From American comics to becoming the mastermind behind the scenes

Chapter 2: The Hell's Kitchen Massacre, Daredevil's Shock

[Destiny Points +0.1]

[Fate Points +0.1]...

Multiple notifications popped up indicating that one's Destiny Points had increased.

[Fate Points from Madam Gao: +10]

"It seems they've already discovered the corpse in the dungeon. I never imagined that the fate of a mere Madam Gao would be worth so many points."

The bar was filled with deafening music and an atmosphere of decadence and debauchery.

The ground was a mess, stained with blood and littered with various debris. There was no sign of anyone, only a dozen or so corpses that had been dried up by the Star Absorbing Technique lying on the ground.

Judging from their attire, they were clearly thugs in the bar.

Li Ang had transformed into Ren Woxing's appearance, sitting upright at the bar, accepting the drink that the bartender nervously handed him, and drinking it all in one gulp.

"What kind of horse piss is this? It tastes awful." Li Ang frowned and casually smashed his glass on the bar.

The bartender dared not dodge and was cut by the broken glass, bleeding profusely.

"I'm sorry, I'll go change it right away."

Li Ang chuckled: "No need. I'll go find Kim and have a chat with him."

The bartender felt a dryness in his throat and subconsciously swallowed.

No one could have imagined that the elderly Asian man, dressed like a homeless person, would be so agile and so cruel in his methods of murder.

In the blink of an eye, the bar's thugs were drained dry by the old man in front of them!

They glanced at the dried corpse on the ground and couldn't help but shudder. They were all from the underworld and knew that their lives weren't worth much, but... the way this old Asian man killed people was too terrifying.

It's like a scene from a horror movie.

But Kim Jong-un has always kept a low profile, and someone as insignificant as him has no idea where Kim Jong-un is!

"I...I don't know," the bartender said in a trembling voice, closing his eyes in fear.

Li Ang grabbed the bartender's head with one hand: "Then what use are you to me?!"

The Star-Absorbing Technique was activated instantly, the bartender's eyes sank in, and his trembling, pleading voice abruptly stopped.

Suddenly, another dried-up corpse appeared on the bar counter.

"If you won't come out, then I'll kill you until you do." Li Ang sneered as he stood up and looked into the shadows. "There's another rat here, get out!"

A fighting stick shot out and struck Li Ang between the eyebrows.

Li Ang snorted coldly, grabbed the object with one hand, and threw it back with the other, its momentum fierce as it came and its momentum even stronger as it went.

With a muffled thud, a figure lunged straight at them from the darkness.

Wearing a red bodysuit, with a pair of red horns on his forehead, he looked like a devil.

It's Daredevil, the street hero from Hell's Kitchen!

"I didn't expect that when trouble broke out on Kingpin's territory, you would be the first to arrive," Li Ang said with a smile.

Daredevil gripped two sticks, his brow furrowed.

Although blind, Daredevil's other senses are exceptionally sharp. He can not only hear people calling for help several blocks away, but also hear heartbeats and smell people's emotions.

Under the tutelage of the martial artist Stickman, Daredevil's fighting skills became superb, making him a low-budget version of Batman.

"You killed them?" Daredevil demanded.

Li Ang, gripping the dragon claw hook, said dismissively, "I can kill if I want, what else?"

"They may be criminals, but they should be punished by law," Daredevil said. "You're trampling on the law!"

Li Ang threw his head back and laughed loudly: "Law? I was imprisoned in the West Lake dungeon for decades and only learned one thing: the strong rule and the law is nothing but a toy."

Daredevil remained silent, then raised his short stick and charged at Li Ang.

Daredevil is agile and his moves are both offensive and defensive.

The two fought fiercely, but Daredevil gradually felt that Li Ang's speed was getting faster and faster, and he could no longer keep up with the speed of his attacks.

"How is this possible?" Daredevil was shocked, cold sweat beading on his forehead.

Li Ang smiled slightly: "Your external skills are not bad, but your internal skills are too poor."

After saying that, he accelerated again, and Daredevil was instantly at a disadvantage, with Li Ang's fists raining down on him.

Daredevil blocked with both arms, only to feel a strange energy surging into his body where Li Ang had hit him, causing excruciating pain all over his body, as if a thousand ants were gnawing at his heart.

Li Ang exerted his strength again, slapping Daredevil in the chest with his palm. Daredevil flew dozens of meters away and crashed heavily into the wall, spitting out a mouthful of blood.

"Not bad, this is the first time I've had such a satisfying fight since escaping from the West Lake water prison. I'll spare your life today." Li Ang smiled brightly and strode out of the bar.

Daredevil struggled to stand up, only to feel unbearable muscle soreness, as if he were on fire.

"The police are coming soon, I have to get out of here quickly."

His hearing was sharp; he could already hear police cars sirens approaching from several blocks away. Knowing that if he didn't leave soon, he would be cornered by the police in the bar, he mustered his strength and limped away from the bar.

……

George Stacy pushed open the dilapidated door of the bar, and despite all the preparations, the moment she saw the scene on the dance floor...

George Stacy instinctively gasped. He had been a police officer for several years and was about to be promoted to commissioner of the New York Police Department.

But I have never seen such a horrific scene before.

A dozen or so mummified corpses lay scattered on the ground. The bartender looked as if his brains had been drained, and he resembled Imhotep from The Mummy when he was still a mummified corpse.

"Call the medical examiner over here," George Stacy said, crouching down with a serious expression.

[From Daredevil - ...]

A series of notifications kept ringing in Li Ang's ears. In a corner, Li Ang switched back to his original body and was now sitting leisurely drinking coffee in a coffee shop across from the bar.

"Not bad, Daredevil gave me three thousand Destiny Points. I wonder how many that guy can give me." Li Ang looked at the most eye-catching building among the rows of towering skyscrapers - "Stark Industries Building".

"It's a pity that some of these buildings are no longer available," Li Ang said, turning his gaze away.

A notification sound piqued Li Ang's interest.

[Fate Points from George Stacy +5]

Although still not high, its accumulated points stand out among the many scores of 0.1 and 0.2.

"It seems he must have some connection with one of the main characters, and a close one at that. I guess I need to add a few more cards, otherwise my story simply can't unfold."

Li Ang opened the [Fate Weaving System], and 5,000 points were enough for him to open five bronze treasure chests.

"I wonder when I'll be able to get the power to go home." Li Ang took a deep breath to calm his melancholy, and smiled as he watched the bronze treasure chests that began to open one after another.

"If I keep going, I'm sure I'll find a way home! Come on, let me see what I drew!"
