I enlisted four times! My former unit blacklisted me.

Soon, the day for the home visit arrived.

The same group of people were still responsible for the home visits.

The group consisted of Captain Liu from the Armed Forces Department, a certain official from the county government, the township head, and the village head.

In the end, Wu Hanfeng didn't have many good home visits left.

His three previous enlistments had already proven his clean political record.

Extremely good.

However, according to procedure, I still have to go up there.

The purpose, in fact, is to get the families of soldiers who are going to join the army to support them in going to the military to defend their country.

This is a necessary procedure.

On the way to Wujia Village, the people in the car all had somewhat complicated expressions.

They have been doing home visits for many years and have visited almost every village in the county.

But the families who went were all different.

But Wu Hanfeng's family is different.

Including this time, they have come four times now.

Moreover, it was all for the same person.

"Sigh, wait a minute, who's going to talk to their parents? I just can't bring myself to do it."

Captain Liu said with a wry smile, "I won't mention the second time, but last time, just looking at the way those two old men were looking at me, I was afraid they would pull out a knife and chop me up!"

The township head chuckled and said, "You're the main person in charge; we're just there to support you. Of course, you should be the one to make the announcements."

The government official joked, "Xiao Liu, it's alright. Military families are very understanding; at most, they'll just chase you away with a broom."

Captain Liu yelled, "Can't you two have a proper conversation? This hasn't even started yet, and you're already scaring me!"

"It's all Wu Hanfeng's fault. Has he lost his mind? Does he really have to be a soldier?"

"He's quitting, so what? Life isn't just about joining the army. Tell me, why is he being so stubborn?"

"Could it be that there are still many beautiful women in the army, and he can't bear to leave this haven of comfort?"

The township head raised his hand and said, "But no matter what, it's a good thing that he's going to join the army."

"Especially since they got into university and are still willing to join the army!"

"Every year your armed forces department asks us to help find college students, saying that it is necessary to improve the cultural level of the troops and that the future construction of informationized troops requires more college students."

"Now that one has finally come along, you're starting to complain."

The government official chimed in, "Exactly! Anyway, our county only has one college graduate this year. If you don't handle this well, and if you get investigated, don't drag us into it!"

"Dada dada!"

Captain Liu said speechlessly, "I didn't say I didn't want it. Besides, whether I want it or not is not up to me to decide."

The township head said, "But Wu Hanfeng's parents will also affect the final political review result. If those two elders absolutely refuse to let Wu Hanfeng re-enlist, it will be difficult for you to handle the situation."

Captain Liu looked out the window and sighed, "What terrible things have I done?"

Soon, the group arrived at Wu Family Village.

The village chief was already waiting at the village entrance.

Since cars couldn't drive in, everyone had to carry their materials and walk in.

"Hey? Aren't those government officials who used to visit the homes of children joining the army every year?"

"I still remember that guy in the military uniform! A couple of years ago, he was the one who led the team to Wu Laosan's house. I saw him lingering at the door for a long time, not daring to go in, as if he was afraid of being beaten."

"It really seems to be him. But I don't think anyone from our village joined the army this year, right? I haven't heard anyone mention it! Whose child is it?"

"Why don't we go and take a look?"

"Do you think it could be Xiao Feng from Wu Laosan's family?"

"No way?! Didn't he just drop out a few months ago? Besides, he got into university, wasn't he going to go to college?"

"Who knows! Don't forget, that brat has already enlisted three times. Enlisting again wouldn't be surprising!"

As Captain Liu and his men walked over, the villagers behind them were dumbfounded when they saw them stop in front of Wu Hanfeng's house!
