The next morning, Sato Miwako opened the door to the lounge and stretched.

I felt refreshed and my steps were much lighter.

She walked over to the bar and saw that Akemi Miyano had already arrived and was wiping cups while wearing an apron.

Akemi looked up at her and smiled, "Good morning, Miwako. Did you sleep well last night?"

Sato Miwako nodded, answering quite readily, "Extremely well, I slept very soundly!"

Mingmei looked her up and down, her smile widening: "I can see that your skin looks different; it's much more moisturized now."

Sato Miwako paused, then touched her face. "This...you can even tell from this?"

Akemi nodded: "Of course I can tell."

Sato Miwako suddenly felt a little embarrassed, leaned closer, and asked in a low voice, "So...am I being a bit lecherous?"

Mingmei laughed as soon as she heard that: "What do you mean? This is perfectly normal."

As she wiped the cup, she said, "I was like that at first too. You get used to it, it's normal, it'll get better after a while."

Upon hearing this, Sato Miwako's slight unease vanished instantly, and she breathed a sigh of relief: "That's good. I was worried that I might have gone a bit too far."

She stood by the bar and chatted with Akemi for a few more minutes about women's gossip. The conversation became increasingly unrestrained, and she even let out a low, ambiguous laugh.

Seeing that it was getting late, Sato Miwako said goodbye to Akemi and left the coffee shop to go to work.

Five or six minutes later, Lin Shen slowly walked out of the lounge.

He pressed one hand to his lower back, a hint of helplessness on his face: "Sigh, I was interrogated by Officer Sato all night, my back is sore."

Seeing his expression, Mingmei raised an eyebrow in surprise: "Hmm? You can't even handle Mr. Lin?"

Lin Shen walked to the bar, poured himself a glass of water, and took a sip. "That's a policeman, and he knows judo too. He's not easy to deal with."

He put down his cup. "Plus, she's been holding back for years, and now that she's unleashed her full power, my back really can't take it anymore."

And I lost more than 20 points of health!!

He spoke with such seriousness that Mingmei couldn't help but laugh: "It's rare to see Mr. Lin suffer a loss in this regard."

Lin Shen put down his cup and smiled, "Well, there's nothing I can do about it. It's a rare opportunity to not have to do anything myself, so I'm not afraid of taking a little loss."

As the two were chatting casually, footsteps came from the entrance of the coffee shop.

Mingmei turned around and looked back, somewhat surprised.

It was only a little past nine o'clock, and the shop had just opened. How come there were already customers? Nevertheless, she greeted them with a smile: "Good morning, welcome. Please have a seat."

Lin Shen had originally planned to go out and find a place to have breakfast, but when he turned around and saw who it was, he stopped in his tracks.

Heiji Hattori and Kazuha Toyama arrived.

Why did these two people come all the way from Osaka to here?

Kazuha walked into the shop, looked around, and muttered speechlessly, "Hey Heiji, did we come all the way from Osaka to Tokyo just to check out this cafe?"

"I don't see anything special about it."

Heiji stood beside her, his gaze sweeping over the decorations on the wall, his tone confident: "You wouldn't understand, would you? 221B Cafe, ever heard of it?"

"Any detective enthusiast would know this place."

"But it's a proper detective-themed cafe."

As he spoke, he found a seat by the window and sat down.

Kazuha sat down opposite him, flipped open the menu, and exclaimed, "Wow, the coffee here is so expensive! Over two thousand yen a cup?"

Heiji chuckled, looking confident: "No problem! I checked the guide. This shop has a rule that if you can guess the riddle, you can drink coffee for free."

After he finished speaking, he turned and looked around, his gaze settling on Lin Shen standing near the bar. He said, "I checked the guide; you're the manager of this restaurant, right?"

Lin Shen never expected that he would become part of the strategy guide.

He smiled and said, "That's right, it's me."

Upon hearing this, Heiji immediately said, "Then give me a riddle, and I'll guess it."

