Chen An's hair has grown longer now, and after some styling, it's combed into a side-swept style. §.•´¨'°÷•..× ❻➈𝕊ᕼ𝓊𝔁.ςⓄᵐ ×,.•´¨'°÷•.§

His bronze skin and handsome features give him a mature look.

He hung the trench coat he was wearing on the sofa next to him, revealing the casual, fitted suit underneath.

He picked up the hot drink the waiter brought and drank it silently, waiting for Naomi to appear.

After asking the waiter if smoking was allowed, I lit one and waited idly.

Naomi reappeared only after she finished smoking a cigarette.

However, she had taken off her apron, tied her hair back up, and tidied her face, although she was still wearing the same jeans and t-shirt.

However, she still looks stunning.

Chen An, sitting in his seat, was a little stunned. "If it weren't for my sister making things so formal, I would feel embarrassed."

I was only tempted by your beauty; you make me feel ashamed of myself.

Especially since the other person kept fixing their hair while sitting in their seat, looking rather awkward.

"Actually, makeup won't affect your beauty," Chen An said, sitting on the sofa at the dining table.

Naomi took a sip of her coffee and replied happily, "Thank you for the compliment, Director, but it's still better to prepare more formally."

"I just happened to bring you a gift, your contract. Are you ready to sign it?" Chen An took out the contract from his pocket and handed it to Naomi across from him.

This is the contract Jerry gave himself, and also Naomi's role contract.

The pay isn't much, but it can alleviate her current financial pressure to some extent.

After all, he is one of the main characters.

Naomi excitedly took the contract and looked at it. When she saw the amount of the payment, she covered her mouth in excitement and looked at Chen An in disbelief.

Chen An nodded, indicating that she had not misread it.

"I don't think I'll give up this opportunity. Thank you for your choice, Director." Naomi placed the contract on the table and excitedly grabbed Chen An's hand to express her gratitude.

"No need to thank me. This success is the result of your own hard work and the accumulation of hundreds and thousands of days. I hope you will continue to work hard and live up to your years of perseverance."

"I will live up to my efforts." Naomi finished signing all three contracts and hugged her own copy tightly to her chest.

Chen An put away the remaining two portions, stood up, and put his trench coat back on.

Looking at Naomi sitting in front of her, she smiled and said, "Are you off work? Do you have time to go shopping with me? I haven't been here long and I'm not very familiar with the area yet."

As he spoke, he extended a hand to Naomi, who was sitting in her seat, inviting her to join him.

Naomi took out her left hand and gently grasped Chen An's right hand. She stood up, holding the contract in her right hand, and turned to look at her colleague next to her.

The waiter who brought Chen An a hot drink nodded slightly as he looked at Naomi.

After receiving consent, Naomi happily turned around, smiled, and said, "I think I have time to go shopping with you."

Having received a reply, Chen An withdrew his right hand, smiled, turned around, and walked out of the restaurant, with Naomi following behind.

Not long after stepping outside, Chen An hailed a taxi, invited Naomi to get in, and then went to Naomi's rented apartment.

The car stopped in front of an old apartment building, which looked rather dilapidated, as did the surrounding houses. This was a place Chen An had never set foot in before.

After giving the driver a tip, Chen An asked him to wait there for a while, and then stood downstairs at the apartment building to wait.

After Naomi got out of the car, she rushed upstairs. Chen An did not follow her but waited downstairs.

After Chen An chatted with the driver for a while and smoked two cigarettes together, Naomi slowly came downstairs and out.

Her golden hair was styled and fell behind her, with bangs parted in a 3/7 ratio. She wore light makeup, a beige pleated skirt, a beige trench coat (different color from Chen An's), a white scarf, white stockings, and black leather shoes.

She was beautiful and stunning.

Carrying a small bag, she walked up to Chen An, her red lips parted slightly: "Let's go, Director."

"My name is Chen An, you can just call me Chen," Chen An said softly, looking down into the other person's eyes.

Open the back door of the taxi for the other party and let them sit down first before getting into the car yourself.

After Naomi finished speaking with the driver, the car slowly drove away from the dilapidated city.

Led by the other party, the car eventually drove to a vast beach.

As soon as Chen An got off the bus, he felt the winter sea breeze and learned the name of this beautiful beach from the other person.

Located in Los Angeles, it's named Venice Beach. No wonder the beautiful country knows how to name things.

In December, the area is frequented by pedestrians and tourists of all skin colors.

In the middle of the beach, many couples gathered together, seeking portraits from the painter.

Many people also set up stalls in different parts of the beach and played music, but they were far apart and did not interfere with each other.

Before the two stood a bearded man who looked Italian, playing a violin with it resting on his shoulder, the music captivating.

The slow, leisurely pace is perfect for a winter beach.

"Let's take a walk, this is my favorite place," Naomi said quietly, standing next to Chen An.

She stood quietly, holding her bag in both hands, but because the annoying sea breeze kept blowing her carefully styled hair, she could only use her right hand to tidy it up and tuck it behind her ears.

Chen An offered his arm, which Naomi took and linked with his right hand, and the two walked together toward the beach.

As a popular tourist attraction, a path has been built along the coastline on the beach, where couples can walk together, just like the other couples around them.

The coastline stretched endlessly, and the two walked and talked.

A slightly mischievous sea breeze continuously blew through the golden hair around him, occasionally brushing against Chen An.

As he moved, Chen An felt the arm that was being held gradually being squeezed by force.

"When did you come to Hollywood, and why?" Chen An asked knowingly as he walked down the street.

Naomi, smoothing her hair, thought for a moment and replied, "It was a long time ago. I was very young then, and I wanted to try my luck in this world-famous movie city. So I left my hometown all by myself, with nothing."

"To become a big star?"

"I wanted to become a shining star like Audrey Hepburn, to let everyone see my performance, but reality is not like that. It's too difficult here. There are too many people like me who have been through this, as numerous as the grains of sand here." Namio seemed to be recalling her own experience.

What I thought would be a glittering journey turned out to be a narrow path where I couldn't see any hardship.

Without a stable source of income, and having drifted away from old friends, my days consist of nothing but self-encouragement, working odd jobs, and constantly seeking interview opportunities.

It seems insignificant in this vast city.

She didn't know why she persisted; her original ideas had long been worn away by her busy life.

"But you didn't give up, did you?" Chen An turned to look at Naomi, who seemed a little sad.

He then formally stated, "Failure is the norm in life, and only by persisting after failure can one achieve true success. Those who give up halfway are like grains of sand, while you are still persisting."

"Even if you've had a long and tiring day, you'll still make it to the interview location. If you don't persevere, you'll miss out on another opportunity."

"So all your efforts weren't in vain; at the very least, you seized one opportunity."

He then stopped, looked at Naomi beside him, and said nothing more.

Hearing Chen An's advice, the other person suddenly became happy, and smiled with his eyes crinkling and the corners of his mouth up: "Chen, you look so young, but it's strange that you say such mature things."

After saying that, she tilted her head and leaned on Chen An's shoulder, and continued walking forward.

Chen An touched his nose somewhat awkwardly: "Really?"

"Of course, but I like it very much."

Potato Master managed to squeeze out 500 words in five hours, while I can only squeeze out 100 words in an hour. Does that mean I am equal to Potato?
