Survival Game: Call Me an Honest Businessman

After selecting the task, Li Zhi discovered that the initial task reward of 1000 gold coins had been automatically transferred to his balance.

I was very unhappy about being forced to take on this task.

However, it must be said that the rewards for this task are actually quite generous.

These 1000 gold coins alone brought the first digit of her balance back up from 3 to 4.

In addition to the 1000 gold coins she lent to the official, her actual cash balance exceeded 5000 gold coins.

If you include fixed assets such as shelters, safe zones, and vehicles, as well as supplies and liabilities, her overall wealth would be a whole level higher.

There are only 20 days left until the next change in the wealth rankings.

She needs to work even harder to secure her position at the top of the racial wealth rankings.

The task I just received was very suitable.

A fixed stall would also become a fixed asset, and since she originally planned to open a shop to make money, it aligned with her original plan.

Moreover, tasks are tasks, but that doesn't prevent the money earned from being hers. In addition, the rewards for completing the previous level of tasks can be used to pave the way for the next level of tasks, allowing her to earn even more money.

This is what constitutes a virtuous cycle.

While Li Zhi was deep in thought, he also took the time to check the B-grade equipment set.

【Grade B Equipment Set (No Attribute Selected): You can choose any of the following attributes: Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, Earth, Wind, Ice. Once an attribute is selected, a set of equipment with that attribute will be automatically generated.】

A set only counts as one piece of equipment.

In other words, after she changes out of Master Odin's two dwarven clothes and puts on this set, she can still wear one more piece of equipment.

Li Zhi chose the wind attribute without hesitation.

Running fast is more important than anything else.

[Wind attribute B-grade set successfully generated]

[Wind Realm:]

Grade: B

Category: Set

Attribute: Wind

characteristic:

1. You are in the eye of the storm, creating a tornado with a wind speed of 500% of your speed. The tornado automatically forms a defensive shield and moves you 200 meters in a designated direction. It can be used once every 12 hours.

2. When an enemy approaches within 30 meters of you, you will automatically absorb 30% of their speed for 3 seconds.

Note: Adds 500 points of defense.

Divine equipment!

Li Zhi immediately took off his cropped t-shirt and shorts, put on the Wind Realm outfit, and then put on two cloaks, feeling a strong sense of security!

She turned her attention to the last reward.

An agreement that can be used as the highest stake should be somewhat useful.

[Merchant's Mandatory Agreement Signing: You may draft any agreement that relates only to a transaction. This agreement is valid for one year from the effective date and may designate another merchant to sign it. That merchant may not refuse. (Warning: Transactions are reciprocal; unilateral robbery and extortion will invalidate the contract.)]

Li Zhi's lips twitched when he saw the line in parentheses.

That's pure prejudice!

Is she that kind of person?

However, this agreement was indeed very useful. In just a moment, Li Zhi had already thought of several ways to use it.

As she calculated how to use the resources at her disposal to make money from the orcs as quickly as possible, the Wilderness Market was thrown into minor chaos by her disappearance.

After probing the edge of the barrier several times, the domain finally confirmed that this was a safe protection zone.

Domain: "She's a merchant; she probably sensed something was wrong and teleported back."

Nightwing's expression shifted between light and dark: "This new race has some nerve, daring to run away."

As soon as she finished speaking, Li Zhi appeared in the safe zone.

"...You dare to come back?"

Nightwing's expression and tone were very strange.

Li Zhi raised his hand: "Wait a moment."

She opened the career panel and clicked "Upgrade Fixed Stall" under the stall status section.

[Wilderness Market's free stalls are being upgraded...]

Upgrade successful

[Is a business license required?]

"Need not."

Li Zhi planned to use the business license at his physical store in the Emerald Mountains.

But the plans couldn't keep up with the changes.

If she completes the Wilderness Market mission but the shop in the Emerald Mountains hasn't opened yet, she'll likely use her business license at the Beast Market or the Beast Alliance Market.

In this way, she will still have a business license that she can use at any time.

But no matter what, she wouldn't use it at the wilderness market; it would be too wasteful.

Li Zhi took back the pile of ore and replaced it with a three-square-meter animal hide tent, which contained a chair and a table that could be pushed out.

She pushed the table to the tent entrance, smiled at the several pairs of eyes staring in her direction, and said, "My shop is officially open for business today, welcome!"

Nightwing's tone was unfriendly: "Didn't you hear me say that the High Prince of the Feathered Spirit Clan wants to see you?"

Li Zhi arranged the oats, dried meat, salt, and wood on the table: "I don't know the Crown Prince of the Feathered Spirit Clan, and I don't know if what you're saying is true or false. What if you impersonate the Crown Prince of the Feathered Spirit Clan to lure me out and then try to kill me? If you want me to go with you, you'll have to prove that what you're saying is true."

Nightwing's face darkened: "How do you expect me to prove it?"

Li Zhi: "That's your problem. You need to find a way to make me believe that these words really came from the Crown Prince of the Feather Spirit Clan, and that you're spreading rumors."

Li Zhi had thought about this question before returning to the wilderness market.

After all, Nightwing and the Feather Alliance are eyeing this place covetously, and leaving it unresolved is not a solution.

She could use the "Cheat Cloak" to keep moving around, but since she has the one-time talent card "Mark," there's no guarantee that others could use similar items on her as well.

In particular, nobles of higher races wanted to deal with her.

Even with Li Zhi's still incomplete understanding of this world, she could imagine how many ways the other party could kill her if they really wanted to.

Nightwing is under the command of the Feathered Spirit Clan. The best solution is to find someone who can be on equal footing with, or even higher in status than, the Feathered Spirit Clan's Crown Prince to act as a mediator and resolve the matter.

Li Zhi actually had someone in mind.

But apart from Ling, everyone else owes her a favor.

She didn't want to incur any favors or use up the favors she had received from Ling.

Moreover, Ling's status was awkward, and having her speak might have the opposite effect, so Li Zhi decided to use a delaying tactic first.

Anyway, as long as the eldest prince of the Feather Spirit Clan still has any sense of shame, he would never come to find her in person.

She sent Nightwing away first, saying they'd deal with it another time.

Li Zhi smiled and said, "Excuse me, could you please move aside? You're blocking my customers' way."

Nightwing suddenly turned around, wanting to see who dared to interfere with her affairs at this time.

Mi, his beard twitching and shoulders hunched, forced a fawning smile: "My people and I desperately need oats and timber to survive this cold snap. Please, gentlemen, have mercy and let me buy some things to take back with me."

Nightwing looked at Mi with displeasure, about to speak, when Li Zhi's delighted voice interrupted her:

"Oh, Mi! My dear friend! I knew that with our friendship, you would support my business. Sure enough, you were the first to step forward. For the sake of our friendship, I will definitely give you the best price! May our friendship last forever!"
