Wizard: This mushroom is too fierce.

In the early morning, the morning mist was thick.

[Basic Meditation Method: Experience +2]

[Current Progress: Basic Meditation (Proficient 40/100)]

[You have reached your maximum training time for today; a rest is recommended.]

Roland opened his eyes, ending his meditation. He stretched his limbs, then stood up and washed his face to completely shake off his fatigue.

Half a month had passed since Roland's first meditation class, and his life was gradually getting back on track.

During this period, he created a comprehensive and detailed course plan for himself and strictly followed the procedures.

I meditate every morning, attend general classes at the college in the morning, and go to the public library in the afternoon to read various free books.

Of course, in addition to that, there are also weekly potion lessons with Olivia.

Current progress: Basic Potions (Beginner 12/100)

The progress wasn't fast. Olivia was right; Potions was indeed a subject that only gifted individuals could learn. If it weren't for his cheat-like abilities, Roland probably would have been driven crazy by the various convoluted and complicated knowledge of Potions.

In addition, Roland also took his last public course during this period, the Course of All Things, which was taught by the law wizard 'Pujon'.

It's a very interesting course that talks about various fraud cases that occur in wizarding societies and the consequences of violating wizarding society laws.

One particularly interesting case involves a trendsetting super project called "Enchanted Crystal Planting" that is said to have emerged in a certain region of the Wizarding World.

As soon as this project was launched, a series of results emerged immediately, and various funds invested heavily in related projects in this direction. From then on, this project became a benchmark, and anyone who studied this direction was able to achieve results.

After a while, even wizards who had doubts about the project were drawn in by the achievements of other wizards.

Until the project's problems were discovered by a powerful plant magician named Locke Augustine, who remained steadfast in his chosen path.

This wizard, Locke, who was only a second-ring wizard at the time, discovered that the data in the article published by the initiator of the "Plant Crystallization" project, a third-ring wizard who was famous in the wizarding world, did not match the experiments he had conducted. Furthermore, the Plant Crystallization experiment itself was a kind of harm to plants and even the wizarding world!

This was a serious case of academic fraud. According to the wizard 'Puchon' who taught Roland, after that incident, the entire wizarding association in that wizarding land was purged by the Council of Truth, and all the wizards involved in the academic fraud were severely punished and fined huge sums of money.

"The path to truth cannot tolerate deception!"

"Especially in academic exploration."

After washing up, Roland enjoyed breakfast provided by the Thunderhorn tribe in his courtyard. While eating, he looked at the young minotaur Quinn training on the lawn and asked, "Has your father, Torell, not returned yet?"

"Not yet, Lady Rolanda." Quinn sheathed his greatsword, wiped the sweat from his brow with a towel, and continued, "The war with the dark wizards seems to have escalated."

"Many warriors from our tribe have been dispatched on missions by the academy."

"Perhaps one day in the future, I will also have to go to the underworld to fight, just like my father and uncle."

Quinn's wrist trembled slightly as he said this, as if he had thought of something. However, he didn't say anything, but silently picked up the greatsword and continued practicing.

The war has not yet affected wizard apprentices. According to Roland's information, the war is currently only concentrated among the knights and servants of the Deep Caverns.

War is cruel. Looking at Quinn, who had grown so much overnight, Roland sighed and, after a moment of silence, encouraged him, "Keep going... Quinn."

After we finished eating, a multicolored parrot suddenly flew into the yard.

As soon as it got off the plane, it panted and exclaimed, "I'm exhausted!"

"That bastard Ashius sleeps like a log all day long, all he does is order me around."

The heterochromatic parrot stood on the table, grumbling and cursing, then its legs went weak and it lay down. In a feeble voice, it said, "Hey...you must be Roland."

"Ashius asked me to deliver a message to you: take the 'creature' you have chosen to him."

Upon hearing this, Roland was immediately shocked, and his previously calm mood instantly turned into excitement.

finally come!

About 20 days had passed since his first meeting with Professor Ashius, and this was the first time he had summoned Roland.

Roland tidied up and then took the swordsman mushroom 'Karak', whom he had chosen long ago and who possessed the extraordinary inheritance of the Mushroom Clan Emperor, to the appointment.

Through the teleportation array of the deserted church, we arrived at Ashius's magic hut, where Ashius, a teacher with a muscular physique who didn't resemble a wizard at all, had been waiting for a long time.

He sat shirtless on a wooden recliner outside the cabin, rocking back and forth. A book covered his face, and he looked like he was asleep. Roland couldn't see his expression clearly, but he could hear his voice: "Roland, how many points has your mental strength improved these days?"

"How many master runes did I condense during meditation, and what knowledge did I learn...?"

Ashius inquired about Roland's study progress and offered his advice.

Roland stood respectfully opposite him, his gaze slightly lowered: "Teacher, my mental strength has now reached three points."

"I have currently condensed three wood-attribute runes. I am making steady progress in the three general courses. In addition, I am also studying potion-making and reading books given by the teacher and in the academy's public library, mainly in the area of runic literature."

"Progress is alright; you haven't completely relaxed just because you passed the assessment." Ashius affirmed Roland's performance, then continued, "I remember you had some talent in botanical studies, so why did you suddenly switch to potions?"

Upon hearing this, Roland scratched his head and said bitterly, "Teacher... I want to continue down this path."

"But apart from basic magical plant science, I don't have any other books related to the magical plant field."

When Ashius heard Roland say this, his old face immediately turned red. It was his first time being a teacher, and he had really forgotten about this.

"Alright...alright...let's not talk about this anymore." Ashius removed the book from his face, then stood up and took over the topic: "After I complete the ritual for you later, I'll find some books on the field of magical plants and other subjects that you might learn at the third-level wizard apprentice stage from my spoils."

"I've been very busy lately and might not be able to take care of you much. You need to work hard yourself." After saying that, Ashius pointed to the white, tender mushroom behind Roland: "Is this the walking mushroom you carefully selected?"

"Judging from its appearance, it seems to be a mutated mutant mushroom."

Ashius glanced at it and continued, "Roland, tell me its characteristics."

"I'll summon an otherworldly creature that matches your characteristics!"

"Or rather..." A wicked smile suddenly appeared on Ashius's rugged face, "They have another name among mortals in the astral plane."

"What is it?" Roland asked curiously.

"Gods!"
