The Secret of the Yoga Club: The Women's Identity is Not Simple
Chapter 32 is just the right size
Lightning Head scrambled to his feet from the wall, clutching his shoulder, his mouth twitching. He glanced at the brick still clutched in Lin Feng's hand, then at his companion lying on the ground, and spat on the ground.
"You wait." After saying this, the three of them got up from the ground and staggered out of the alley.
Lin Feng threw the brick on the ground. There was a little blood on the brick, which was from his own hand.
When I was swinging a brick, the back of my right hand scraped against the wall, tearing off a piece of skin. Blood seeped from the wound and flowed down the back of my hand onto my fingers.
The outside of my left forearm was also scraped, and when I rubbed it against the sleeve of my T-shirt, it got covered in a layer of dirt mixed with blood.
Shen Qianqian ran over from the corner of the wall.
The milk tea had fallen to the ground sometime during the night, leaving a small stain on the hem of her dark blue skirt. She ran up to Lin Feng, her hands hovering beside his arms, wanting to touch him but hesitant to.
"Your arm...your arm is bleeding." The voice was still trembling. He took out a pack of tissues from his small shoulder bag, pulled out a tissue, folded it twice, and pressed it onto the wound on the back of Lin Feng's hand.
The tissue was quickly stained red with blood.
"Does it hurt?" She looked up at him, her brown eyes misty with tears. There was a damp spot on her eyelashes, whether from the fright she had just experienced or from her anxiety, it was hard to tell.
Lin Feng looked down at the back of his hand. "It's nothing, just a little scrape."
"I'll take you to the infirmary." Shen Qianqian removed the tissue from the back of his hand, glanced at the wound, and then took out a new tissue from her bag, folded it, and pressed it back on.
"I'm really okay—"
"No." Shen Qianqian interrupted him, her voice suddenly rising a little. After saying that, she paused for a moment, then lowered her voice again, but her tone remained the same, "Your arm is bleeding, you have to go to the infirmary."
After saying that, she pressed the tissue on the back of his hand, looked up at him. The fear on the baby's face had faded, replaced by an expression Lin Feng had never seen on her face before.
Her brows were furrowed, her lips were pursed, and her eyes were fixed on him.
Lin Feng felt a little uncomfortable under her gaze, so he pulled his hand away from hers and pressed the tissue against his own. "Well... okay then."
The two of them walked out of the dead end.
Shen Qianqian walked beside him, her light blue skirt brushing against his sweatpants. She walked faster than usual, occasionally glancing at the tissue on the back of his hand to see if it was soaked with blood.
As I passed a trash can, I threw the blood-stained tissue in and pulled a new one out of my bag.
"Give me a new one, that one's almost worn through." She handed me a new tissue.
Lin Feng took it and changed it.
The two walked through the narrow alley, out of the old houses, and along the road outside the north gate of the school towards the campus.
Lin Feng and Shen Qianqian walked side by side on the road outside the north gate of the school. The afternoon sun shone overhead, and the cement road reflected a blinding white light.
With my right hand pressed against the tissue, the abrasion on my left elbow had stopped bleeding, and a thin scab had formed on the surface of the wound, which stung a little when it rubbed against my T-shirt sleeve.
She glanced at Shen Qianqian, noticing that the milk tea stain on the hem of her Lolita dress had dried and turned into a small, dark mark.
Her fingers gripped the strap of her small crossbody bag, and she walked with her eyes fixed ahead and her lips slightly pursed.
"What are you doing over there?" Lin Feng moved the tissue he had been pressing on the wound to a different position; the broken skin was still bleeding.
Shen Qianqian's eyelashes drooped, then lifted again. "My roommate said there's a really good Lao Wu's Rice Bowl place over there, and I wanted to try it for lunch. There are so many alleys in that area, and after a few turns I lost my bearings." She paused, "When I got to that alley, those three people followed me from behind and wanted to add me on WeChat. I said no, and they blocked me inside."
After saying that, he pursed his lips again.
After about two seconds, she turned to look at Lin Feng. "Thank you. If you hadn't happened to be passing by, I really wouldn't know what to do."
Lin Feng scratched the back of his head.
When he raised his right hand, he aggravated the wound on the back of his hand, winced, and then put his hand down again. "It's quite a coincidence, I was also planning to go to Old Wu's for a rice bowl. I've been eating their twice-cooked pork rice bowl for over a year now."
Shen Qianqian was stunned for a moment, then the corners of her mouth curved slightly. She hadn't expected such a coincidence.
"So I ended up being the hero who saved the damsel in distress?" he said half-jokingly, then felt a little embarrassed and glanced to the side.
A blush rose on Shen Qianqian's cheeks.
It peeked out from under her cheekbone, like a thin layer of rouge. She turned her face back, looking at the road ahead, that tiny curve still lingering at the corner of her mouth.
Lin Feng removed the tissue from his wound and examined it. The bleeding had stopped, but dried tissue crumbs clung to the skin around the wound. It still felt a bit hot and painful.
Crumple the tissue into a ball and hold it in your other hand.
The two people walked into the north gate of the school.
The old man at the gatehouse was looking down at his phone, not looking up. Once inside the campus, there were noticeably more students on the road.
People walked in twos and threes along the sycamore-lined path, some carrying schoolbags toward the teaching building, others chatting as they walked with milk tea in their hands.
A boy in a basketball uniform walked over from the opposite side, dribbling a basketball, the ball bouncing rhythmically on the ground.
As he passed by Shen Qianqian, his gaze lingered on her face for a moment before shifting to Lin Feng standing next to her.
His gaze swept back and forth between Lin Feng and Shen Qianqian before he dribbled the ball and walked over.
Lin Feng noticed that gaze. It wasn't just from the basketball player; two girls walking side by side were also watching. When one of them saw Shen Qianqian, she nudged the other with her elbow. The two girls whispered something to each other and then looked at Lin Feng at the same time.
Shen Qianqian became the most beautiful girl in the business school not long after enrolling. Her baby face caused an uproar on the school forum as soon as she appeared at the welcome party.
She has many suitors, but no one has ever seen her walk alone with any boy. Now that she's walking side-by-side with a boy on campus, it seems like big news!
Lin Feng felt the gazes directed at him.
Some people looked away immediately, some would look a second time, and some would even exchange glances with the person next to them after looking at it.
"Walking with you is too stressful." Lin Feng threw the crumpled tissue in his hand into the roadside trash can. "Those men's eyes probably look like they want to eat me alive."
The corner of Shen Qianqian's mouth curved into a smile again. She didn't speak, but she didn't slow down her pace or create distance.
Her skirt swayed gently with her steps, and the edge of her white mid-calf socks left a faint mark on her calves.
Lin Feng glanced at her again.
Besides her baby face that's instantly recognizable, her legs are the most striking feature.
The hem of the Lolita dress reached just to the knees, revealing calves encased in white stockings, their lines straight and long, neatly tapering from knee to ankle.
The white stockings shimmered slightly in the sunlight, and the Mary Jane shoes had a small bow on the buckle.
Lin Feng looked away from her legs.
