The front door of the classroom was pushed open.

Zhou Mei walked in. Her black silk shirt was tucked into gray suit trousers, and one button of the shirt collar was undone, revealing a small section of her collarbone.

The trousers were wide-legged, the fabric swaying gently on her legs as she walked. She wore black pointed-toe high heels, her ankles, encased in black stockings, peeking out from under the trouser legs.

Her hair was loose over her shoulders, and she wore a pair of black-rimmed glasses.

He placed the lesson plan on the podium, looked up, and scanned the classroom. His gaze stopped when it reached the back row. Shen Qianqian was sitting next to Lin Feng, less than a hand's width apart.

Shen Qianqian was looking down and flipping through a book, while Lin Feng was twisting the cap off a yogurt bottle.

Zhou Mei's gaze lingered on that spot for a second. Then she looked away.

"Turn to page 176. Today we'll discuss the final part of the consumer behavior model."

Her voice was exactly the same as usual, but when she flipped through the lesson plan, she used a little more force than usual, making a rustling sound as the pages were turned.

Halfway through the lesson, Zhou Mei's gaze kept drifting towards Lin Feng. Shen Qianqian was turning her head to whisper something to Lin Feng, her lips almost touching his ear.

After listening, Lin Feng's lips curved slightly. He wrote a few words in his notebook and pushed it towards her. Shen Qianqian glanced at it and smiled, pursing her lips.

Zhou Mei misread a line of text on the PowerPoint presentation. She paused, then read it again. Her voice was still steady, but the hand holding the laser pointer was visibly trembling.

"Raymond Lam".

Lin Feng raised his head.

What factors influence the information search stage of the consumer decision-making process?

Lin Feng stood up.

He shifted his backpack on the back of the chair. "Internal information search and external information search. Internal information search mainly relies on the consumer's own memory and experience, while external information search includes personal sources, commercial sources, public sources, and personal experience..."

"If you haven't answered completely, stand and listen. Turn to page 180."

Lin Feng was taken aback. He had clearly answered correctly.

But Zhou Mei had already turned around and was writing on the blackboard, the chalk making a tapping sound.

After finishing writing, she turned around, her gaze sweeping over him without lingering. Lin Feng stood for most of the class. Shen Qianqian turned her head to look at him several times, her lips moving as if she wanted to say something, but she swallowed it back.

During the second class, Zhou Mei called on him again. This time, she asked about the types of post-purchase behavior.

Lin Feng had already given a comprehensive answer, but she still made him stand. Shen Qianqian didn't understand why Teacher Zhou was targeting Lin Feng all day. Last time she saw Teacher Zhou buying clothes for Lin Feng at the mall, she thought they had a good relationship.

When the bell rang, Zhou Mei placed the laser pointer on the podium. The students began packing their bags and leaving. Shen Qianqian turned to face Lin Feng, her large eyes looking at him, her eyelashes trembling slightly in the morning light.

"Lin Feng, could you stay with me for evening study tonight? There's a streetlight on a road near the library that's been broken lately, and I'm a little scared."

A hint of nervous anticipation crossed her doll-like face, her fingers unconsciously gripping the edge of her pleated skirt. Lin Feng looked into her eyes.

"OK."

Shen Qianqian's lips curved into a smile, and her eyes followed suit. She slung her backpack over her shoulder and stood up. "I'll text you after class."

After speaking, she walked towards the classroom door, the hem of her pleated skirt swaying gently with each step. She glanced back at Lin Feng as she reached the door, then turned and left.

"Lin Feng, come to my office."

Zhou Mei stood beside the podium, holding a laser pointer in her hand. The collar of her black silk shirt rose and fell slightly with her breathing, and the skin below her collarbone was flushed with a faint pink.

After saying that, she turned and walked towards the door, her high heels clicking loudly on the floor.

Lin Feng stuffed his textbooks into his schoolbag and followed behind her.

There were only the two of them in the office.

Zhou Mei stood behind the desk, her hands resting on the surface, her back to the door. Lin Feng went in and closed the door.

The door lock clicked shut.

"What's going on between you and Shen Qianqian?"

Lin Feng stood by the door, his hands hanging at his sides. "It's just a classmate, what's up?"

"A classmate?" Zhou Mei's voice rose slightly. "Why did she bring you yogurt? Why did she sit next to you? Why did she wait for you after class?"

"Teacher Zhou, these things don't seem like you need to worry about them."

Zhou Mei's lips were pressed into a thin line.

She walked around from behind the desk to stand in front of Lin Feng, her high heels clicking on the floor. She only reached Lin Feng's chin, and when she looked up at him, her eyes behind her black-rimmed glasses shone with an alarming intensity.

Are you dating her?

Lin Feng looked at her, feeling a bit annoyed. She was constantly targeting him in class, making it seem like he'd done something wrong. "Even if I have, so what? Does university rule against students dating?"

Upon hearing this, Zhou Mei's chest heaved even more violently. The skin below her collarbone changed from pink to a deeper crimson, spreading all the way down to her neck.

"You—" Her voice trailed off, "You clearly have a girlfriend, how come you still—"

"Who I'm with and who I date is my business. Teacher Zhou, you're meddling too much."

He turned around and reached for the doorknob.

Zhou Mei suddenly raised her hand and placed her palm on his left cheek, the sound ringing out crisply in the quiet office.

The force was not strong.

But Lin Feng's face was slightly turned to the side by the slap. A light red palm print slowly appeared on his left cheek, extending from his cheekbone all the way to his jaw.

Lin Feng stood with his face turned to the side for two seconds, then slowly turned his head back, looking into Zhou Mei's eyes with a calm expression.

"Teacher Zhou, I've done whatever you asked me to do." He paused for a moment, then said, "Forget it! We're even now."

He opened the door and went out.

Zhou Mei stood still.

The hand remained in the same swinging motion, fingers slightly curled, the office door swaying gently in the air, and the footsteps in the corridor fading into the distance.

"Lin Feng!" She chased after him to the door, her hand resting on the doorframe. The corridor was empty; his figure had already disappeared around the corner.

Close the door and lean it against the door panel.

I raised my hand and looked at my palm, feeling a little annoyed at myself for making that gesture!

He slowly walked behind the desk and sat down. On the desk was a stack of printed review materials, the cover of which read "Summary of Key Question Types for Final Exams". Below it was a note clipped with a paperclip, which contained only one line: "Lin Feng, pay special attention to these questions."

He buried his face in his hands, his shoulders trembled slightly, and then he stopped moving.

I'm not his girlfriend, just his counselor. What right do I have to ask him who he's with, or what right do I have to hit him?

After thinking for a while, Zhou Mei took her hand off her face, picked up the stack of review materials, tore off the sticky notes, crumpled them into a ball, threw them into the wastebasket, and then put the review materials in the drawer and closed it.

Zhou Mei! What are you doing...?
