The doors of the underground train slowly opened, and a blast of air mixed with the smells of metal, disinfectant, and the unique odor of a confined space rushed out.

Lu Ze was the first to step out of the carriage, the faint blue light emanating from the Night Stone in his hand illuminating the empty platform ahead.

The gray-white anti-static floor, the neatly arranged pipe system on the wall, and the air circulators in the corner of the ceiling that have stopped working all exude an industrial feel from the late 1990s.

"A very classic underground facility style."

Silver Wolf jumped off the train, her silver-gray Roman curls bouncing a few times with her movement.

She raised her hand to activate the scanner, and a holographic interface unfolded before her eyes, beginning to search for the surrounding signal environment.

"Their self-developed encryption protocols are everywhere, even the control signals for the air circulation system are encrypted," Silver Wolf said speechlessly. These people really have money to burn.

Black Tower was the last to slowly step off the train, yawning slightly as he lazily glanced around.

She clearly had little interest in this low-tech underground facility.

Qi Lin stood beside Lu Ze, holding the Glock 17, her eyes scanning every corner of the platform warily.

At the end of the platform is a huge metal door, more than ten meters high, smooth as a mirror, without any gaps or joints, as if the entire door was cut from a single piece of metal.

Only a palm-sized holographic recognition panel is embedded on the right side of the door frame.

The panel is dark gray, indicating that it is in standby mode.

Lu Ze walked to the door and looked around. The airtight design reminded him of the entrances to some military bases.

"This should be the main entrance, right?"

Silver Wolf stepped forward and lightly swiped his slender fingertips across the holographic panel.

The panel lit up immediately, projecting a light blue holographic interface with a simple prompt.

Biometric authentication requires:

Iris scanning, fingerprint recognition, and gene sequence sampling.

She stared at the three options for two seconds, then scoffed.

"Iris? Fingerprint? Genes? These people are quite security-conscious."

As she spoke, a blue stream of data flowed from her bracelet, wrapping around the panel as if it were alive.

"Give me thirty seconds, and I'll bypass their authentication protocol and go straight through the back door," Silver Wolf said confidently.

Lu Ze stood quietly to the side, waiting.

Five seconds, ten seconds, twenty seconds passed.

Silver Wolf's brows furrowed, his gray pupils reflecting the constantly fluctuating data stream, and his fingertips rapidly tapping on the virtual keyboard.

Thirty seconds.

She withdrew her hand, her brows furrowing into a knot.

"No way?" Lu Ze's tone carried a hint of surprise.

Is there a system that can stump the Wolf Lord, Punk Lord?

"The Red Queen has locked this door." Silver Wolf's tone was filled with resentment.

Of course, it's not completely impossible to open. While conventional methods are blocked, it's still possible to force it open using Ethereum editing—although doing so would be considered cheating.

"The only way to get through this door is through physical blasting, and even Red Queen herself can't open it now." Silver Wolf was at a loss.

"How about I just have them cut a hole in it?"

Lu Ze pulled out the long-absent Du'e flying sword from his pocket. The sword shrank to the size of a brooch in his palm, gleaming with a faint golden light.

"Hmm~ Have you forgotten our promise?"

Silver Wolf stood with his hands on his hips, glaring at him angrily, his expression as if his teammate had used a cheat code to skip his favorite level.

"Then what do you suggest we do? We can't just stay here forever." Lu Ze awkwardly put away Du'e and scratched his head as he asked.

Silver Wolf's gaze swept across the three faces, finally settling on Lu Ze:

"In theory, Umbrella's highest-ranking executives have unrestricted access rights. Their biometrics are marked as unavoidable entries on the Red Queen's whitelist. The problem is—"

"We don't have such a thing," Qi Lin finished the sentence for her.

Silver Wolf shrugged, which was taken as tacit agreement.

For a moment, the group fell into a brief silence.

Only the flickering electrical hum of the few fluorescent tubes overhead echoed in the empty underground space.

Just then, Black Tower slowly walked out from behind the crowd, went straight to the huge metal door, and stretched out his fair palm to press on the cold alloy surface.

The pale blue light patterns on the bracelet flickered slightly.

A series of dull mechanical whirring sounds emanated from inside the massive metal door, as if something inside was being rearranged.

All those complex biometric locks, authorization verifications, and encrypted signal protocols become meaningless in the face of atomic-level reconstruction.

Silver Wolf and Lu Ze both looked at her.

"What are you doing, old woman?" Silver Wolf asked urgently.

"What am I doing? Opening the door, of course. You can't open it, so I'll do it myself." Black Tower wasn't like Lu Ze, always giving in to her.

They were already at the door, yet they were still dawdling for ages; her patience had long since worn thin.

Boom!

The heavy metal door made a low rumble as it slowly opened to both sides.

A stream of cold white mist gushed out from the crack in the door, cascading down to everyone's feet like a waterfall.

Silver Wolf opened his mouth, intending to curse Black Tower, but ultimately swallowed the words back.

The Black Tower seems to have no obligation to indulge her.
