The entertainment empire began with Liu Yifei's premarital pregnancy.

"Props, go set up those flags. The director's coming back soon and we're about to start filming..."

Lin Bufan returned to the film set and happened to hear the sounds coming from the props department. He couldn't help but glance over.

When Lin Bufan saw those flags, his mind instantly became clear.

He finally understood why he always felt something was off, but he couldn't quite put his finger on it.

"Bid for the Olympics!"

Lin Bufan immediately called over the assistant director, Shen Ao.

"Director Lin!"

"Go tell the props team to take all those flags down."

Lin Bufan pointed to the flags that the props team was carrying in the distance.

The flags were inscribed with the positions and names of the various officials.

When the production team was preparing for the film, the props were prepared according to the original script blueprint. In reality, these flags looked very out of place in the movie.

This isn't a martial arts tournament, and they aren't the leaders of various sects who need to raise their flags.

In the original version, besides the flag being out of place, the words on the flag were also very out of place, as they were all machine-typed and looked out of place with the movie background.

"OK!"

After the flags were removed, Lin Bufan sat behind the monitor and looked at the content on the screen, and only then did he find it pleasing to the eye.

In the original version, this scene focused entirely on the fight between Wan Yulou, the supervisor of the Eastern Depot, and Zhao Huai'an.

Taking a picture like that makes no sense.

Even the mighty Eastern Depot has been attacked; its agents will surely fight them to the death.

In Lin Bufan's version, Zhao Huai'an did not come alone, but gathered a group of martial arts figures to launch a surprise attack on the Eastern Depot.

A fierce battle ensued, with almost all the martial arts practitioners killed or wounded, and the agents of the Eastern Depot also suffering heavy casualties. In the end, after Zhao Huai'an killed Wan Yulou, he led the few remaining martial arts practitioners and managed to rescue only a portion of the officials.

"Click!"

"Passed!"

As soon as the words were spoken, all the hundreds of people in the crew breathed a sigh of relief.

Such large-scale ensemble scenes not only test Lin Bufan's directing skills, but also pose a great challenge to the crew.

After this major event, filming resumed on schedule, and Dong Xuan, Shu Chang, and others joined the crew at the same time.

[Ding! Congratulations, host! Daily check-in successful. Rewards: One bottle of Liuwei Emperor Pills (10 pills) + One bottle of Beauty and Nourishing Pills (10 pills) + 100 million US dollars]

[Ding! Congratulations, host! You have successfully checked in for the festival and received a reward: a Spring Equinox Festival Gift Pack]

[Host, would you like to open the holiday gift pack?]

"Open!"

In the company office, Lin Bufan glanced at the calendar. Today was March 21st, the Spring Equinox, so he started the sign-in for the day.

[Ding! Congratulations, host! You have opened the holiday gift pack and received the following rewards: a script for the TV series "Ming Dynasty", ownership of the 15th floor of Building 6 in the Oriental Trade City, and a Maybach 62S.]

As the system's voice faded, a bottle of Liuwei Emperor Pills, a bottle of Beauty and Nourishing Pills, a script, a property ownership certificate, a vehicle registration certificate, and a car key appeared in front of Lin Bufan.

Lin Bufan directly stored the Six-Flavor Emperor Pill and the Beauty and Nourishing Pill in his dimensional space.

"The Splendor of the Ming Dynasty!"

Lin Bufan picked up the script and glanced at it.

In later generations, this TV series became a hit across the internet as soon as it aired, especially Wang Xueqi's portrayal of Emperor Yongle, Zhu Di, which is considered a classic among classics.

The only flaw in this drama is the character of Sun Ruowei.

Another point is that if this drama had ended after Zhu Zhanji's death, it would definitely be a classic that people would watch two or even three times.

However, the series deliberately included Emperor Yingzong (Zhu Qizhen), causing it to start strong but ultimately decline.

"Fine, let's just hand it over to the scriptwriting department and have them revise the script properly."

Lin Bufan shook his head slightly and put the script aside.

Since Lin Bufan decided to expand Kyoto Entertainment after returning from Hong Kong, he has established several departments.

Among them is the scriptwriting department. Su Mo, the scriptwriter, was formerly the deputy editor-in-chief of the Tianjin Metropolitan Daily and is now the manager of the scriptwriting department.

Besides the scriptwriting department, there is also an artist department. The manager of the artist department is Shen Xiuya. Before coming to Kyoto, she was Wang Jinghua's right-hand woman and was quite capable.

There are also variety show department and directing department. The manager of the variety show department is Sun Jinghai. He used to work at Hunan TV and was one of the producers of Super Girl. After the show became a hit, he was replaced.

Currently, the variety show department is in contact with Enlight Media to prepare for the variety show "The Voice of China".

As for the directing department, it has only been established so far and no directors have been signed yet. The manager of the directing department is Liu Zhengyang, who used to be the logistics manager of a Fortune 500 company.

The director's manager doesn't need to be highly specialized; their role is simply to provide excellent service to each of the directors they sign.

Lin Bufan returned to the company from the film set this time for matters related to the company's expansion, so he happened to be at the company to sign in.

After putting down the script, Lin Bufan picked up the property ownership certificate for the 15th floor of Building 6 in the Oriental Trade City and examined it carefully.

Many people may not have heard of Oriental Trade City, but if it were called Oriental Plaza, many more people would probably be familiar with it.

The Oriental Plaza complex consists of eight Grade A office buildings and is officially named Oriental Trade City.

The six buildings have a total height of 15 floors and an area of more than 2800 square meters. This office building is less than 1.5 kilometers away from the Forbidden City.

"Should we move?"

A thought suddenly flashed through Lin Bufan's mind: if Kyoto Entertainment moved here, it would save them the trouble of renting office space here.

But soon, Lin Bufan put the idea out of his mind.

Most of the companies that have moved into Oriental Plaza are Fortune 500 companies, and most of them are financial companies.

Entertainment companies are not a good fit.

"Let's talk about that after we establish a financial investment company!"

He will definitely establish an investment company. He can't possibly let so many unicorn companies in the future slip by. It's just that he doesn't have enough funds right now, so he hasn't made any plans yet.

As for the last Maybach 62S, Lin Bufan only glanced at it before storing it in his dimensional space.

……

"Boss!"

Just then, Bai Bing knocked on the door and came in.

"The department managers are all in the meeting room."

"good!"

Lin Bufan got up and walked towards the conference room.

When Lin Bufan arrived at the conference room, the managers of various departments of the company stood up and looked towards the door.

"Alright, everyone, please sit down!"

Lin Bufan walked to his seat, sat down, and then slightly gestured to the crowd.

"Manager Sun, what stage has the coordination with Guangxian reached?"

Lin Bufan looked at Sun Jinghai.

Lin Bufan has already communicated with Wang Changtian about the variety show "The Voice of China," and Wang has agreed to help with the preparations.
