I enlisted four times! My former unit blacklisted me.

Ten minutes later.

Four recruit companies, from the first to the fourth, appeared one after another on the main road.

Then, in company-level units, they walked out of the regimental gate.

We walked towards the firing range behind the regiment.

"Brother Feng! Brother Feng!"

Zhao Yihang followed behind Wu Hanfeng and asked curiously, "You've been in the army for so many years, how many live rounds have you fired in total?"

Wu Hanfeng said, "During basic training, we fought a lot, about three times a month for a year."

"But after I joined the company, it was about twice a month on average."

Zhao Yihang was taken aback: "So little?"

"few?"

Wu Hanfeng scoffed, "Do you think we're a special forces unit?"

"Twice a month is a normal training target."

Qian Kun asked, puzzled, "But aren't soldiers mainly trained in running and shooting?"

"You run five kilometers every day, but only shoot twice a month?"

Wu Hanfeng: "Nonsense! Because we're motorized infantry! Of course we have to be on the move every day!"

Qian Kun and Zhao Yihang looked puzzled: "Motorized? Our group has motorcycles? We've been here for almost a month, how come we haven't seen any?"

Wu Hanfeng: "..."

Zhou Haibo, who was standing nearby, couldn't hold back any longer and jokingly scolded the two of them:

"The so-called motorization simply means mobility!"

"There are no two-wheeled or three-wheeled ones, only four-wheeled ones with an engine! Like the big trucks we usually ride in! Got it?"

Wu Hanfeng pointed to their legs: "There are two-wheeled ones too, look, aren't you driving them right now?"

Zhao Yihang immediately burst out laughing, "What the heck! So it's like using your legs to achieve motorcycle-like mobility?!"

Qian Kun: "So after we're assigned to our units, will we be doing the same things as in basic training, like in drills, pull-ups, or five-kilometer runs every day?"

Wu Hanfeng laughed and said, "You're dreaming! Do you think you can march in formation every day after you're assigned to your unit?"

Qian Kun was overjoyed: "No more queuing? That's great! I'm about to throw up from walking so much lately."

Wu Hanfeng said, "Yes! It's true that you don't need to do drills every day. It's just things like five kilometers, four hundred meters obstacle course, mountain run, 100-kilometer zip line, field training, and armed swimming."

Qian Kun: "..."

Zhao Yihang: "..."

Although they haven't experienced it yet, just hearing about it is terrifying!

…………

After more than ten minutes, we finally arrived at the shooting range on the back mountain.

The firing range is very large.

Surrounded by mountains on all sides.

There are targets on all four sides, but the northern one is farther away, at least 1000 meters away.

The other three sides are at least 300 meters high.

The four recruit companies lined up in their respective rows, waiting to go on stage.

Not far away, there were several temporary tents.

There were boxes of bullets in wooden crates.

Several key personnel from the organization sat there, responsible for registration and distribution.

Meanwhile, at the distant firing range, a row of soldiers were making final adjustments to the targets.

"Each class, quickly separate, face the target, and familiarize yourselves with the aiming and shooting procedures again."

"Ten minutes later, our first company of new recruits will start fighting."

After Chen Zhiyuan finished speaking, the squad leaders immediately ordered the new recruits in their respective squads to make way.

Wu Hanfeng set up the gun.

Having served in the military for six years, I have participated in over a hundred live-fire exercises.

He was much more skilled than the other recruits at how to hold a gun and how to aim.

"System! Activate shooting assistance skill!"

System: [Received! Shooting assist skill activated successfully!]

As soon as the system voice finished speaking, a red lightning ray that only he could see appeared in Wu Hanfeng's vision!

On either side of the laser beam are various data and prompts.

For example, the right side shows the distance to the target, wind speed, humidity, etc.

On the left are instructions for Wu Hanfeng on how to adjust the gun, such as how far to move the muzzle to the left, right, up, or down!

"That's awesome!"

Wu Hanfeng excitedly asked the system, "System, if I aim according to the instructions, as long as the gun doesn't shake, I can basically hit the target every time?"

System: [That's one way to understand it.]

Wu Hanfeng: "Alright! Let's wait and see, and try out the 'Kirin Arm'!"

Zhao Yihang and Qian Kun, who were standing nearby, both noticed the smile on Wu Hanfeng's face.

"Brother Feng, what are you laughing at?"

Wu Hanfeng coughed lightly. "I wasn't laughing."

Zhao Yihang: "You're lying, you clearly smiled."

Qian Kun: "Brother Feng, how many rings did you get in your first live-fire shooting exercise after enlisting?"

Wu Hanfeng said, "Who remembers! Anyway, I passed."

Zhao Yihang: "Brother Feng, is it hard to get a 100-ring score?"

Wu Hanfeng: "Nonsense! If it weren't difficult, I would have enlisted three times already, earned a third-class merit, and become a non-commissioned officer long ago. Why would I need to keep going in and out?"

Qian Kun said somewhat dejectedly, "Even Brother Feng said it's difficult, so it must be very difficult. It seems the third-class merit award is out of our reach."

Wu Hanfeng comforted him, "It's alright, if you can't get it, no one else can either."

Qian Kun: "...Brother Feng, you really know how to comfort people."

…………

While the various companies were conducting aiming training, a regimental 001 off-road vehicle drove in.

"Attention, everyone! Stand up!"

The four new recruits quickly stood up and stood ramrod straight!

The head of the firing range, the chief of the training section of the regiment, quickly ran to Li Cuicui, saluted, and loudly reported to his superior:

"Reporting to the regimental commander! The recruit company is preparing for its first live-fire exercise. Please give instructions!"

Li Cuicui returned the greeting: "At ease!"

Training Section Chief: "Yes, sir!"

Then he ran to the front of the main group and shouted, "At ease!"

Snapped.

More than 300 new recruits from four recruit companies all stuck their left feet out one-third of their feet.

Li Cuicui walked up to the new recruits, glanced around, and said, "Tell me about it!"

Snapped!

All new recruits stood at attention.

Li Cuicui returned the salute to the new recruits, "At ease!"

The new recruits stuck their left feet out again.

Li Cuicui announced loudly, "Today is your first live-fire exercise since entering the military camp!"

"I know you're all excited, and I'm looking forward to it too!"

"You've been training for almost a month now. As the saying goes, let's put them to the test!"

"I'm sure your company commander already told you that whoever scores a perfect score today will receive a third-class merit!"

"This isn't just talk, it's true!"

"Even if you don't get a perfect score, getting 99 points will still earn you a team commendation!"

"Tell me, do you want it?"

All three hundred-plus new recruits shouted in unison, "Yes! Yes! Yes!"

Li Cuicui: "Good! Excellent morale!"

"Now, I declare the first live-fire shooting assessment for the new recruits open!"

My daughter recovered, and now it's my turn to get sick.

I'm going to get an IV drip first, I'll come back later to continue writing.

There will definitely be updates before 12 o'clock.
