The entertainment empire began with Liu Yifei's premarital pregnancy.

The main reason for the sensation was that the female lead of "Taken" was none other than Fan Bingbing, one of the "Four Dan and Two Bing" actresses in China.

At this moment, everyone suddenly remembered that not long ago, when Lin Bufan had a falling out with Huayi Brothers.

Fan Bingbing immediately announced her termination of contract with Huayi Brothers and established her own studio, which is now affiliated with Kyoto Entertainment.

At the time, some people in the industry were mocking Fan Bingbing for losing the big picture and picking up small gains.

But now, with Fan Bingbing going to Hollywood to film a movie, and even taking on the lead role, all the female stars in the industry are unsettled.

In just three days, many inside stories about the "Taken" crew have become widely known within the industry.

The main reason is that in "Taken", there is another character, the female lead's mother, who is also Chinese.

When this news spread like wildfire within the industry, all the female stars were in an uproar.

Especially for older actresses, since the role is the female lead's mother, it definitely has nothing to do with youth.

Suddenly, those older female stars whose resources were declining all started to use their connections to get in touch.

Lin Bufan was filming, and not many people knew his private number, so no one called him.

But the white cypress suffered a terrible fate.

Everyone in the industry knows that Bai Bing is Lin Bufan's assistant. Many people in the industry have been calling Bai Bing, hoping to arrange a meeting with Lin Bufan through her.

"Xiaobai, have you thought about the future?"

Lin Bufan turned to look at Bai Bing and suddenly asked a question.

"Um?"

Bai Bing was taken aback. They were just talking about the roles in "Taken". Why was he suddenly being asked about this?

"Do you plan to debut as a star in the future, or work behind the scenes?"

Lin Bufan pressed for an answer again.

In later years, Lin Bufan first met Bai Bing through the TV series "The Myth" as Princess Yu Shu. Bai Bing's portrayal of Princess Yu Shu was outstanding, even more beautiful than Jin Xishan in Jackie Chan's film.

With Bai Bing's talent, she could easily become a star if she had the resources.

Moreover, Bai Bing can't stay as my assistant forever; she'll eventually need to be promoted. Otherwise, it would make me seem too heartless to outsiders.

He doesn't even promote his own assistant.

"Boss, I still want to work behind the scenes."

Bai Bing thought for a moment, then looked at Lin Bufan with a serious expression.

Bai Bing had occasionally thought about this question.

She knew her boss wouldn't mistreat her and would eventually release her. What would she do then?

star?

She believed that if she chose to become a star, her boss would definitely provide her with resources.

But is being a celebrity what I want?

Before becoming Lin Bufan's assistant, she would have nodded without hesitation and said: Yes!

Otherwise, she, a law student, would never have applied for the job of Lin Bufan's assistant. Her idea at the time was to enter the entertainment industry through Lin Bufan and become a star.

However, after such a long time...

Bai Bing has almost figured out the rules of the industry: celebrities only look glamorous on the surface; the real power lies with the company.

There's a lot of behind-the-scenes work involved. What are your thoughts?

Lin Bufan shifted slightly to make himself more comfortable, and looked at the other person.

"I want to be a producer..."

Bai Bing slowly revealed her thoughts.

There's a lot of behind-the-scenes work, but only a few of it has a promising future; she doesn't have the ability to be a director.

It's not that just because she followed Lin Bufan around and watched him make many movies, she has the ability to direct movies herself.

Besides the director, the most important person in a film is the producer. In some production teams, the producer even has more power than the director.

"so……"

Lin Bufan thought for a moment and looked at Bai Bing: "When 'My Own Swordsman' is being prepared, you should go and learn from him for a period of time."

Of course, Lin Bufan would never let Bai Bing become a producer right now. However, he could let Bai Bing learn and adapt to what a qualified, or even excellent, producer should do.

"Yes, boss!"

Upon hearing this, Bai Bing nodded excitedly.

While it's good to be by Lin Bufan's side and to have access to many high-end circles, she would be even happier if she could lead a project on her own.

She knows that she can't control things independently right now, so she focuses more on learning, but that's enough for her.

"I'm entrusting you with the role of the Chinese mother in 'Taken' as a test for you."

Lin Bufan looked at Bai Bing, finished speaking, then turned to the monitor and continued filming.

For him, the role of a Chinese mother requires an older actress, which he has no interest in. Rather than wasting his energy on that, he'd rather speed up the filming process.

[Ding! Congratulations, host! You have successfully checked in for the festival and received the reward: Grain Rain Festival Gift Pack]

[Host, would you like to open the holiday gift pack?]

"Is it another holiday?"

Lin Bufan checked in early in the morning as usual.

He didn't pay much attention to it; if it weren't for the system notification, he wouldn't have known it was Grain Rain today.

"I wonder what I'll get from this holiday gift pack."

Lin Bufan was already used to the daily sign-in rewards, and he would directly store them in his dimensional space after receiving them.

[Ding! Congratulations, host! You have opened the holiday gift pack and received the following rewards: a script for the movie "2012", an old villa in Huangpu District, Shanghai, and an Audi A6.]

As the system finished speaking, the movie script, property certificate and house keys, and car certificate and car keys appeared in front of Lin Bufan.

Of the three rewards, this Audi A6 is the least valuable, worth only a few hundred thousand.

Lin Bufan glanced at it briefly and then threw it directly into his dimensional space.

Immediately afterwards, Lin Bufan picked up the property certificate of the old villa in Huangpu District, Shanghai, and glanced at it. The villa was located in Huangpu District and was a detached villa with three floors above ground and no basement. It covered an area of 1,000 square meters and had gardens in the front and back.

After storing the property certificate in his dimensional space, Lin Bufan's gaze finally fell on the script for the movie "2012".

Lin Bufan had been considering what kind of movie to make after finishing filming "Flying Swords of Dragon Gate".

He had considered all the movies he had signed up for before, but none of them quite met his expectations. However, after signing up for this movie, he made a decision immediately: he would film this movie after finishing "Flying Swords of Dragon Gate".
