Shen Huai turned and walked out. Once in the courtyard, he opened the wooden door.

Su Nianhe followed him out and watched him push the bicycle out.

"Go inside and lock the door." Shen Huai got into the car, his long legs bracing against the ground.

Su Nianhe locked the door in front of him.

At 6:30, there was a knock on the courtyard gate.

Li Tiejun's rough voice came through the door.

"Su-meizi, are you awake yet?"

Su Nianhe quickly ran over to open the door.

Li Tiejun was wearing a security guard uniform and carrying a net bag containing two large meat buns and an aluminum box of soy milk.

"That old Shen guy came knocking on my dorm door late at night, telling me to go to the state-run restaurant in the morning to line up for meat buns, and vegetarian ones weren't allowed." "Lianhua likes sweets. She's mentioned the White Rabbit milk candy sold at the Jiang City Department Store several times, but she thinks it's too expensive and can't bring herself to buy it."

Li Tiejun laughed after hearing this.

"Okay, I got it. Go back to your room and have breakfast."

Li Tiejun strode away, looking quite happy from behind.

After finishing breakfast, Su Nianhe tidied herself up and headed straight for the municipal party committee compound.
