Spring Night Kiss.
In Chapter 6, here, I bit...
Xu Zhouye, of course, did not allow it.
He lowered his eyes, his gaze slowly sliding from her face to her neck, then back to her eyes. A slight smile played on his lips, and his voice was low: "Miss Song, you're quite fast."
"Investigate me?" Song Qingjia looked at him, chin raised.
"I've been investigating for a week, and Miss Song seems to be having a lot of free time, hiding in Suzhou. It's been a real struggle for me."
She said lazily, "You seem to have a lot of free time."
"I do have a lot of free time." Xu Zhouye straightened up and took a step forward.
The distance was instantly reduced.
Without stopping, they took another step.
Song Qingjia did not move.
He took another step, and she leaned against the wall of the alley. The coolness of the blue bricks seeped in through the thin fabric of her cheongsam.
Xu Zhouye rested one hand on her ear, bent down slightly, and looked down at her.
The two were only a fist's width apart. He enveloped them with the scent of pine mixed with tobacco, carrying the unique dampness of the southern air.
"That night," he began, his voice low and hoarse, "you drank quite a bit."
Song Qingjia raised her face and blinked: "So?"
"So..." He braced his other hand against the wall, completely encircling her in his arms, "How much do you remember?"
"I remember everything I should remember," Song Qingjia said calmly.
Xu Zhouye raised an eyebrow slightly, leaned forward another half inch, his nose almost touching hers: "For example?"
Song Qingjia looked at him quietly for a while.
Suddenly she reached out, her fingertips hooking the collar of his shirt, and slowly pulled it down half an inch, revealing a faint red mark below his collarbone.
"For example, this one, which I caught."
Xu Zhouye paused for a moment.
Her fingertips moved away from his collar and pressed lightly an inch below his Adam's apple: "And here, where I bit you."
Xu Zhouye's Adam's apple bobbed up and down.
He grabbed her hand, pressed it against the wall, and clasped his fingers together with hers.
Palm to palm, burning hot.
"You remember it quite well." His voice was hoarse.
"Of course I know." Song Qingjia didn't struggle, and even tilted her head slightly, a slight smile playing on her lips. "After all, it's Young Master Xu's first time."
Xu Zhouye stared at her, his eyes darkening.
He pulled his other hand back from the wall, grabbed her waist, and pulled her sharply towards himself.
His palms were burning hot, and his fingers were clenched tightly, almost as if he wanted to knead that slender waist into his bones.
He pulled Song Qingjia so close that she pressed herself against him, her chest bumping against his. It was hard and the impact made her feel a slight pain.
She frowned. What were this man's pectoral muscles made of? They were so hard.
She raised her free hand and placed it on his shoulder, keeping a few centimeters apart.
But they were still very close, their breaths mingling.
"How did you know it was your first time?" Xu Zhouye asked.
"I'm guessing. Your performance that day didn't seem like that of someone with experience."
The man's lips twitched.
What does this mean?
Dislike his skills?
"And you? You're very experienced?" He tilted his head slightly, his lips brushing against her cheekbone and stopping at her ear.
Song Qingjia turned her head to the side, and their lips almost touched.
"Didn't you see it all?" she said.
Xu Zhouye scoffed; she was referring to the bloodstains left on the bedsheets.
He tightened his grip on her waist for a moment, his thumb slowly circling her waist.
"Since this is the first time, let me ask you a question."
"What are you asking me?"
"That morning," he paused, his voice lowering, "why did you run?"
Song Qingjia raised an eyebrow.
She didn't rush to answer, but looked into those eyes so close to hers, and it seemed they really cared about her running away.
I pressed my index finger against his forehead and pushed it outward by half an inch.
"Do I really have to spell it out like this?"
"Hmm, explain it more clearly." Xu Zhouye didn't let her push him away, but instead pressed him forward again.
Song Qingjia leaned close to his ear.
Her breath brushed against his earlobe, causing his lower abdomen to tighten.
"Because of you, my skills are terrible."
