Returning to my senior year of high school before college, I became addicted to dating.
Chapter 88: The Great Battle of the Groups.
Afterwards, they rested for half an hour, took a shower, and it was already five o'clock.
Lin Feng took them to a small shop on the side of the alley, where they ate hot and sour noodles and roujiamo (Chinese hamburger). They had just taken a shower and were sweating profusely after eating them.
After finishing their meal, they rushed back to school.
At 7 PM, the Battle of the Hundred Regiments began.
The playground was brightly lit, with tents lined up one after another, like mushrooms after the rain.
Each club had a table in front of it, with club introductions and registration forms spread out on the table. Some people were handing out flyers, some were chanting slogans, and some were playing guitar.
The guitar club was singing "Childhood," the roller skating club was performing freestyle slalom, and the anime club's cosplayers were taking photos in outlandish costumes, surrounded by a crowd.
Lin Feng saw a model wearing the Fire Dance outfit at the anime club, and Liu Jiaqi's figure suddenly appeared in his mind.
For some reason, he felt that Liu Jiaqi resembled the Dance of Fire. He stepped forward and asked, "Can I buy this outfit?"
The girl in charge of publicity was taken aback; it was the first time she had ever encountered someone coming to the anime club to buy clothes.
She said, "Wait a minute, I'll go ask the president."
A short while later, the girl arrived with a woman who was at least 1.8 meters tall.
She was wearing flared jeans, sparkly high heels, and had a cold expression, along with large-framed glasses.
"Hello junior, I'm Zhou Sining, the president of the anime club, a third-year student. Are you looking to buy the Fire Dance outfit?"
Lin Feng nodded: "That's right, my girlfriend really likes the Dance of Fire outfit, and I want to give it to her as a gift."
Zhou Sining looked at Lin Feng with admiration, as if she were looking at a beloved figurine.
"The Fire Dancer's outfit was too revealing; this is the modified version we made. You can tell it's the Fire Dancer's outfit at a glance, so you must really love anime."
Lin Feng smiled faintly and said, "It's alright."
"Are you interested in joining the anime club?" Zhou Sining asked.
Lin Feng shook his head: "I don't have that plan, thank you."
Zhou Siyu stared at Lin Feng for three seconds: "Your appearance is perfect for cosplaying Japanese anime characters."
"How about this, I'll give you the clothes, and at the school anime convention, you can cosplay an anime character for me, okay?"
Lin Feng looked at the modified Fire Dance outfit and imagined Liu Jiaqi wearing it with him...
Damn, it was worth it. He nodded and said, "Deal."
The two added each other on QQ. Zhou Sining packed up the Fire Dance costume and handed it to Lin Feng.
Meanwhile, Liu Jiaqi, completely unaware of the situation, was browsing books at a book club booth, looking at a GG design catalog. Song Yan picked up a copy of "One Hundred Years of Solitude" and flipped through it.
Liu Chengcheng ran back and forth, clutching a stack of flyers in her hand. She picked up every single one—street dance club, taekwondo club, food club.
She ran up to Raymond Lam, breathless, and said, "I want to join the street dance club."
Lin Feng looked at her: "Can you?"
Liu Chengcheng said confidently, "I don't know how, but I can learn."
Lin Feng's eyes darted around: "Then you might as well learn pole dancing, you can dance for me whenever you have free time."
Liu Chengcheng glared at him: "Get lost, pole dancing is too flashy, it's not for me. Let Song Yan and Liu Jiaqi learn it, they're suited for it. I'm only suited for cool street dance."
Seeing that he couldn't fool this girl, Lin Feng waved his hand and said, "Whatever!"
Liu Chengcheng excitedly grabbed the flyer and ran off again.
Su Wanqing stood in front of the student council tent, holding a stack of registration forms and a pen.
She wore a white shirt with the sleeves rolled up to her elbows, a suit-style pencil skirt, black stockings, and high heels. Her hair was tied in a high ponytail, making her look both capable and sexy.
Upon seeing Lin Feng, she proactively approached him: "Lin Feng, would you like to learn more about the Student Union's External Relations Department?"
Lin Feng walked over, and Su Wanqing handed him a flyer that read "External Relations Department - Seeking Sponsorship, Organizing Events, and Engaging with the Community".
"I'm more interested in starting my own business." Lin Feng folded the flyer twice and put it in his pocket.
