The voluptuous and beautiful nanny, Technician Shen fell for her.
Chapter 95 You think you can get rid of me with a few dollars?
"They don't even lock the door properly; they've become bolder."
Shen Huai walked in and placed the net on the table.
"I locked the door." Su Nianhe sat on the bed without moving, her hand still pressing the cloth bag. "How come you still have time to come?"
"I was thinking of you, but I'll be leaving soon." Shen Huai walked over and looked down at her, his gaze falling on the hand she was covering.
"Why are you covering yourself up so tightly? To keep me away?" he said casually, pulling over a small stool and sitting down with his long legs spread wide, effectively trapping her in the corner of the bed.
Su Nianhe's face flushed, and she moved her hand away. "I wasn't expecting you; I was just counting money."
Sold out?
"Yeah, it's all sold out." Su Nianhe couldn't help but share with him, "Section Chief Li even helped us chase away the troublemakers. That old lady was trying to overturn our stall."
Shen Huai listened, his elbows resting on his knees, not surprised at all.
"He arrived at just the right time."
Su Nianhe knew that Li Tiejun's visit was not a coincidence, but rather something Shen Huai had arranged, or rather, Li Tiejun's presence was because of the lotus flower.
"Thank you," she said honestly.
Shen Huai wasn't buying into empty words of thanks.
He stretched out one hand, palm up.
"Boss Su, a verbal thank you isn't enough. Let's settle the security fee and the 'smooth operation' fee."
Looking at his large hands, Su Nianhe genuinely thought he wanted money.
She gritted her teeth, pulled a ten-yuan note from her cloth bag, and handed it over. "Is ten yuan enough?"
Shen Huai looked at the green ten-yuan bill and laughed in exasperation.
He grabbed her wrist and pulled her forward.
Su Nianhe lost her balance and fell directly into his arms, her chin hitting his firm chest.
"You think you can get rid of me for ten yuan?" Shen Huai's large hand pressed down on her lower back, holding her firmly. "Is that all you're worth in your eyes?"
Su Nianhe pressed her hands against him, and could feel the hard muscles under his short sleeves.
"How much do you want?" Her voice softened.
Shen Huai lowered his head, his nose brushing against her neck, inhaling the increasingly distinct fragrance emanating from her.
"Everything on you, from head to toe, was provided by me," Shen Huai whispered hoarsely in her ear. "Even your stall was taken care of by someone I had arranged. You think you can give a beggar ten dollars?"
Su Nianhe felt an itch on her neck from his hot breath and turned her head to try to avoid it.
"So how do you want to settle this?"
"Pay with your body." Shen Huai uttered two words, bluntly stating everything.
Su Nianhe's face turned bright red, and she pushed his shoulders with both hands.
Shen Huai ignored her protests, grabbed her chin, turned his head and kissed her.
Su Nianhe was breathless from the kiss, her hands weakly clinging to his shoulders, the ten-yuan note in her hand long since fallen onto the mat.
The warmth of the man's hand penetrated through her thin clothes, making half of her body stiffen.
After a long while, Shen Huai finally stopped what he was doing.
He pressed his forehead against hers, his fingertips wiping away the moisture from the corner of her lips.
"Put this away for now," Shen Huai said in a deep voice. "Go wash your hands and eat."
Panting heavily, Su Nianhe obediently got up and ran to the kitchen to wash her hands.
When she returned, Shen Huai had already laid out the aluminum lunchboxes on the table.
The state-run restaurant packed braised pork, stir-fried pork slices, and a large box of white rice.
All of them were hearty dishes.
Su Nianhe sat down, picked up her chopsticks, and looked at the bowl of braised pork.
"Why did you buy so much meat today?"
"Didn't you make some money? Let's celebrate." Shen Huai picked up a piece of meat with alternating layers of fat and lean and put it in her bowl. "Eat more. With your small frame, you'll be exhausted after just two days of work."
Su Nianhe didn't argue and obediently ate the meat.
She was indeed hungry; after standing for so long in the afternoon, everything tasted delicious now.
After finishing her meal, the sweet fruity scent emanating from Su Nianhe grew stronger.
Shen Huai sat opposite her, his gaze falling on her cheeks, which were flushed from eating.
"He Jianjun will be back from the south in a couple of days," Shen Huai said, getting down to business. "I've told him to bring the goods directly to the yard. How much are you planning to take this time?"
Su Nianhe put down her chopsticks and began to seriously consider her options.
"I want to invest all the money I earned today," she said, becoming bolder. "I'll buy two hundred yuan worth of goods."
Shen Huai nodded, somewhat satisfied with her decisiveness.
"Sure. But with a larger stock, we can't just rely on the two of you selling them retail at the factory gate. These hair accessories will last a long time," Shen Huai advised her. "We need to find distributors."
"Distribution?" Su Nianhe didn't understand.
"It's about letting others sell for you and you make the difference," Shen Huai patiently explained. "You've taken over the south gate of the textile factory, but you can't manage the other factories in Jiang City. You can wholesale the hair accessories to other people who want to set up stalls. You make one cent per hair accessory, and you can make money the same way if you buy in bulk."
Su Nianhe's mind was racing.
This is a good method; you don't have to work in the wind and sun, and you can still make money.
"Then I'll go talk to Lianhua tomorrow and decide then," Su Nianhe said, having come up with an idea.
Seeing that she understood immediately, Shen Huai stood up and began to tidy up the lunchboxes on the table.
"I've already asked someone to handle the license issue." Shen Huai stacked the empty lunchboxes together. "The city management is cracking down these days, so be careful when you set up your stall at the factory gate. If they come to check, just pack up and leave. Don't get into a conflict with them."
Su Nianhe followed behind, helping to get chopsticks.
"I know, Section Chief Li mentioned it today as well."
"He has ulterior motives." Shen Huai suddenly turned around and stood in the kitchen doorway.
Su Nianhe almost bumped into him and quickly stopped.
"What's wrong?"
"He's got his eye on Li Lianhua." Shen Huai mercilessly exposed his brother's secret.
Su Nianhe opened her eyes wide.
"Really? Section Chief Li has taken a liking to Lotus?"
Shen Huai took the chopsticks from her hand and casually pinned her against the doorframe. "Don't worry about other people's business; take care of yourself."
Su Nianhe was amused by his domineering manner.
"I've taken care of myself; I've checked all the goods and counted the money."
"There's still one thing I haven't managed well." Shen Huai lowered his head.
"What?"
"That was the interest," Shen Huai said, his lips brushing against hers. "Now, pay the principal."
Su Nianhe's mind was in a mess, and her hands subconsciously gripped the fabric on both sides of his shirt, her nails almost digging into his flesh.
Shen Huai paused.
He immediately sensed that something was wrong with the person in his arms. The tense shoulders and the resistance they were exerting couldn't lie.
He didn't kiss her any further, nor did he force her. He simply withdrew his hand and pulled her into his arms, resting his chin on the top of her head.
"What's wrong?" Shen Huai's voice was still hoarse.
Su Nianhe buried her face in his chest, remaining silent for a long time, her hands still gripping his clothes tightly.
"Shen Huai," Su Nianhe suddenly asked softly, "Why do you always kiss and hug me?"
Upon hearing this question, Shen Huai chuckled softly, the sound of his chest resonating so loudly that Su Nianhe's ears went numb.
"You're my girlfriend, if I don't kiss and hug you, who else should I kiss?"
"That's not what I meant." Su Nianhe's voice was even softer, with a thick nasal tone. "You...you're just after my looks and figure, aren't you?"
The question was direct, yet it carried a hint of cowardly timidity.
