For the next period of time, Chen An kept a close eye on Black Wolf's every move, since both sides no longer had Yuris and Green in charge.

The weapons were quickly obtained by Black Wolf's men, and batches of them were transported to the base without any effort.

Chen An's mouth watered at the sight. There were several Black Hawk and Apache helicopters alone, as well as a large number of armored vehicles and tanks of various models, not to mention the countless firearms, equipment, and ammunition.

Among them were several pieces of equipment he had never seen before, including a bulletproof suit made of high-density materials and some magnetic bombs that could be fired and attached to nearby metal, and could be detonated by pressing a switch!

Chen An was naturally very interested in these things, so he asked Black Wolf for them. As for the sale of these weapons, that was not his concern; he left it entirely to Black Wolf to handle. However, he would have to wait for the money to arrive.

It is now 6 p.m.

Chen An stood in the dressing room, looking in the mirror and observing the bulletproof suit he was wearing. It was not only comfortable to wear, but also very breathable. It fit him better than a regular suit and was bulletproof!

"Brother! Are you done yet? We need to get going."

Chen Wan's shouts could be heard from outside.

Upon hearing this, Chen An replied, "Coming!"

He then slowly walked out of the dressing room and into the living room. His gaze swept around and he saw Chen Wan, Emily, and Carl standing there.

Emily and Chen Wan were dressed in exquisite gowns, while Carl wore a suit, though his muscular physique made him look somewhat bulky.

"Boss, you look so handsome today!" Karl said, glancing at Chen Wan.

Chen An smiled slightly, "Really? I think so too."

"Show off, let's go, bro!" Chen Wan rolled her eyes, grabbed her birthday present, and walked out of the house, with the other three following closely behind.

The four traveled to the estate in a Mercedes-Benz S680 to attend Ida's birthday party.

........

In Los Angeles, in front of a manor in an affluent neighborhood, luxury cars drove in, and dignitaries stepped out.

Director Brandon stood aside to personally greet her, while Eve stood beside him, looking around as if expecting something.

Soon, a Mercedes-Benz S680 caught Eve's attention. A smile appeared on her lips, and she quickly walked over.

Seeing his daughter like this, Brandon followed.

As Eve approached, Chen An and his three companions got out of the car and spotted her immediately.

"Good evening, Eve," Chen An greeted her with a smile.

Eve nodded happily, "Good evening, Chen An, and Sister Chen Wan."

"Chen An, you're here," Brandon said as he stepped forward.

Chen An smiled and said, "You've arrived. I didn't expect it to be Director Brandon who personally came out to greet you. It's truly an honor."

"It's nothing. Eve, you take Chen An and the others inside first. I still need to entertain a few friends here," Brandon said.

"Okay, Chen An, come with me." Eve said, leading the way. Chen An and the others greeted Brandon and then left.

As Chen An walked along, he looked around. This manor was really huge; it could almost be called a castle. It had facilities like a horse farm and a golf course built inside, showcasing luxury to the fullest!

"Chen An, my cousin Ada is still in the dressing room and won't be out for a while. We can chat here for a bit, grab something to eat, and if we know anyone, we can talk to them. It'll be very helpful."

"Everyone here today is a big shot. There are Grandpa Ada's friends in the military, Dad Ada's business partners, and even some A-list celebrities."

As Eve recounted her story, Chen An's expression shifted.

I didn't expect to meet Ada's grandfather so soon. I wonder what he looks like.

Soon, they arrived at a banquet hall, where guests gathered in twos and threes, raising their glasses and chatting and laughing.

Chen An's arrival did attract some attention, but they mostly focused their attention on Eve.

They didn't pay much attention to the other four.

After all, Chen An looked unfamiliar, and given his Asian features, my intuition was that he was a friend who had come with Eve.

However, some people recognized Chen An as the owner of S.H.I.E.L.D. security companies, including Wayne, the owner of Cobra Security, Gordon of Five Star Security, and consultant Lawless.

"So you're Mr. Chen, the owner of S.H.I.E.L.D. security company, and Mr. Carl, the person in charge. Hello." Wayne stepped forward and shook hands with him in a very familiar manner.

Upon seeing this, Chen An was taken aback at first, then smiled and shook hands with him. "I know you, Mr. Wayne from Cobra Security Company. We're in the same industry."

"Not at all, Mr. Chen's S.H.I.E.L.D. security company has become quite famous lately. Even the police department has been broadcasting news about you and you've received commendations."

"It's just work. Security companies are there to protect the people involved. We're just doing our job," Chen An said with a faint smile.

"Would you like to have a drink?" Wayne invited.

Chen An readily agreed, "No problem."

Then he turned to Chen Wan and said, "Little sister, you and Eve go for a walk. I'm going to have a drink with Mr. Wayne. Carl, come with me."

Carl nodded, then followed Wayne toward the nearby sofa, Gordon's gaze remaining fixed on Chen An.

For some reason, the other person looked thin and weak, yet gave him a feeling of unease that grew stronger the closer he got.

"Hey! Gordon, what are you daydreaming about? The boss is already long gone." Lawrence nudged him from the side.

Gordon shook his head. "It's nothing, I just feel that the boss of this S.H.I.E.L.D. security company is not simple."

Rollis asked in confusion, "Really? Why can't I see anything about him? He seems like just an ordinary kid, not even as old as us, yet he runs a security company. I wonder if he's capable of it."

Gordon rolled his eyes at him. "SHIELD Security is the most famous security company besides us right now, and you actually doubt their capabilities!"

As he spoke, Gordon walked towards the boss.

Seeing this, Lawrence's face turned ugly. For some reason, he felt uncomfortable the moment he saw Chen An, and he didn't know why.

On the other side, Chen An and Wayne sat facing each other, drinking red wine, chatting about interesting things, and laughing from time to time. The atmosphere was very harmonious.

"Mr. Chen, I think we might have some collaboration in the future. Let's exchange contact information so it'll be easier to talk if needed," Wayne said.

After listening, Chen An nodded, "No problem."

Seeing this, Karl, who was standing next to him, took out a business card that he had prepared in advance from his pocket, and Chen An reached out and took it and handed it to the other party.

Then he accepted the business card from the other party.

"Mark Ann, what a coincidence." Suddenly a familiar voice came, Chen An's expression changed, and he turned his head to see Major Vincent walking over.

The moment Karl saw the other person, anger surged within him!