Lin Shen waved his hand: "No need. You're Hattori Heiji, the famous high school detective in Osaka, how could you not answer those simple reasoning questions?"

"Order whatever you like, this meal is on me."

Upon hearing this, Kazuha's eyes immediately lit up: "Heiji! I didn't expect him to know you!"

"Great! Then I won't stand on ceremony!"

Heiji was also a little surprised, but he quickly put on a smug expression and said without any politeness, "Looks like my fame has spread all the way to Tokyo."

As he spoke, he unceremoniously ordered a cup of black coffee.

After ordering coffee, Heiji casually sat down next to Lin Shen and asked with a curious expression, "President, what kind of mystery novels do you usually like to read?"

Lin Shen was eating a piece of toast when he heard the question. He pointed to the figure who had just pushed the door open and said, "Detective novels? You'll have to talk to Conan about that. He'd definitely be happy to discuss it with you."

Heiji followed his finger and saw Conan walking in behind Ran.

His eyes lit up immediately upon hearing the name "Conan," and he quickly moved closer: "Conan? That's a great name!! Did your parents name you that? What's your full name?"

Conan was taken aback by the question posed by the dark-skinned high school student who suddenly appeared.

Ran stood next to Conan, looking at the unfamiliar boy, and asked Lin Shen with some curiosity, "President, may I ask who this is?"

Lin Shen took a bite of his toast and answered casually, "Heiji Hattori, a high school detective from Osaka."

Xiao Lan understood immediately upon hearing this.

No wonder she had a strong sense of déjà vu the moment this person walked in.

His speaking speed and his fervent passion for deduction were exactly the same as Shinichi's.

He's a spitting image of "Shinichi Osaka".

Meanwhile, Kazuha found herself completely unable to join the conversation.

Heiji and Conan have already started chatting. The two of them are talking back and forth, from classic detective stories to social realism, from locked-room mysteries to impossible crimes.

Kazuha stood to the side, unable to understand a word or get a word in edgewise, and could only stand there dumbfounded.

Xiaolan felt a strong sense of familiarity when she saw this scene!

She walked up to Kazuha and greeted her, "Hello, I'm Ran Mouri. You came from Osaka with Hattori-kun, right?"

Hearing someone speak, Kazuha quickly turned around, nodding repeatedly as if grasping at a lifeline: "Yes, yes, my name is Kazuha Toyama."

"That clueless detective forgets all about me the moment the topic turns to detective stories! It's infuriating!"

Seeing her like that, Xiaolan laughed even harder: "I understand, I understand. Just like Shinichi, when they talk about cases, they're like they've been injected with chicken blood."

He Ye nodded repeatedly, and the two of them quickly struck up a conversation.

Kazuha was naturally lively, and Ran was also an outgoing person. The two chatted about everything from school to whether the food in Tokyo was good or not, and they got more and more excited as they talked.

Lin Shen hadn't expected the coffee shop to be so lively so early in the morning.

He finished breakfast and was about to go back for a nap when Heiji suddenly ran over, his face beaming with excitement: "President Hayashi! Conan said your deductive reasoning skills are pretty strong too!"

"You're no less than Shinichi Kudo! I challenge you!"

Upon hearing this, Lin Shen glanced at Conan.

Conan sat on the sofa with a slight smile on his lips, his tone quite natural: "In the Tokyo bombing a few days ago, the president was the first to decipher the code."

Upon hearing this, Heiji's eyes lit up instantly, and he practically leaped into action: "Really? That's fantastic!"

"President, accept my challenge! Let's see who has the better reasoning skills!"

Lin Shen originally wanted to find an excuse to decline.

But then I thought, Tokyo just finished that big crackdown recently, and there's a lot of activity going on everywhere, so I might as well just sit around doing nothing.

Instead of staying alone, I'd rather go and see what's going on.

He nodded: "Okay, I happen to have some time recently."

Heiji was overjoyed to see that he agreed so readily and immediately said, "Great! Just in time, I received a request from Mermaid Island!!"