They act recklessly and show no restraint whatsoever.
Xu Zhouye: "???"
Before he could react, the woman in front of him withdrew her hand, placed her palm against his chest, and pushed him away forcefully.
Xu Zhouye was caught off guard and pushed back half a step.
This woman is incredibly strong.
Song Qingjia straightened her cheongsam, which had been crumpled at the waist, and walked away in her high heels without looking back, turning gracefully out of the alley.
Xu Zhouye leaned against the wall, squinting as he watched the direction the woman had left.
The night breeze blew in, carrying the lingering fragrance from her body.
Is the technology too poor?
That's utter nonsense.
He got up with a cold laugh and strode towards the alley entrance.
All I could see was the woman's skirt flash past a white car parked on the side of the road. The next second, the car door closed and the car sped away.
When Lu Yanbai came out of the Pingtan Hall, he saw Xu Zhouye standing alone by the roadside.
"Why are you all alone? Where's the beauty in the cheongsam?"
He chased after the fairy as soon as she stepped off the stage, but he still couldn't catch up.
"Have you found out where she lives?" Xu Zhouye glanced at him and asked coldly.
Lu Yanbai was taken aback. His tone was so sharp that it seemed he really hadn't caught up.
He said, "I found out. What a coincidence, she lives in a resort in the west of the city."
That resort is owned by the Shen family of Beijing. It has only recently opened for business and has everything from hot springs and tennis courts to golf courses and ski resorts.
But this is not the point.
The important thing is that they also live there.
Xu Zhouye raised an eyebrow, and the oppressive aura emanating from him dissipated somewhat.
"I'm gone."
-
Upon returning to the resort, the first thing Song Qingjia did was fill a tub with hot water.
I poured in two drops of essential oil and sprinkled in a handful of bath salts.
I sank in, the water reaching my collarbone, the heat making my pores open.
As her sore muscles slowly relaxed, she closed her eyes and leaned against the edge of the bathtub. Suddenly, the man's profile flashed into her mind.
His eyebrows and eyes were deep-set, with long, narrow corners. His thin lips were slightly upturned, and when he curled the corners of his lips, he exuded a roguish yet sexy charm.
Song Qingjia opened her eyes and patted the water.
Why think about him?
After a bath, I felt completely refreshed, and my skin even had a rosy glow.
She changed into a silk slip dress, dried her hair mostly, and fell asleep on the bed shortly after.
When I woke up again, the room was much dimmer, with only a warm yellow lamp by the bedside.
The man she had seen that afternoon was standing by the bed. His shirt collar was wide open, and there were still red marks on his collarbone from where she had scratched him.
Xu Zhouye looked down at her, his eyes blazing.
"Song Qingjia." He called her name, his voice low and hoarse.
Song Qingjia was startled and subconsciously tried to get up, but found that she couldn't move.
The man leaned down, one hand supporting himself beside her ear, the other hand tracing her outline through her nightgown.
Her breathing quickened, and she tried to push him away, but her wrist was gripped.
"What are you doing here?" Her voice carried a hint of panic.
He clasped her hands above her head, threading his fingers through hers, and whispered, "You're the one who summoned me..."
Before the last word had even faded, his kiss landed on her lips.
Not gentle at all, he used his tongue to pry open her teeth, forcing her to respond.
She let out a sob, but her body betrayed her, her waist involuntarily arching upwards.
He chuckled, moved his lips to her earlobe, took it in his mouth, and gently bit it.
"Weren't you pretty good at catching them last time?"
He released her hand and moved it downwards, his palm pressed against hers. Her nightgown was crumpled into a ball around her waist, her skin exposed to the air, causing a slight shiver to run down her spine.
His fingers pressed against it.
They didn't go out; they just circled around outside.
Song Qingjia bit her lip, letting out a gasp of unbearable pain.
"Say it out," he whispered, his voice like sand being ground down. "You sounded pretty good last time."
Sweat dripped from her forehead and onto her chest.
"Call," he said.
"Xu...Xu Zhouye...ah—"
