The entertainment empire began with Liu Yifei's premarital pregnancy.

Upon their first meeting, Lin Bufan and Jessica Alba got along very well.

"Director Lin, I'll take this role. As for the script..." Jessica Alba looked at Lin Bufan.

Just now, through Lin Bufan's narration, Jessica Alba has gained a general understanding of the movie's plot.

Regarding the salary, Lin Bufan was very sincere, offering a salary of five million US dollars.

There are actresses in Hollywood who can earn tens of millions of dollars per film, but there are definitely not many, and Jessica Alba is clearly not one of them.

In fact, if it weren't for Jessica Alba's performance as the Invisible Woman in "Fantastic Four" last year, which proved her worth, she wouldn't have even received a five million dollar salary.

"script……"

Lin Bufan was just about to take out the script from the dimensional space when he suddenly remembered that he hadn't brought anything with him, not even a briefcase.

If you suddenly produce a script and it is seen by someone with ulterior motives, causing them to have bad thoughts, then there's no need to do it.

"Excuse me, I forgot to bring the script. If Miss Jessica is free, you can come with me to get it."

Lin Bufan looked at the other person somewhat embarrassed.

"All right!"

Jessica didn't think much of it. The two of them walked out of the coffee shop, got into Lin Bufan's extended Lincoln, and then drove towards Beverly Hills.

However, what the two of them didn't know was...

Just as they stepped out of the coffee shop, they were caught on camera by reporters hiding in the shadows. The photos of the two getting into the car together were also captured very clearly.

……

"I've struck it rich..."

After the convoy started moving, the reporter emerged from the shadows, looking excited.

He was just wandering around when he happened to walk past the window of the coffee shop and saw Lin Bufan and Jessica sitting opposite each other inside.

One is the previous year's Oscar-winning director, and currently the only Chinese director to win an Oscar; he is also very famous in Hollywood.

The other one is one of Hollywood's most beautiful actresses.

Two people arranged to meet for coffee?

What's going on?

He didn't care about the situation between the two of them; as long as the photos were released and he got the money, that was all that mattered.

……

"Boss, you're on the news."

Not long after Jessica left Lin Bufan's mansion, Bai Bing came up to Lin Bufan with a strange look on his face, holding a newspaper.

"What news?"

Lin Bufan looked at Bai Bing with some confusion.

Upon taking the newspaper, he saw a photo of Lin Bufan and Jessica on it.

The title is "Newly crowned Oscar-winning director falls for 'Chocolate Beauty' Jessica Alba..."

In Hollywood, "Chocolate Beauty" is a nickname given to Jessica Alba by reporters and the public.

"No, when did I put my arm around Jessica's waist...?"

Lin Bufan was speechless.

There are photos of him and Jessica, which is normal, but there is one photo that Lin Bufan does not recognize.

This photo shows him helping Jessica get into the car, supporting her waist.

However, in that situation, he very gentlemanly extended the invitation to Jessica, without even touching her hand.

This person who took the photo secretly clearly used visual tricks to capture the image.

"Fine, let the rumors spread..."

Lin Bufan put down the newspaper without any difficulty.

Let alone in open Hollywood, even back in mainland China, Lin Bufan would make headlines or be exposed online every few days because of "scandals".

He's already used to it.

"Is everything prepared for the launch event?"

After putting down the newspaper, Lin Bufan looked at Bai Bing.

Now that the lead actors have been cast, and suitable actors for the supporting roles have been found through the Screen Actors Guild in Hollywood, Lin Bufan has scheduled the press conference for the start of filming of "2012" for August 6th, which is the day after tomorrow.

"Everything is ready, and invitations have been sent to the media..."

Bai Bing nodded.

Not only Hollywood media, but also domestic media have been notified. After all, China Film Group is involved in the investment of "2012", so domestic media will definitely be invited.

This is why he set the press conference for the day after tomorrow, to give mainland media some time to travel.

……

Lin Bufan, on the other hand, could completely ignore the rumors, but Jessica Alba was quite troubled at the moment.

"I've already said, I was just going to pick up the script, I have nothing to do with Director Lin..."

Jessica Alba held the phone in her hand, explaining somewhat irritably.

"Go to Beverly Hills to pick up the script? Do you think I'm stupid?"

The voice on the phone was Cash Warren's.

Cash Warren first met Jessica Alba on the set of last year's Fantastic Four, where he was an assistant director.

After they met, Cash Warren was attracted by Jessica Alba's beauty and began to pursue her ardently.

It wasn't until a day ago that their relationship was tentatively established.

As a result, the very next day, his girlfriend was rumored to be having an affair with a Chinese Hollywood director. How could he, as her boyfriend, possibly feel about that?

Hollywood has a serious hierarchy of contempt.

Therefore, Cash Warren chose the filmmaking industry, but he is only a small-time independent filmmaker. Currently, he is producing only one documentary.

But compared to Lin Bufan, he was nothing, so he naturally started to panic.

"Believe it or not, I have absolutely no relationship with Director Lin..."

Jessica Alba looked rather grim, and after finishing her sentence, she hung up the phone immediately.

As a well-known Hollywood actress, although not a top star, with her looks, she could easily find a man who is richer and more powerful than Cash Warren if she wanted to.

She accepted Cash Warren's advances because she felt he could give her enough trust.

But now it seems I was wrong.

Cash Warren didn't believe in herself at all. Admittedly, she was somewhat curious about Lin Bufan, after all, he was Chinese and had won the Oscar for Best Director.

It's impossible not to be curious, but that's about it.

"It seems I need to re-evaluate my relationship with Cash..."

Jessica Alba leaned back on the sofa, closed her eyes, and looked somewhat tired.

Fortunately, when she accepted Cash Warren's advances, she only agreed to be friends first, and if things went well, they could take things further.

To Lin Bufan's surprise, the rumors about him and Jessica Alba spread to China in less than an hour, instantly sparking heated discussions online.
