Kyoto Night Kiss

Chapter 56 Qu Yun and Lu Junhe went to school together to teach a lesson

On the way home from school, Cheng Chongchong kept telling Lu Jinxing about "Water Margin," saying, "It's full of heroes who dare to fight injustice and help others; it's so satisfying!"

Lu Jinxing was somewhat tempted and was about to agree to watch it when he got home when he was caught off guard and saw Aunt Qu standing outside the school gate.

"Mom!" Cheng Chongchong shouted loudly from the side.

Aunt Qu waved not only to her own son, but also to him.

Lu Jinxing didn't dare to look any longer and wanted to hide in the crowd next to him.

He would never steal his best friend's mother.

"Lu Jinxing, where are you going? My mom bought us some candied strawberries!" Cheng Chongchong grabbed Lu Jinxing and pulled him back.

Qu Yun squatted down and handed another bunch of candied strawberries to the boy in front of her who had no smile on his face.

She still needs a single hair from this child.

"Thank you, Aunt Qu." Lu Jinxing thanked her obediently, but did not reach out to take it. He said, "My grandma won't let me eat these things."

Qu Yun didn't insist. After praising him as a good boy, she subconsciously raised her hand as if to pat Lu Jinxing's head.

Unexpectedly, the little guy took a step back, avoiding her like the plague.

He lowered his eyes and said, "Aunt Qu, please don't touch me."

Qu Yun's hand froze in mid-air, unsure how to retract it.

Watching Lu Jinxing nod to her and get into the van, her heart ached.

"Qu Yun, I'm really, really hungry today." Cheng Chongchong had just finished eating a string of candied strawberries and was now clamoring for dinner.

When Qu Yun looked at him, she noticed a large bump on his forehead and instinctively asked, "Does anyone bully you at school?"

Cheng Chongchong promised Lu Jinxing he would keep it a secret, and when faced with his elderly mother's threat to take him to the hospital for an injection, he shook his head without changing his expression.

When it comes to her child's education, Qu Yun has always prioritized "growing up safely" and doesn't care about grades at all.

Seeing that Cheng Chongchong remained silent, Qu Yun's eyelashes trembled slightly as she coaxed, "Chongchong, just tell Mommy. Mommy is so worried about you."

Cheng Chongchong finally sighed, completely helpless against this woman who was about to burst into tears!

He recounted the events like a little adult.

It was his deskmate, Lu Buxing, who was bullied by the other students, not him.

Qu Yun woke up early the next morning.

She took out a silk wool dress from the closet; it was a simple black design with a subtle logo of a luxury brand at the waist.

In addition, she wore a necklace and earrings from the same collection, along with a gold watch on her wrist and a sparkling diamond bracelet, making her look elegant and luxurious.

The high heels are black with red soles and slender, eight-centimeter heels, while the bag has a low-key black and silver color scheme.

Qu Yun doesn't actually like wearing such expensive clothes and shoes. They can stay in the closet forever. At home, she usually chooses the most comfortable T-shirts and pants, as bland as plain water.

But today is different; she's going to the school to demand an explanation for her child.

Just because she doesn't show some things doesn't mean she doesn't have them.

"Chongchong's mom, what brings you here all of a sudden? Has Chongchong been having any difficulties with his studies lately?" The homeroom teacher welcomed Qu Yun into the reception room, not daring to look at her too closely.

But just look at the bag that Qu Yun casually placed on the sofa; it's worth the price of a small house.

Qu Yun didn't beat around the bush and told Cheng Chongchong about the injury on her head, and then asked to check the classroom surveillance footage.

The homeroom teacher hesitated. He wanted to refuse directly, but for some reason he didn't dare to be perfunctory with the woman in front of him who was so beautiful that she even seemed aggressive.

She could only decline, saying that checking the surveillance footage required going through a complicated procedure.

"Chongchong's mom, I noticed the bump on Chongchong's forehead this morning too. It's not really serious, and it's normal for kids to get hurt while playing..."

Before she could finish speaking, Qu Yun chuckled softly.

She twirled the ring on her index finger and retorted, "Is it normal to make up rhymes to tease classmates?"

The homeroom teacher's face stiffened, and she said guiltily, "Ah... such a thing happened? I... I really didn't notice that..."

She actually knew.

However, among those six somewhat playful students, one was the son of the school board member and the other was the daughter of a large corporation. Compared to Lu Jinxing, who was ordinary and had no special background in his admission file, he was quite different.

