The entertainment empire began with Liu Yifei's premarital pregnancy.

Because of the success of "Love is Not Blind," Yang Shoucheng is now very eager for his next collaboration with Lin Bufan.

"noob!"

Lin Bufan looked at Bai Bing beside him.

The latter understood and then took a script from his briefcase and placed it on the table.

"Boss Yang, you can take a look at this script first."

Ip Man

Yang Shoucheng looked up and saw two large characters written on the script cover.

Before arriving, Lin Bufan took the script out of the dimensional space and handed it to Bai Bing for safekeeping.

"This script..."

After a quick glance at the script, Yang Shoucheng's eyes lit up.

Having been in the entertainment industry for so many years, Yang Shoucheng can tell the quality of a script at a glance, let alone one from a script provided by Lin Bufan, which guarantees box office success.

"For the movie 'Ip Man,' Kyoto Animation will only be responsible for the investment, while the production team and filming will be handled by Emperor Entertainment Group. Kyoto Animation will have a 60% investment ratio. What do you think, Mr. Yang?" Lin Bufan didn't beat around the bush and looked directly at the other party.

The film "Ip Man" did not have a high budget, and the 30 million figure that Huang Baiming later promoted is obviously an exaggeration.

There weren't any big scenes in this movie, and Dan Wong's salary for the first movie was only three million, so there was no need for a thirty million investment.

According to Kyoto Entertainment's budget, the first "Ip Man" film could be made for ten million yen.

It's only ten million; with Kyoto Entertainment's resources, they could easily produce it themselves.

But as the saying goes, the biggest taboo in the entertainment industry is to monopolize everything. In mainland China, Lin Bufan already has two allies, Enlight Media and Huayi Brothers. In Hong Kong and Taiwan, excluding the Xiang brothers, Emperor Entertainment is the only suitable partner.

"Okay, no problem."

Yang Shoucheng sensed Lin Bufan's sincerity. Since they were both worldly people, there was no need to argue or say anything further; otherwise, it would be beneath him.

"This is Mr. Lin's first time visiting Hong Kong, and I have specially prepared a welcome dinner for you."

The two have already agreed on the general framework of the cooperation; the remaining details can be left to their subordinates to handle.

"Thank you, Mr. Yang. I'll gladly accept your offer."

Lin Bufan readily accepted good advice.

This was the first formal collaboration between the two parties. He understood some of Yang Shoucheng's thoughts and naturally wouldn't return to the mainland at this time.

"I've already had Xiao Huo book a five-star hotel for Mr. Lin. You can go and rest first..."

As Yang Shoucheng spoke, he looked at Huo Wenxi standing to the side.

"Mr. Yang, there's no need for a hotel. I have a villa in Repulse Bay."

Lin Bufan interrupted, "I would like to trouble you, Boss Yang, to arrange a car and driver for me, that will be fine."

"it is good."

Yang Shoucheng nodded and looked at Huo Wenxi: "Xiao Huo, go and make the arrangements."

"Yes, boss!"

Huo Wenxi nodded.

Upon arriving at the Emperor Building, a brand-new Rolls-Royce Phantom was parked at the entrance.

"Take Director Lin to Repulse Bay!"

After getting into the car, Huo Wenxi gave instructions to the driver.

Along the way, Huo Wenxi and Bai Bing chatted casually, from cosmetics to luxury goods. In the blink of an eye, the two seemed to have gone from strangers to best friends.

In reality, both sides are very clear about their own positions.

As Kyoto Entertainment and Emperor Entertainment deepen their cooperation, there will be many more opportunities for the two parties to meet in the future, and their familiarity with each other will be beneficial for future work.

……

Lin Bufan leaned back in his chair with his eyes closed, showing no interest in the conversation between Bai Bing and Huo Wenxi.

I recalled the movies and TV shows I had checked in on.

"Manchester by the Sea" has been completed and won him the Academy Award for Best Director. "Love is Not Blind" helped him become the highest-grossing film in mainland China, establishing his reputation as a commercial director.

"Lurking" has already been released and its box office continues to rise. It is estimated that the final box office will be around 1.7 million US dollars.

Kung Fu Panda is currently in production and will not be released anytime soon. The Final Destination film crew is currently filming, and Ip Man has just reached a cooperation agreement with Emperor Entertainment.

Lin Bufan in "Flying Swords of Dragon Gate" is also currently filming, and it is expected to be completed in at least two months.

Currently, there are six films remaining: Lust, Caution, I Am Legend, Painted Skin, Night at the Museum, Home Alone, and World War Z; three TV series: My Own Swordsman, Zhu Yuanzhang, and Ming Dynasty 1566; and one variety show, The Voice of China, which has not yet started.

Lin Bufan plans to direct the film "Lust, Caution" himself, aiming for the Golden Lion Award at next year's Venice International Film Festival.

Lin Bufan wants box office success, and he certainly won't give up awards either.

He wasn't interested in the other films and planned to hand them over to others. If that was the case for films, he certainly wouldn't direct a TV series himself.

For these projects to launch, Kyoto must expand again, establishing a directing department, a drama production department, and a variety show department.

With the box office revenue from "Love is Not Blind" coming in, plus the funds Lin Bufan earned from signing contracts during this period, he is fully capable of launching these projects simultaneously.

……

"Director Lin, please get some rest. I'll bring my driver to pick you up before the dinner."

At the entrance of the Repulse Bay villa, Lin Bufan got out of the car and led Bai Bing inside.

"Hello, Mr. Lin!"

Upon entering the Repulse Bay Villa, the villa's butler and servants stood at the door to greet us.

After signing the lease for this villa, Lin Bufan asked someone in Hong Kong to hire a housekeeper and nanny to take care of daily cleaning and sanitation matters.

Lin Bufan only knew the general details of this villa in Repulse Bay: it was over 4,000 square meters in area, with a garden in front and a swimming pool in the back, and three floors above and two floors below, for a total of five floors.

There are five bedrooms and one study, not including the nanny's room.

"The environment is really nice."

Lin Bufan walked up to the master bedroom on the third floor, opened the balcony door, looked at the distant sea view, and nodded in satisfaction.

Based on current property prices in Hong Kong, this villa is worth over HK$3 million.

Since the check-in system was upgraded to allow holiday check-ins, Lin Bufan has checked in at properties worth nearly 10 billion yuan.

The most expensive is this Repulse Bay villa, followed by the Beverly Hills mansion, the penthouse duplex in Tomson Riviera in Shanghai, and the Fragrant Hills villa.

The cheapest one is the villa in Yalong Bay in Sanya, which is even cheaper than the penthouse duplex in Panhai International.

The courtyard house in Shichahai is not included in the calculation; it was obtained through the new player gift pack by signing in daily.

……

These past few days, Lin Bufan has been busy without rest, but fortunately he has strengthened his body.

Huo Wenxi arrived at around 3 p.m.

However, it wasn't about the dinner party, but rather some matters concerning "Ip Man" that required Lin Bufan's approval.
