Spring Night Kiss.

Chapter 94 He was born to belong to her

Another night of absurdity.

Song Qingjia woke up rubbing her lower back and realized it was indeed time to go back to China. Otherwise, with him tormenting her like this every day, her old back was really taking a toll.

She put on a light shirt, pushed open the bedroom door and went out. As soon as she stepped onto the deck, she saw Xu Zhouye lying on a deck chair, wearing only a pair of dark gray swimming trunks.

The morning light spread across the horizon and fell upon him, tanning his skin to a light honey color.

The grooves of her abdominal muscles were particularly clear in the light, her V-line was tucked into the edge of her swim trunks, and there were still light red marks from the bite she had left last night in her collarbone hollow.

She paused, not because she liked biting people, but because he was sometimes so wicked that she couldn't control herself.

My gaze shifted to the small round table to the side, on which sat a bottle of wine, two glasses, and a white porcelain plate. On the plate were several pieces of golden and crispy fried food, accompanied by a dish of light green sauce.

"He's quite good to me, though," Song Qingjia thought to herself.

Hearing the noise, Xu Zhouye turned around and asked, "Awake?"

Song Qingjia walked over, the sea breeze blowing up the hem of her thin shirt. She pressed the hem down and stood next to him.

Xu Zhouye grabbed her wrist and pulled her down.

She slumped onto his lap, and he took the opportunity to wrap his arms around her waist, then lowered his head and gently bit her shoulder.

Are you hungry?

Song Qingjia nodded.

She was extremely hungry last night and overslept this morning.

"Try this." Xu Zhouye picked up a piece of fried food from the plate, dipped it in the sauce, and held it to her lips.

Song Qingjia took a bite from his hand.

The outer shell is crispy, while the inside is tender cod, with a hint of lemon and vanilla. The sauce is slightly sweet, like some kind of yogurt with honey.

"What's this? It's actually quite delicious."

"Fried cod balls, with saffron yogurt sauce." He fed the remaining half to himself, then picked up another and handed it to her. "They were delivered by a local fishing boat this morning, just fried."

She barely ate a few bites before pushing his hand away, leaning back, and pressing her back against his chest.

"Not eating anymore?"

Song Qingjia nodded, feeling a bit greasy after eating so much. She definitely still had a Chinese palate, preferring things like steamed buns, wontons, and porridge.

Xu Zhouye put down the plate, wrapped his arms around her waist again, and gently rubbed her lower abdomen with his palm.

"Shall we have someone bring up some more seafood porridge later?"

Song Qingjia hummed in agreement.

The sea breeze blew from the front, blowing her hair onto his face.

He didn't dodge; he sniffed the air. Besides the smell of shampoo, there seemed to be another peculiar fragrance.

It wasn't strong, but it was especially attractive to him.

Even her scent suited him perfectly; this woman was born to belong to him.

No, he was born to belong to this woman.

Xu Zhouye was in a wonderful mood and hugged the person even tighter.

Song Qingjia slapped his hand dismissively: "Let go, it's so hot."

Xu Zhouye deliberately hugged her tighter: "No."

Song Qingjia let him go.

The silhouette of Le Van Island in the distance was outlined with a bright golden edge by the sunlight, and seagulls swept past the stern of the boat, letting out two soft cries.

Sunshine, sea breeze, and handsome men.

She thought that staying a few more days wouldn't be a bad idea. After all, not having to work was really great.

-

The afternoon sun wasn't so strong anymore, and the sea breeze blew in from the direction of Le Van Island, carrying the scent of pine forests and earth.

Xu Zhouye came out of the cabin, changed into a white linen shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his forearms, and was carrying two straw hats.

He walked onto the deck, put one of the hats on Song Qingjia's head, and pulled the brim down to cover most of her face.

"Come on, I'll take you to see a place."

"The yacht can't get through," he said, leading her down the gangway and onto the pier. "The bay over there is too shallow; boats with a draft of more than two meters can't get in. We'll have to get a smaller boat."

Song Qingjia asked curiously, "What place is it?"

Xu Zhouye led her away, saying, "You'll know when we get there."

"It's all so mysterious," Song Qingjia muttered, but she was even more curious.

There were no cars on the island, only a stone path winding along the coastline, lined with olive and oleander trees. He walked slowly, making sure to match the pace of the girl beside him.

About twenty minutes later, the stone path turned into a path shaded by trees.

The olive trees on both sides grew denser, their branches and leaves overlapping overhead to form a green archway. Sunlight filtered through the leaves, scattering golden light across the ground.

At the end of the path was an open space, edged by a low cliff. Below the cliff was the azure sea, so clear that you could see the white sand and dark rocks on the seabed.

An old man stood on the edge of the cliff, wearing faded blue overalls and an old straw hat, fiddling with a wooden boat.

The boat was small, its wooden hull tanned a warm gray by the sea and sun, and a small engine hung at the stern.

"Victor," Xu Zhouye called out.

The old man looked up, saw him, and smiled.

"Xu! You're here again." He put down his tools and walked over. "And this is?"

"My love."

Song Qingjia glanced at him sideways. The word "lover" seemed to carry a more tender connotation than "girlfriend."

"Are you going out to sea?"

"Okay." Xu Zhouye had already walked to the side of the boat, bent down to check the engine at the stern, and said, "We'll be back before dark."

Victor waved his hand and walked back to sit on the bench under the shade of the tree, seemingly already used to having his boat requisitioned by the young man.

Song Qingjia walked to the side of the boat and watched as he pulled the engine start rope, and the engine emitted a deep roar.

Does he look like he's going to drive it himself?

She was a little distrustful of him: "Are you sure you can do it?"

Xu Zhou glanced at her dismissively: "If you can drive an F1 car, why can't you drive this?"

Song Qingjia: "..."

I don't quite understand the connection between these two.

But she still boarded the boat and sat down at the stern.

Xu Zhouye smiled, untied the rope, jumped onto the boat, the engine started, and the boat slowly left the shore and headed out to sea.

The boat wasn't moving fast, and waves broke apart at the bow, splashing onto the boat. Song Qingjia reached out and caught some; the water droplets gathered into a small puddle in her palm, feeling cool and refreshing.

"Song Qingjia," Xu Zhouye suddenly called her name.

She looked up at the man standing at the bow of the boat.

He turned his head to look at me, his peach blossom eyes reflecting the sunlight and the sea, a malicious smile playing on his lips.

Song Qingjia had a gut feeling that he was about to say something outrageous.

Xu Zhouye said slowly, "If the boat capsizes now, you really have to die for me."

As expected, it did not disappoint her.