Anyone knows how to show favoritism.

"As the homeroom teacher, you bear responsibility for this matter, but the school bears an even greater responsibility." Qu Yun showed no intention of exchanging pleasantries.

Since she couldn't get any results from the conversation, she went to the classroom to demand an explanation.

Upon seeing this, the grade leader immediately made a phone call to Lu Jinxing's parents, who were listed in his file.

Perhaps the student's father is a reasonable person.

Moreover... I'm afraid of the identities of the other children's parents.

As for Qu Yun, although her son was injured, he wasn't bullied. She's such a busybody!

Qu Yun walked all the way to the classroom corridor. When she was almost at the classroom door, four burly security guards walked towards her.

She asked, "What does this mean?"

"Well... after all, the school has its rules. If you force your way into the classroom, we have the right to kick you out."

Even though I've already said I'm here to deal with school bullying?

The homeroom teacher didn't answer, and Qu Yun gave a cold laugh.

It looked like if she took another step forward, several security guards would grab her and drag her out of the school.

It seems that in this society, no matter how rich you are, you're useless without power.

Qu Yun refused to swallow this insult.

Even if it's just for Lu Jinxing, she has to take this step.

As soon as she took a step, several security guards were already preparing to rush up and grab her.

Just as someone was about to grab Qu Yun's arm and pull her away violently...

A commanding voice rang out from behind, "Anyone who dares to touch her will be put to the test."

Qu Yun froze, not expecting Lu Junhe to come.

The surrounding noise abruptly ceased, leaving only the steady footsteps coming from the end of the corridor, unhurried and each step resonating with the most tense rhythm in people's hearts.

Lu Junhe's figure was noble and upright, coming against the light, wearing a well-tailored dark handmade suit, exuding the oppressive aura of a superior.

He walked up to her and stopped.

The homeroom teacher and the grade leader were taken aback when they saw the principal smiling obsequiously beside them.

The principal immediately launched into a tirade against the two of them: "Why did you call security? Parents come to our school to resolve issues, and you, you want to resolve the parents' problems, huh?"

After he finished speaking, he bowed to Lu Junhe again, "Mr. Lu, the usual atmosphere at our school is really not like this, you..."

Ignoring him, Lu Junhe walked straight into the classroom where classes were still in session.

His gaze swept across the room and he saw his son sitting in the last row.

Lu Junhe's eyes were deep and cold. After calling Lu Jinxing to the podium, there was not a trace of extra emotion in his eyes. "Point out all the people who have bullied you."

Qu Yun walked to the classroom door and saw Lu Jinxing with his head down, looking pitiful.

Lu Junhe didn't notice the child's discomfort at all.

Seeing that Lu Jinxing didn't move, he called Cheng Chongchong up and asked her to point.

Cheng Chongchong, that little lackey, was very pleased with himself. As he walked up to the podium, he made faces at the classmates who had circled around their seats yesterday.

Qu Yun noticed that the darkness in Lu Junhe's eyes was deepening.

—He's really about to lose his temper.

Lu Junhe had shown this expression before, when she was teased and bullied by some male classmates, and those boys suffered a particularly terrible fate...

But right now, these are all just first-graders!

"No!" Qu Yun realized what was happening and gave Cheng Chongchong, who was walking up to the podium, a look that told him not to point now.

The little guy, however, seemed to be addicted to pointing, sticking out his little belly and not missing a single one.

"Quick... call security to stop them!" Qu Yun shouted to the principal standing behind her, fearing someone might die.

Unfortunately, it was too late.

Lu Junhe strode down from the podium and grabbed each of the children Cheng Chongchong pointed to by the collar, dragging them out of the classroom to the corridor.

No one dared to stop them, and no one dared to utter a sound.

The troublemaking children trembled with fear. Looking at the unfamiliar uncle in front of them, whose face was cold and whose features resembled Lu Jinxing's, tears welled up in their eyes.

Lu Junhe remained unmoved and was about to raise his hand to make a move.

In a moment of panic, Qu Yun rushed forward and grabbed the man's arm to stop him from moving. She shook her head, her brows furrowed, and said, "You'll scare our son like this."

Lu Junhe was stunned.

He didn't actually intend to teach these kids a lesson by hitting them.

Qu Yun was so anxious that she came forward and hugged him, saying that her son would be frightened.

It made his heart tremble.