Su Wanqing smiled and said, "External liaison is about securing sponsorships, which is related to starting a business. You act as a bridge between sponsors and the school to help them understand what they need and what the school can provide. That's business."
Lin Feng looked at her. Su Wanqing's eyes shone brightly in the darkness, as if to say, "I know what you're doing. I'm doing the same thing."
Raymond Lam still didn't accept the application form: "I can help if I have time, but I don't necessarily have to join."
Su Wanqing smiled and nodded, "Okay, I'll call you when we need more manpower." The two exchanged a glance, understanding each other without saying a word.
The art and design club's booth was in the far corner, with a row of student works hanging on the wall: sketches, watercolors, and oil paintings.
When Lin Feng walked over, Shen Yutong was standing in front of a sketch.
She was wearing a white cotton-linen shirt, her hair was loose, and she was holding a small notebook, writing something.
Lin Feng walked up to her and stopped. Shen Yutong didn't look up, but her lips twitched slightly. "You're here to browse clubs too?"
Lin Feng nodded: "Just browsing."
Shen Yutong closed the notebook, turned around and asked, "Which painting do you think is the best?"
Lin Feng looked around carefully, then pointed to a sketch, saying, "This one is the most expressive."
Shen Yutong's eyes lit up, and the corners of her mouth turned up. "I drew that. How did you know?"
Lin Feng glanced at the sketch again. "You drew the back of the instructor's head, but look at the brushstrokes. It's not a simple copy; it's imbued with emotion."
Shen Yutong moved even closer, her shoulder almost touching Lin Feng's arm, and lowered her voice: "I'm drawing a military training series, trying to record everyone's expressions."
Lin Feng turned his head to look at her, "No wonder you carry a notebook around drawing all the time, you could draw me!"
Shen Yutong looked up at him, a hint of a smile in her eyes, "You're too handsome, it doesn't look real when you draw you."
Lin Feng smiled and shook his head. Shen Yutong smiled too, revealing a row of neat white teeth and two dimples.
Zhao Meng walked over at some point, wearing a red basketball jersey that revealed his muscular arms.
Seeing Shen Yutong and Lin Feng standing so close, his face fell, and he walked to the basketball club booth to loudly sign up:
"Basketball Club, Zhao Meng, recruited through special sports program."
The sound was so loud that everyone around could hear it. After signing his name, he turned to Shen Yutong and said:
"Shen Yutong, the basketball club has a game next week, are you coming to watch? I'm starting."
Shen Yutong didn't even look up. "No time."
Zhao Meng's smile froze. He stood there for two seconds, then turned and left, his steps heavy and fast.
Lin Feng continued looking at the paintings on the wall, while Shen Yutong continued to write and draw beside him.
After a while, Shen Yutong suddenly asked, "Have you ever thought about starting your own club?"
Lin Feng was stunned for a moment. "What?"
Shen Yutong said, "You don't seem like the type of person who wants to be told what to do. So, you can start your own club!"
Lin Feng looked at her, while Shen Yutong lowered her head to write in her notebook, "I just said it casually."
But Lin Feng kept those words in mind.
Back in his dorm that evening, Lin Feng sat on the edge of his bed changing his shoes and suddenly said, "I want to start an entrepreneurship club."
Zhang Wei immediately looked up: "What do you mean?"
Li Mo stopped turning the pages of the book.
Lin Feng said calmly, "The school doesn't have any entrepreneurship-related clubs. I want to start my own and affiliate it with the School of Management. That way, it'll be easier to raise funding for activities in the future."
Zhang Wei was the first to respond: "I'll follow whatever you do."
Li Mo chimed in, "We can give it a try."
Lin Feng leaned back on the bed and opened Shen Yutong's QQ chat window: "What you said makes a lot of sense."
Shen Yutong replied, "What?"
Lin Feng said, "It's about running a club."
Shen Yutong replied, "I was just saying it casually."
Raymond Lam said, "I took it seriously."
Shen Yutong paused for a moment before replying with a single word: "Oh."
Zhang Wei was already excited and typed to Feng Xiaotang: "Brother Feng is going to start an entrepreneurship club, and I'm a founding member."
Feng Xiaotang replied, "I don't understand, but it sounds really impressive. Keep it up!"
Lin Feng turned off the desk lamp, leaving only the light from his phone in the dormitory.
