The entertainment empire began with Liu Yifei's premarital pregnancy.

"Sister Tao!"

Lin Bufan greeted Zhou Tao as she approached, then looked at the press conference agenda and nodded to her, saying, "Sister Tao, let's proceed according to this!"

"OK!"

Zhou Tao nodded.

However, just as he turned around, Zhou Tao suddenly stopped and looked at Lin Bufan with a smile, saying, "Director Lin, I wonder if you have time for lunch today? I'd like to invite you to lunch."

"Can!"

Lin Bufan did not refuse.

"Then it's settled."

Zhou Tao smiled upon hearing this: "I'll contact Director Lin then."

"good!"

Watching Zhou Tao turn and leave, Lin Bufan suddenly asked Zhang Tian'ai beside him, "What do you mean by Zhou Tao inviting me to dinner?"

He and Zhou Tao didn't have much interaction.

In fact, this was the first time Lin Bufan had ever met her.

"Who knows, maybe this CCTV anchorwoman will fall in love with the boss the moment she sees him," Zhang Tianai said, looking at Lin Bufan with a playful expression.

"You're so sweet-talking!"

Lin Bufan turned to look at Zhang Tianai and smiled.

"whee!"

Zhang Tianai chuckled, then whispered in a voice only the two of them could hear, "Boss, don't you know how sweet-talking she is..."

As Zhang Tianai spoke, when Lin Bufan turned to look at her, she deliberately bit her lip and looked at him with a somewhat dazed expression.

"You little devil..."

Lin Bufan's anger surged instantly.

It was at this point that time ran out; otherwise, he would have insisted on letting Zhang Tianai experience what it felt like to be unable to get out of bed for three days.

……

The press conference for the start of filming of "Guixu: The Spirit Realm of Mountains and Seas" was divided into five stages.

The first phase consists of media check-ins and a red carpet event.

At 8:30 a.m., a media check-in area was set up in the lobby of the Qinhuangdao Grand Hotel.

The event included a registration area for domestic media, with representatives from over a hundred media outlets, including China News Service, CCTV Movie Channel, Sina Entertainment, Sohu Entertainment, Tencent Entertainment, NetEase Entertainment, Beijing News, Southern Weekly, Beijing Youth Daily, Film Art Magazine, Ta Kung Pao, Ming Pao, Oriental Daily News, United Daily News, and Liberty Times.

At the international registration desk, media outlets present included The Hollywood Reporter, Variety, The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, Associated Press, Fuji Television, Asahi Shimbun, Mainichi Shimbun, Toho, JoongAng Ilbo, Dong-A Ilbo, Sejm, Cahiers du Cinéma, Le Figaro, The Times, The Guardian, Empire Magazine, Der Spiegel, Corriere della Sera, and TASS.

The check-in process alone took almost half an hour.

Meanwhile, the movie channel had already started a live broadcast from the red carpet outside the hotel.

On the movie channel, reporter Jian, Li Mubai, holding a microphone, made a live connection: "Hello everyone, I'm currently at the Qinhuang International Hotel in Qinhuangdao..."

Jonathan Lee of The Hollywood Reporter was on the other side of the red carpet, giving an oral report in English to the Los Angeles headquarters.

This process is expected to take one and a half hours.

When all the media reporters had entered the second-floor conference hall, at ten o'clock, Zhou Tao, dressed in a red suit, walked from the back to the front of the stage.

A spotlight shone on the stage. Zhou Tao smiled, took out the microphone, and walked steadily onto the stage. Looking at the hundreds of media organizations below, his voice was clear: "Distinguished guests, media friends from home and abroad, good morning!"

"In April, Qinhuangdao is bathed in a refreshing sea breeze and boasts a vast expanse of blue water. In this city, we gather at the Qinhuangdao International Hotel to witness the launch of a groundbreaking film."

"I am Zhou Tao, a CCTV host. It is a great honor to be invited to host the global launch press conference for this film!"

As expected of CCTV's top female anchor, she stood on the stage, facing hundreds of media outlets from all over the world, with a steady demeanor and without the slightest mistake.

"First, please allow me to introduce the distinguished guests present today..."

"Mr. Han Sanping, Chairman of China Film Group, is the producer of the film 'Guixu: The Spirit Realm of Mountains and Seas'!" As Zhou Tao's voice fell, Han Sanping walked from behind the scenes to the front of the stage and greeted the reporters below.

"Mr. Ren Zhonglun, Chairman of Shanghai Film Group!"

"Mr. Carter Dennis, General Manager of Hollywood Extraordinary Pictures!"

"Mr. Lin Bufan, Chairman of Kyoto Entertainment!"

"Mr. Wang Changtian, Chairman of Guangxian!"

"Mr. Yang Shoucheng, Chairman of Emperor Entertainment Group!"

"Mr. Yu Dong, Chairman of Bona Film Group!"

"Ms. Shi Nansheng, General Manager of Kyoto Jiahe Entertainment!"

"Ms. Liu Xiaoli, General Manager of Crystal Entertainment!"

Amidst a flurry of flashing lights from the audience, the group walked onto the stage to make their appearance.

The next few minutes were for the producers to give their speeches, during which they discussed the origins of the project and the scale and prospects of the investment.

A few minutes later, after the speeches were finished, the group walked off the stage.

"Next, let's welcome the creative team of the film 'Guixu: The Spirit Realm of Mountains and Seas': Director Lin Bufan, and lead actors Leon, Gong Li, Wen Zhang, Tang Guoqiang, Jing Tian, Wu Zhenyu, Chris Hemsworth, Fan Shaohuang, and Shen Teng."

This list was determined by Zhou Tao after studying it for a long time.

First of all, Leonardo DiCaprio's international status will undoubtedly place him first, that's indisputable, and Gong Li is second as well.

Considering that the emblem is the male lead of the movie, it was placed in the third position. Tang Guoqiang, after all, has a seniority, so it was not appropriate to place him later and he was placed in the fourth position.

Jing Tian is the only second female lead, so naturally she can't be placed at the back of the list, and the same applies to the others.

No one can find fault with this list.

Lin Bufan walked onto the stage again, followed by Leonardo DiCaprio, Gong Li, and others, standing in the center of the stage.

This period is reserved for the director and creative team to share their personal insights on the film's concept and character preparation, as well as their understanding of the script.

"Thank you to all the creators for your insightful sharing. Friends, a film goes through a long journey from script to screen. And today marks the beginning of that journey. Next, we will usher in the most sacred moment of this press conference—the opening ceremony."

Under Zhou Tao's control, everything proceeded smoothly.

If it's a Hong Kong film, a blessing ceremony is definitely held during the opening ceremony.

But this is not Lin Bufan's habit.

As Zhou Tao finished speaking, staff carried in a camera covered with a red cloth.

"Please, the creative team, unveil the red cloth covering the camera!"

Lin Bufan led Xiao Lizi, Gong Li, and Wen Zhang forward, each holding a corner of a red cloth.
