The Secret of the Yoga Club: The Women's Identity is Not Simple
Chapter 12 Entering the Hotel to Find Teacher Zhou
Today I'm wearing a burgundy silk shirt, with the top button undone at the collar, revealing a small section of my collarbone.
As she stood up, the fabric clung to her upper body, clearly outlining the full contours of her chest.
The shirt was tucked into a black suit skirt, which was cinched at the waist and fell just below the knee. Her calves, encased in black stockings, had straight and smooth lines.
She carried a small, off-white crossbody bag, the strap dangling from her arm. With her other hand, she casually brushed aside the hair that fell over her shoulder, the ends resting on her collarbone.
Her makeup was the same as usual, very light, with a dark red lipstick on her lips that matched the color of her shirt.
His expression was indifferent, revealing no emotion.
The other car door opened, and another female teacher got out. Lin Feng thought she looked familiar, but he didn't recognize her.
She was a bit older than Zhou Mei, around forty years old, wearing a blue dress. She was rather plump, with a round face and a smile. After getting out of the car, she looked up at the hotel entrance.
Ms. Wu exchanged a few words with that teacher, and then the three of them walked together toward the hotel's revolving door. Zhou Mei walked on the far side, her pace neither too fast nor too slow.
As I passed through the brightest part of the porch, the burgundy shirt became even more vibrant under the light, and the subtle patterns on the fabric at the chest swayed slightly with my steps.
The doorman opened the revolving door, and the three people went in one after another.
Lin Feng sat by the flower bed, watching Zhou Mei's figure disappear into the revolving door.
My legs got a little numb from sitting, so I stomped my feet a couple of times.
What should we do now?
Should we rush in to find Teacher Zhou? That seems a bit risky.
No, we still need to go inside first.
Lin Feng stood by the flower bed and looked towards the hotel's main entrance for about half a minute. The revolving door turned slowly, and warm yellow light shone from the lobby onto the red carpet at the entrance.
After quickly tidying himself up, he tried to appear calm and walked towards the hotel entrance. Fortunately, the doorman only glanced at him a few times and did not stop him.
He said, "Good evening, sir!"
Lin Feng nodded, gave a soft "hmm," and then strode into the hall.
The lobby was even more spacious than it appeared from the outside. The ceiling was very high, and a crystal chandelier hung in the center, its light shining on the marble floor, making the entire lobby dazzlingly bright.
The reception desk is on the left, with three uniformed staff members standing behind it. On the right is a lounge area with several sets of dark brown leather sofas.
The elevator lobby is located in the corridor directly opposite the main lobby.
Lin Feng glanced around, but there was no sign of Fu Yongwei and his group in the lobby.
They should have already gone upstairs.
He walked to the rest area, sat down on a single sofa, took out his phone, and continued to pretend to swipe the screen, while his mind was thinking about his next move.
I sat there for about three minutes.
A staff member in a black uniform walked over from the front desk, smiling and bowing slightly: "Hello sir, are you waiting for someone or do you need to check in?"
Lin Feng put down his phone, smiled at her, and said, "I'm waiting for someone; they should be here soon."
The staff member nodded, asked no further questions, and turned back to the front desk.
There was no scene like in the novel where the protagonist, looking poor, is kicked out by the staff.
Sitting for long periods of time is also not good.
All we know for now is that they're in private rooms on the second floor; we can't exactly open each room one by one to see them.
As Lin Feng was thinking of a solution, he suddenly noticed an inconspicuous passageway on the side of the front desk.
There was a sign hanging there.
"Safe passage".
You can walk up the stairs to the second floor.
Never mind that for now, let's go up and check the situation first. Lin Feng stood up from the sofa, walked slowly to the entrance of the passage, made sure no one was paying attention to him, and then pushed the door open and went in.
The emergency exit is a concrete staircase with whitewashed walls. You walk up the stairs.
Once on the second floor, push open the door to the emergency exit.
The corridor was long and covered with dark carpets that felt soft underfoot—truly befitting a luxury hotel.
On both sides are doors to individual private rooms, with room numbers in gold and some traditional-style names.
Occasionally, a waiter would pass by carrying a tray, and they would all bow their heads and give way to Lin Feng.
After taking a quick look around, I found that there were quite a few private rooms, at least thirty or so, and nearly twenty of them were occupied.
Lin Feng was completely at a loss as to where to begin. He scratched his head and walked towards the restroom, where he saw a rest area not far away.
Let's just stay here and wait for the rabbit to run into our trap!
There is no other way.
Lin Feng walked around for more than half a circle. There were too many doors to the private rooms, and every door was closed tightly, making it impossible to hear who was who.
Scratching my head, I walked towards the middle of the corridor and saw a restroom sign. Not far away was a small rest area with two single sofas and a round glass coffee table. On the coffee table was a small vase with a few fresh roses in it.
This is a good location.
Hugh was sitting on a sofa at a corner of the corridor, where he could see all the activity along the entire corridor.
Lin Feng sat down on the sofa.
The sofa is made of velvet and feels very soft to sit on. I took out my phone and put it on the coffee table.
Less than two minutes after I sat down, a waiter in a white shirt and black vest came over with a tray, stopped next to the coffee table, and bowed.
"Sir, would you like to order something?"
Lin Feng was stunned for a moment.
He was about to say no, but the waiter just stood there quietly, a professional smile on his face, waiting for his reply.
It's really strange to just sit here doing nothing.
"What do you have to drink?"
"Coffee, tea, juice, and soft drinks are all available." The waiter took a thin drinks menu from the tray and handed it to us.
Lin Feng flipped open the drinks menu, his gaze sweeping down from the first line.
Americano: 42; Latte: 48; Tieguanyin tea: 88; Freshly squeezed orange juice: 58.
Lin Feng gasped inwardly. This was robbery!
When I turned to the last page, I saw the bottom line read "Lemonade - Thirty-Eight".
"A glass of lemonade, please." Raymond Lam closed the drinks menu and handed it back.
The waiter took the drinks menu, smiled and bowed slightly: "Yes, sir, please wait a moment."
The other person left with the tray.
Lin Feng leaned back on the sofa and tapped his knees lightly with his fingers.
A cup of lemonade costs thirty-eight yuan.
At that price, he could eat three lunches at the school cafeteria.
Forget it.
Consider it payment for this seat.
After a while, the waiter returned with a tray.
A glass sits on a tray, a thin layer of mist clinging to its sides. Inside is clear lemonade, with two thinly sliced lemons floating on the surface.
Next to the cup was a tissue folded into a triangle and a straw.
The waiter placed the glass on the coffee table, arranged the napkins and straw, and took a step back, saying, "Please enjoy your meal, sir."
Lin Feng picked up his cup and took a sip.
The cool lemonade slid down my throat, its sour and sweet flavors were delicate and refreshing, definitely better than the lemonade that cost three yuan a cup outside the school.
But I really couldn't see why it was worth 38 yuan.
He doesn't understand the world of the rich!
He put the cup back on the coffee table and scanned the corridor with his eyes.
Waiters carrying trays passed by in the corridor from time to time. Each waiter would bow slightly in his direction before continuing on his way.
After sitting for about ten minutes, Raymond Lam had drunk about a third of his lemonade.
A sudden urge to urinate made me get up and head to the bathroom.
at the same time.
Inside the Tingyunxuan private room on the second floor at the corner...
