The entertainment empire began with Liu Yifei's premarital pregnancy.

Lin Zhiling was drunk even before drinking, her cheeks flushed, and she looked at Lin Bufan with seductive eyes.

"Miss Lin!"

Lin Bufan raised his glass and looked at Lin Zhiling.

Born in 74, Lin Zhiling is 31 years old this year. It has to be said that whether it is her figure or appearance, especially her sweet voice, she is really amazing.

Unfortunately, Lin Bufan was too focused on speed and quality when making his film to have time to woo his co-star; otherwise, he would have had the chance to try it out much earlier.

"I hope to have the opportunity to work with Director Lin again next time."

Lin Zhiling looked at Lin Bufan with a charming smile.

"If I have the chance, I will."

Lin Bufan neither agreed nor refused.

With a face like Lin Chih-ling's, no man would normally be willing to refuse her.

Of course, if it's about making a movie, unless the role is a perfect fit for her like this time, Lin Bufan wouldn't joke about his own movie.

"Thank you very much, Director Lin!"

Upon hearing the answer she wanted, Lin Zhiling downed the entire glass of wine in one gulp.

"Director Lin, my flight back to Taiwan is tomorrow. See you again sometime."

As Lin Zhiling spoke, she extended her hand to Lin Bufan.

"good!"

Lin Bufan nodded, and the next second he felt the other person slip a note into his hand.

Lin Bufan calmly put the note away, glancing at it out of the corner of his eye. It was a hotel room number, clearly indicating that Lin Zhiling had come prepared.

To go or not to go?

As Lin Bufan was pondering this, the other members of the crew came over to toast him.

After the wrap party, Lin Bufan made a decision.

Of course I'll go. I definitely want to give Sister Zhiling a try and see how capable she is.

"Extraordinary!"

Just as Lin Bufan arrived at the hotel entrance, before he could even hail a taxi, he saw Dong Xuan get out of the car.

"Why are you here?"

Lin Bufan was slightly taken aback when he saw Dong Xuan suddenly appear.

"Mimi called me and said you'd had too much to drink and asked me to come pick you up."

As Dong Xuan spoke, she stepped forward and took Lin Bufan's arm, somewhat reproachfully saying, "Luckily, Mimi called me. Otherwise, how would you get home alone so late, having drunk so much?"

Honey?

Lin Bufan turned his head to look in the direction of the hotel and saw Yang Mi smiling like a little fox, waving at him.

"You little devil, you actually betrayed me! You just wait..."

Lin Bufan felt a surge of resentment. He knew that Yang Mi had done it on purpose; she must have seen Lin Zhiling pass him the note earlier.

"Hmph, you think you can beat me to a man I haven't even slept with?"

When Yang Mi smiles, her eyes resemble crescent moons, just like a little fox.

Lin Bufan was right. Yang Mi saw the note Lin Zhiling gave him clearly and knew what Lin Zhiling was planning after a little thought.

Just kidding, Yang Mi hasn't even gotten her hands on the meat yet, how could she let you get there first?

Yang Mi could only envy others, like Dong Xuan, Chen Zihan, and Wan Qian, but Lin Zhiling was different.

She simply doesn't like him.

……

Dong Xuan is 168 cm tall with a slender figure and long legs, but if you only look at her face, it is very delicate, like a small potato from the south.

Born in 79, Dong Xuan is 26 years old this year, which is the peak of her beauty.

The next morning, when Lin Bufan got up, Dong Xuan was still fast asleep; she was exhausted from the previous night.

After putting on his clothes and leaving a note, Lin Bufan left the apartment rented by Dong Xuan.

"Looks like I need to prepare a few more houses."

After Lin Bufan went downstairs, he thought to himself.

He's already arranged for Chen Zihan to stay at the courtyard house, but Dong Xuan and Wan Qian don't have a place to live in the capital yet, and they can't keep renting.

Moreover, houses in Beijing are not very expensive now.

"Let's wait until the movie is released before we talk about it."

Lin Bufan was really looking forward to the movie "Love is Not Blind".

Although the original movie was released in 2011, specifically on November 11th, using Singles' Day as a gimmick, it ultimately grossed 350 million yuan at the box office.

It's 05 now, so the box office potential isn't that high.

However, Lin Bufan had his own considerations.

In his plan, "Love is Not Blind" will be released on December 31, just in time for the three-day New Year's Day holiday.

As for the movie's release, he had already planned it out long ago.

He's now just waiting for the Golden Globe nominations to be announced. If "Manchester by the Sea" gets nominated, he'll become an overnight sensation.

At that point, it won't be him begging the theaters; instead, the theaters will be begging him to release the film. He can also use this opportunity to market the film and generate buzz for "Love is Not Blind".

The quality of the film "Heartbreak" that I directed is not bad. As long as it generates buzz, the box office performance will not be too bad.

Furthermore, once the Oscar nominations are announced in mid-January, it will definitely boost the domestic box office of "Breakup Buddies".

For the next period of time, Lin Bufan immersed himself in the editing room and began editing "Love is Not Blind".

Lin Bufan was editing when he suddenly remembered that today was December 1st, so he checked in.

"Kung Fu Panda"

Lin Bufan looked at the script in his hand.

This movie is an animated film released by DreamWorks in 08, part of a series of films featuring giant pandas.

If he remembers correctly, the first Kung Fu Panda grossed over $6 million worldwide when it was released.

The Kung Fu Panda film series has a total of four films released, with a total box office of over 2 billion US dollars.

This is just box office revenue. If we include merchandise, the Kung Fu Panda film series could bring Lin Bufan billions of dollars in revenue.

Thinking of this, Lin Bufan walked out of the editing room, returned to his office, picked up the phone on the table, and called Carter, who was far away in Los Angeles.

"Damn it, whoever you are, if I don't have a legitimate reason, I'll kick your ass to pieces!"

Carter's somewhat agitated voice came from the other end of the phone.

"It's me!"

"BOSS?"

Upon hearing the familiar voice, Carter immediately sprang to his senses.

"Boss, what are your instructions?"

"I'll fax you a movie later. Get someone to make it as soon as possible."

Lin Bufan glanced at the time. It was noon in China, but midnight in Los Angeles. No wonder Carter was so agitated.

"Understood, Boss."

After hanging up the phone, Carter broke out in a cold sweat.

He remembered that he had specially saved the BOSS's phone number in his contacts, but it didn't show up just now.

It's just a coincidence that Lin Bufan used a landline to make the call, not his own mobile phone, so Carter's side naturally wouldn't have any record of it.
