalent to having ten beauty treatments. It's very worthwhile."

The more they said that, the more Qin Qingzhou felt that this case was related to metaphysics.

How could there possibly be any food in this world that makes you beautiful just by eating it?

"What did they do before they left last night?"

"Nothing much..." Mimi's manager recalled, "It was just normal work. The two artists met at the scheduled time and left together."

Qin Qingzhou asked them for the home surveillance footage and also retrieved the community surveillance footage. Indeed, as they said, the two of them went to the restaurant together.

But there's something strange about it.

"It's a 20-minute drive to that restaurant, which isn't short, so why didn't they drive there?"

Mimi and Du Yimeng slowly disappeared from the surveillance footage, heading in the direction of the restaurant.

But then a possibility suddenly occurred to him.

He looked at the security camera footage at the restaurant entrance, which only showed the front door. But what if the restaurant actually had a back door?

Moreover, he hasn't seen the restaurant's internal surveillance footage. If the restaurant is truly innocent, why not just show him the footage?

Then it's very likely that they didn't enter through the main entrance!
