Wizard's Journey

Chapter 1411 Compassionate Charlatan

Chapter 1410 Compassionate Charlatan

The Wizarding Continent, a land steeped in history.

In that ancient, uncharted wilderness, ruled by countless monster races, life flourished in a diverse array of forms, with the savage giant race being just one of them.

As history unfolded, the savage giants referred to all powerful beings they could not defeat as gods. The term "god" in their name reflected both their worship of that power and their ambition to acquire the same strength. The rise of the human ancestor, through the continuous slaughter of the ancient wizarding world's rulers to gain even greater power, led the savage giants to annihilate all the "gods" on the entire wizarding continent. There were no longer any creatures on the wizarding continent worthy of being called gods by the savage giants.

Thus, the savage giants ruled the Wizarding Continent and became its overlords.

Then came a dark period in history. The barbaric giants, having lost their enemies, began to degenerate, fighting amongst themselves for power and profit, and their strength waned and decayed. All of this broke the hearts of the ancestors.

The history of wizards is intertwined with the birth of humankind. They are a new species created by the ancestors of mankind who sealed away the instincts of the savage giants. Their greatest characteristic is their endless desires and ambitions!

The Wizarding World has since witnessed the history of wizards vying for supremacy with sea creatures, the first Civilization War between wizards and alien nightmares, the second Civilization War between wizards and ancient demons, and now it is about to experience a third war that has spread to its homeland: the war between wizards and metal destroyers!

Green didn't rush, but instead flew eastward to the port of Zerato, a coral island, stopping frequently.

Green did not forget his other spiritual desire, which was inspired by the virtual world of Maggie's Gift in the Dimensional Digestor. He recalled his childhood in Bisel City, where every winter was so hard to endure, and a group of lonely little beggars huddled together for warmth.

In contrast, Grimm's use of the Magnetite to perform the True Spirit Offering only granted him the infinite power of the World Guardian within the Wizarding World. Once he left the Wizarding World, Grimm's power rapidly declined, making it a rather unique True Spirit Offering rule.

Green was not satisfied and attempted a second dedication to compensate for his lack of rule amplification outside the wizarding world.

However, promoting this festival would take a long time, and whether it would be accepted and promoted further is also a problem. Moreover, as the wizarding world develops, will the festival be able to survive?

Green had no faith in this spiritual offering.

The Dark Flower Wizarding Academy of the Five Rings Holy Tower was once home to the Dark Flower Saint Mark Wizards, who perished in the War of Civilization. The academy has also completely declined. Because too many Saint Mark Wizards perished in the War of Civilization, the Holy Tower did not arrange for Saint Mark Wizards to take their place, but instead allowed the wizarding academy to gradually decline until it was forgotten.

Bandesar, a small city with a population of only about 10,000, saw Green's figure appear silently on a street corner.

Uh...

The howling wind blew slowly as Green deliberately slowed his pace, dragging out the time into winter, the most difficult time for these little beggars. Everywhere there was conflict, war, and a group of the most lonely and helpless people.

In the dirtiest and most chaotic corner of the street, in a makeshift shed, a group of beggars huddled together, shivering.

Tap, tap, tap, tap, tap...

The magic wand struck the cold, hard bricks with a crisp tapping sound. The little girl, the one furthest out of the beggar group and the most destitute, looked up, her rosy cheeks and big eyes staring at the tall figure standing before her, bewildered.

Tell me, what is your wish right now?

Green's voice was full of devilish allure, deep and hoarse, penetrating straight to the soul, as if he had made his appearance in the form of a devil's contract during the great cataclysm in the world of spirits.

The little girl was a little scared and unconsciously moved closer to the old beggar next to her. The other beggars also looked at Green timidly, wondering what was wrong with this high-ranking nobleman, what kind of conspiracy he was plotting, why he had a warm house to enjoy but instead chose to find pleasure with them, these hungry beggars.

"Hehe, young master, it seems your method won't work."

On his shoulder, Little Eight rubbed his nose with his wing, realizing the difficulties Green faced in promoting the True Spirit Offering.

kindness! ?

Green frowned and stood there in the wind and snow, thinking for a long time, when he suddenly realized something.

The true spirit offerings in the wizarding world are based on the rule of creating something from nothing. This rule is beneficial to the development of the wizarding world and cannot be forcibly promoted, much less implemented by deceiving a few people.

Suddenly, Green thought of his time in the world of the Tricksters, where he was moved by the Tricksters' integration into nature, which gave rise to a compassionate feeling he had never experienced before.

At that moment, in Green's eyes, the little girl and the beggars were like a herd of deer, just a part of the vibrant life of the wizarding world. Green smiled warmly, reached out and touched the little girl's messy hair, giving her an indescribable warmth and a sense of encouragement.

Would you like a bowl of hot rice?

The little girl's pupils dilated slightly, and she nodded timidly, her eyes filled with longing.

"Then come with me, everyone who wants to have a full meal, come with me."

With that, Green turned and left. The little girl stood up abruptly, wearing tattered straw sandals, and followed Green with her nearly frozen feet. The other beggars hesitated, but out of their desire for food, they followed as well.

"Damn, you charlatan! You really picked a spot; that old geezer in the Fifth Ring Road is a living charlatan!"

Xiao Ba muttered to himself.

……

"Halt! Who goes there!"

Two previously listless knight guards suddenly saw a group of beggars arrive at the mansion gate and stopped Green, who was leading the group.

"Today is December 1st. Compassion has brought me here. Lost wolves, put away your fangs and show some mercy to these fawns. You will reap a greater reward."

The two knights stared wide-eyed. What was going on?

After hesitating for a moment, seemingly intimidated by Green's charlatan-like aura, one knight continued to block Green and the numerous beggars, while the other knight quickly ran into the mansion. Needless to say, it was a rather luxurious mansion, belonging to the descendants of wizards, nobles among ordinary humans.

The beggars behind Green were somewhat frightened, but Green continued to look compassionately at the trembling deer and the guard dog, offering a completely new perspective.
