Old Master Si went to bed early that night and had a dream.

In his dream, he stood in front of the old flower hall of the Si family manor.

The sunlight was perfect, and the lilies of the valley were in full bloom throughout the garden.

A very small child emerged from the flower bushes, with a fair and tender face, bright black eyes, wearing a light blue shirt, and stretching out his short little arms towards him.

"Great-Grandpa~" the child called out to him, his voice soft and slightly childish.

Old Master Si, who is usually very strong, was incredibly soft-hearted at this moment.

He crouched down and picked up the little one.

The child is not heavy and has a very faint fragrance.

He pressed his face close, and the child smiled, revealing two tiny, rice-grain-like teeth.

"Whose child are you?" Old Master Si asked.

The child tilted his head, clutching his clothes with his little hand, and said, "I'm from the Si family."

Grandpa Si suddenly opened his eyes; it was still dark outside the window.

He sat up, his heart pounding.

The soft, cuddly feeling from my dream is still there.

He reached out and pressed on the empty side of the bed, then slowly withdrew his hand.

He wondered if he was really getting old, having such a pathetic dream.

-

A small manor in the south of the city.

When Si Lin came out of the bathroom, she had already washed herself thoroughly.

Her hair was half-wet, and she wore a dark bathrobe draped over her shoulders.

The cold, hardened aura he had displayed in the club was gone, replaced by a faint, cool fragrance of shower gel.

He quietly pushed open the bedroom door, only to find the person on the bed already awake.

Ruan Tang lay on her side, a small lamp still lit beside her pillow.

She didn't turn on the main light, but pulled the blanket up to her chin, revealing half of her snow-white face.

Hearing the noise, she slowly turned her head, her eyes misty as she looked at him.

"Did I wake you up?" Si Lin asked in a low voice.

"Where did you go?" Ruan Tang's voice was soft and sleepy.

Si Lin walked over, sat down on the edge of the bed, reached out, placed his palm on her forehead, and then stroked her face.

"I'm going out to take care of something. You can go back to sleep."

"You're so cold," Ruan Tang whispered, but instead of moving away, she leaned closer to him.

Si Lin lifted the blanket and lay down, hugging her from behind, his arms encircling her waist, slowly tightening.

The little girl in his arms was soft and warm. The man lowered his head, resting his chin on her shoulder and his nose brushing against the back of her neck.

"Tangtang," he called her.

"Mmm." Her eyes were half-closed, and her voice became increasingly slurred.

"Even when I'm not around, you have to sleep well, okay?" he said.

The little girl looked a bit aggrieved. "But you haven't been coming back lately."

Si Lin's heart tightened, and he turned the person around to face him.

Her pajamas were slightly loose at the neckline, revealing her delicate white collarbone.

His gaze darkened, and he lowered his head to kiss her, first between her eyebrows, then on the tip of her nose, and finally on her lips.

Ruan Tang was dazed by his kisses, and her hand unconsciously gripped the front of his bathrobe.

Si Lin pressed his lips to hers and whispered, "Tangtang, I'll come back earlier from now on."

"Hmph, liar." Ruan Tang snorted, still unhappy.

Si Lin didn't say anything, but kissed him again.

His palm slid down her lower back and slowly slipped inside her clothes.

Ruan Tang took a deep breath, and her legs unconsciously bent.

Si Lin rolled over and pulled the person beneath him.

His shoulders and back were so broad that they blocked most of the light.

Ruan Tang could only see his tense jaw and dark eyes.

"Tangtang, stay with me tonight, okay?" He kissed her earlobe, his voice already hoarse.

Ruan Tang buried her face in the crook of his neck, her slender white arms slowly encircling his neck.

This is tacit approval.

Si Lin's breathing became heavier, and he gripped her waist without hesitation.

The night was extremely quiet, with only the occasional chirping of insects outside.

The window screen was blown up and then fell down by the wind, covering the shy sounds of lovemaking inside.
