The Secret of the Yoga Club: The Women's Identity is Not Simple

Chapter 33 The Chain Reaction Caused by the Thug

The clinic is on the first floor of an old building.

Lin Feng pushed open the glass door on the first floor, and the two of them walked in one after the other. There was a desk by the window, and a female doctor in a white coat was writing something. She looked up when she heard footsteps.

She glanced at Lin Feng, then at Shen Qianqian, her gaze lingering on the bloodstains on Lin Feng's T-shirt.

"What's wrong?"

"Teacher, I accidentally scraped my arm." Lin Feng stretched out his right arm.

The female doctor asked him to sit on the edge of the examination bed, took his right hand to look at the wound on the back of his hand, and then asked him to roll up his sleeve to check the abrasions on the outside of his forearm.

Lin Feng used tweezers to hold a cotton ball soaked in iodine and applied it to the wound. As the cotton ball passed over the broken skin, Lin Feng's fingers recoiled slightly.

Shen Qianqian stood to the side, her hands gripping the straps of her small handbag, her eyes fixed on the doctor's hands.

After the iodine was applied, the skin around the wound turned a pale yellow. The female doctor pinched his forearm bone and asked if it hurt. He said it didn't.

I had him move his wrists and elbows again to check his joint mobility.

"The bone is fine, it's just a superficial injury." The female doctor tossed the tweezers and cotton balls into the tray, took out a box of anti-inflammatory medicine from the drawer, and said, "Take two tablets three times a day for three days. Come back tomorrow for another disinfection and a new bandage."

After speaking, she tore off a piece of Band-Aid and placed it on the wound on the back of Lin Feng's hand. The abrasion on his left forearm was larger, so she used two Band-Aids.

Lin Feng stood up from the treatment bed.

Shen Qianqian looked at the band-aid on the back of his hand, and her lips moved slightly. "Does it still hurt?"

"It hurts a little when I applied the iodine, but it doesn't hurt anymore." Lin Feng moved his right hand fingers, and the adhesive bandage wrinkled up along with his skin.

Shen Qianqian rushed to pay the bill, and the two walked out of the infirmary. Lin Feng walked ahead as they went down the stairs.

Stepping out of the building, the afternoon sun shone on me again.

Shen Qianqian paused on the steps at the building entrance, looked at Lin Feng, and said, "Thank you for today." After she finished speaking, she paused again and added, "I'll treat you to a meal tomorrow."

Lin Feng put the anti-inflammatory medicine into his pocket, thought for a moment, and wondered, "What if tomorrow is Saturday?"

It seems Teacher Zhou said he wanted to treat him to dinner, but the time hasn't been set yet, but it'll definitely be noon or evening. "No need for that trouble, we're all classmates. Besides, I haven't properly apologized for bumping into you last time, so let's call it even this time."

Shen Qianqian looked at him and blinked.

She had probably never encountered this situation before; the first time she had taken the initiative to invite a boy to dinner, she was rejected.

He paused for a second or two, then took out his phone from his bag, unlocked the screen, opened WeChat, and handed it to Lin Feng.

Lin Feng took the phone, entered his WeChat ID, and clicked "add".

Then I returned the phone to her.

Shen Qianqian looked down and tapped a few times on her phone, causing Lin Feng's pocket to tremble.

She passed.

"Well... Shen, I'll be going now. I have class this afternoon." Lin Feng waved to her and turned to walk down the steps. After a few steps, Shen Qianqian's voice came from behind.

"Raymond Lam".

He turned around.

Shen Qianqian stood on the steps, her skirt fluttering slightly in the wind. She moved her lips and finally said, "Don't get the band-aid wet."

Lin Feng smiled, waved, and turned to leave.

Shen Qianqian stood on the steps at the entrance of the infirmary, watching his back as he walked across the open space in front of the small white building, turned the flower bed, and disappeared into the shadows of the trees along the tree-lined path.

There was a large patch of dust on the back of the T-shirt, from when it was rubbed on the ground. There was also a small tear on the left elbow, with a small hole in the fabric.

I looked down, opened my phone, and scrolled to a number in my contacts labeled "Mom".

I dialed it, and it rang twice before I answered.

"mom."

A middle-aged woman's voice came from the other end of the phone, speaking quickly and with a capable air. "What's wrong, Qianqian? Why are you calling your mother at this hour?"

"Mom, I was cornered by three boys in the alley near the north gate of the school this afternoon."

The voice on the other end of the phone changed abruptly, from capable to tense. "What? Where are you now? Are you hurt?"

"I'm fine. A classmate was passing by and chased those three guys away. He injured his arm, and we just brought him to the infirmary to get it treated."

There was a two-second silence on the other end of the phone.

Then the woman's voice rang out again, this time not tense, but cold. "What did those three people look like? Where exactly were they?"

"He was in his early twenties, had dyed hair, and tattoos on his arms. One of them had a lightning bolt shaved off the back of his head."

"The old houses outside the North Gate, in that dead-end alley. I can't say the exact location, but there's a pile of old bricks at the entrance of that alley."

"Okay. Mom got it." The sound of typing came from the other end of the phone. "What's your classmate's name? Which college?"

"Lin Feng. He should be in the business school, not in the same class as me, but we take the same general education course."

"Okay. Please thank him for me. I'll treat him to dinner another day." The keyboard clicks stopped on the other end of the phone. "Stay in your dorm this afternoon, I'll send someone to pick you up later."

"Okay, Mom."

Shen Qianqian hung up the phone and put it back in her bag. As she walked down the steps, she glanced again in the direction where Lin Feng had disappeared.

Then I looked away and walked towards the dormitory building, but in my mind I was thinking about what size clothes the other person wore and what style I should buy.

That evening, three police cars from the Beimen Police Station were dispatched. Several intersections in that old housing area were blocked, and uniformed officers searched the alleyways.

Lightning Head and two other men were pinned to the ground in a rented room, with cigarettes still dangling from their mouths.

As the three men were being shoved into the police car with their hands tied behind their backs, Lightning Head struggled and shouted, "Why are you arresting me?" An older policeman pressed the back of his head down and shoved him into the car, his head hitting the door frame.

Later, a two-week crackdown on crime was carried out in that area. Several mahjong parlors in the alley were closed, and the number of people drinking and causing trouble at night decreased significantly. Even the little GG stickers on the walls were removed.

Several thugs who used to hang out in the alley moved away, and the remaining people said that Lightning Head had messed with someone he shouldn't have.

As for who exactly they offended, no one can say for sure.

Of course, these are things to follow.

At that moment, Lin Feng was walking through the campus towards the teaching building, completely unaware of what was about to happen.

He sat in the last row during the afternoon calculus class and didn't see Shen Qianqian come to class. The teacher was lecturing on multivariable calculus.
