The Secret of the Yoga Club: The Women's Identity is Not Simple
Chapter 460 Ye Qinghan by the River
Lin Feng was too lazy to argue with her, so he just replied, "Go to sleep early," and threw his phone on the bed.
I lay in bed for a while flipping through the documents I brought on this business trip, including BYD's new energy project proposals. It was a thick stack of documents, and my eyes started to feel sore after reading half of it.
I closed the documents and placed them on the bedside table, turned off the light, and drifted off to sleep.
When I opened my eyes again, it was 3:40 PM.
The curtains weren't fully drawn, and a ray of light cut in, landing at the foot of the bed. I picked up my phone and glanced at the time; I saw that Ye Qinghan had sent two messages at three o'clock.
"Raymond Lam, are you free tonight? Let's have dinner together."
Ten minutes later, he sent another message: "There's a small bar by the river at 5:30. I'll send you the location. It's about a 40-minute drive from where you live, so leave a little early."
Below is a location sharing.
Lin Feng clicked on it and took a look. He knew that area; it was along the riverside road, next to the municipal government and several other government offices. It wasn't a commercial area, and it was quite quiet. The time he chose was also suitable—not too early, not too late—so that he could finish eating without interfering with his plans for the next day.
"Okay, I'll be there before five o'clock," he replied.
I got up, took a shower, dried my hair, and changed into clean clothes. I wore a dark gray polo shirt with dark blue casual pants. I looked in the mirror, turned up the collar, and rolled up the cuffs slightly.
I left home at four o'clock.
I flagged down a taxi at the hotel entrance. The driver, a man in his fifties, laughed as soon as he heard the address, saying he knew the area well and used to pick up passengers there every day.
On the way, Lin Feng texted Shen Wanyu, saying he had a social engagement that evening and told her not to wait for his reply. Shen Wanyu replied quickly, asking if he had met up with any girl. He said he was discussing serious business, and she responded with an eye-rolling emoji.
The car drove along the riverbank, the afternoon sun shining on the water, making it sparkle. After crossing two bridges, the cars parked along the roadside were noticeably more upscale than those on the previous section of the road, mostly black Audis and Passats, with the occasional Hongqi.
"We're here, that's the one up ahead." The driver pulled over.
Lin Feng paid the fare, got out of the car, and looked up.
The tavern wasn't big, and its facade had a deliberately aged style, with blue brick walls, a wooden-framed glass door, and a small sign hanging above it. There were no LED strips or neon lights; it was very understated.
There are two osmanthus trees planted at the entrance. They are not yet in bloom, but their leaves are already lush and green.
Pushing open the door, the interior decoration was also simple and slightly Chinese in style, the lighting was very dim, and there were only two or three tables scattered around the lobby, with everyone speaking in low voices.
A waiter in a white shirt came up to him. Lin Feng gave Ye Qinghan's name, and the waiter nodded and led him upstairs to the second floor.
The second floor is a terrace.
It's not very big, with five or six tables set up, each spaced far apart and separated by greenery and wooden latticework, providing good privacy.
The best spots are those closest to the river, offering a wide view of the water. The afternoon sun at five o'clock isn't so harsh anymore; it casts a golden glow on the water.
A river breeze blew by, carrying moisture, cool and refreshing.
He chose a seat by the railing, which Ye Qinghan had reserved in advance; the reservation card was already on the table. The waiter asked him what he would like to drink first, and he casually ordered a glass of water.
After waiting for about ten minutes, I heard the sound of high heels on the wooden floor coming from the stairwell.
Lin Feng turned his head.
When Ye Qinghan walked up, several people on the terrace turned their gazes to her almost simultaneously.
Today she wore a black V-neck bodycon dress. The neckline wasn't too exaggerated, but her own figure made up for it. The dress stretched the lines from her shoulders to her waist, and the curves of her chest were excessively large, creating a full and firm curve in the black fabric.
A deep cleavage could be vaguely seen at the intersection of the V-neck, and the silhouette of her figure swayed slightly with each step she took.
The skirt had short sleeves, revealing two pale arms. A watch was worn on her wrist, its thin strap digging into her wrist.
The waist was very tight, and the fabric of the skirt followed the waistline down, then suddenly widened at the hips, making them look round and perky.
The skirt wasn't short, just past the knee, but because of her full hips, the back of the skirt was stretched up slightly, revealing a section of her calves, which were encased in skin-colored stockings, showing off their shapely lines. She wore a pair of black stiletto heels.
Her hair was loose today, with slightly curled ends draped over her shoulders. She wore light makeup, with a deep mauve lipstick that made her skin look even whiter.
For a woman in her forties to have such a figure, it's no longer enough to describe it as "well-maintained".
Standing there, she was the kind of woman that men couldn't look away from, exuding the voluptuous charm unique to mature women, like a ripe peach that would burst with juice at the slightest touch.
Two men in their thirties, dressed in shirts and trousers, were sitting at the next table. They looked like they worked for a government agency. One of them had his cup in mid-air, and his eyes were fixed on Ye Qinghan.
His companion coughed, and he realized what was happening. He lowered his head, took a sip of water, and his ears turned a little red.
Ye Qinghan was clearly used to being stared at and didn't care at all. She glanced around, saw Lin Feng, smiled, and walked over.
"You're here quite early." She sat down opposite him and placed her small handbag on the chair next to her.
"I wouldn't dare be late if you booked this place." Lin Feng pushed the menu towards him. "This place is quite out of the way, how did you find it?"
"We'll order together when you come."
Ye Qinghan didn't stand on ceremony. She called over a waiter and skillfully ordered several dishes. After ordering, she closed the menu and handed it to the waiter, then turned to Lin Feng and asked, "What would you like to drink? White wine or beer?"
"We have important business to attend to tomorrow, so let's drink less and have some red wine!" Lin Feng said.
Ye Qinghan said to the waiter, "Bring a bottle of vintage red wine first."
The waiter wrote down the order and left.
Ye Qinghan leaned back in her chair, crossed her legs, and her skirt slipped up a little, revealing a section of her thigh, which was tightly wrapped in stockings.
She casually swept her hair back with her hand, a seemingly effortless gesture that was precisely what made her so captivating. The weight of her breasts was striking; as she raised her arm, the neckline tugged slightly to the sides, revealing a deeper cleavage that seemed to draw the eye in.
"What are you looking at?" Ye Qinghan suddenly asked, a smile playing on her lips.
Lin Feng looked away, picked up his water glass, took a sip, and said quite frankly, "What do you think?"
Ye Qinghan chuckled twice but didn't respond to the question.
Before long, the cold dishes arrived. The waiter then brought over the red wine, uncorked it, and poured a glass for each of them.
Lin Feng picked up his wine glass and clinked it against hers, the glass making a crisp sound.
A river breeze blew by, and a few strands of Ye Qinghan's hair were blown away, sticking to her cheeks. She raised her hand to brush them aside and tucked them behind her ear, revealing a small pearl earring on her ear.
The gesture was very feminine and natural, but Lin Feng noticed that the two people at the next table were looking this way again.
Ye Qinghan took a bite of beef, chewed it a couple of times, and suddenly said, "This feeling is so good, it's like being in a relationship in college!"
