Wizard's Journey

Chapter 2010 Abyss Battlefield (Thirty-Five)

With 140 votes in the voting rights, plus 10 more votes after the Abyss War, and 150 more votes to allocate, the wizard achieved a result he was relatively satisfied with.

Thus, the grand and epic demon-hunting expedition officially began!

The wizards were assigned to the vast abyss battlefield area at the edge of the Ironblood Galaxy, towards the direction of the Demonic World Cluster. Grand Commander Prometheus then divided this area into several smaller war zones, which were further subdivided by one True Spirit Wizard after another, until the Holy Mark Wizard led the Vast Wizard Legion to personally lead the expedition.

Amidst the intentional or unintentional spying of various races on this abyssal battlefield, the wizards, like a swarm of bees, dispersed and rushed to various world regions and the void starfall.

Anna, a Level 3 Archmage who graduated from the Tower of Annihilation Wizard Academy, holds a Level 2 Honor Medal and is only one step away from becoming a Saintly Mark Wizard!

Anna, known as the Enigma of the Moonshadow, wore a loose-fitting body-refining wizard's robe and held a silver-gray magic wand. Despite her retro attire, she was surrounded by several incredibly agile mechanical bees, and followed by several tall and enormous chimera monsters. As she walked along the somewhat crowded corridor of the Void Mothership, a beautiful and cold face could be vaguely seen from under her half-covered black cloak as she walked forward step by step.

The several enormous monsters following Anna were not slaves that could be purchased on the market as part of the Demon Hunter Expedition. Instead, they were carefully bred synthetic beasts with formidable combat power. Their scarless stitching technique not only made them physically strong and thick-skinned, but they also often possessed unique abilities.

In front of the transfer hall, the several chimera monsters behind Anna, fearing the wizard's aura, instinctively stopped in their tracks. Two vines covered in barbed venomous thorns stretched out and sniffed Anna. The Terminator robot guarding the door stepped aside, and with a "click," the metal door slowly opened, revealing a bustling hall filled with people coming and going.

"The esteemed Frostfang Saint Mark Wizard awaits inside."

After saying one sentence, the Terminator robot closed the door again.

Standing in the bustling hall, Anna glanced around and noticed a Saint-Stigmata Wizard in the corner, sipping coffee slowly from a cup of coffee. It was Frostfang.

After walking step by step, Anna said in a low voice, "Anna, the Enigma of the Moon Shadow, summoned by you, greets the esteemed Frost Fang Saint Mark Wizard."

Seven Stigmata Wizards were dispatched to the Lightningwood Small World for this Demon Hunting Expedition. Frost Fang was the least famous among them. It was unclear why she was summoned alone, but in any case, he was a formal Stigmata Wizard, so Anna rushed over immediately.

"kindness."

The spoon stirring the coffee cup slowly came to a stop. The Frostfang Stigmata Wizard looked at Anna, the Enigma of the Moon Shadow, chuckled, and calmly said, "You must be wondering why I summoned you alone on the eve of the great battle, right?"

Anna nodded with a frown, her cool and aloof demeanor now tinged with a touch of cuteness.

The Frostfang Stigmata Wizard set down his coffee cup, wiped it with a white handkerchief, and walked ahead through the bustling hall. Anna instinctively followed behind. The Frostfang Stigmata Wizard said calmly, "You should be grateful that you graduated from the Tower of Oblivion Wizard Academy, the great academy founded by the first Wizard King. The higher-ups have decided that in the event of unforeseen circumstances during the war, they will summon the great first Wizard King back. At that time, some intervening time-space mediums will inevitably be needed, so they need to focus on training a group of Stigmata Wizards who have a time-space separation from the first Wizard King. You've been chosen."

"kindness!?"

Unbelievable, utterly astonished, Anna never dreamed that she would be different because of her alma mater, and she couldn't understand what kind of time-space medium those True Spirit Wizards used to summon the First Wizard King, life information similar to a curse spell.

Anna hesitated, puzzled. "What do I need to do?"

Frostfang smiled with satisfaction and continued walking ahead. Soon after, he led Anna out of the control hall and into the private laboratory.

"Countless beginner wizards have graduated from the Annihilation Tower Wizard Academy, and you are merely one of them. To become one of the lucky few, you need to complete a task to prove your wizarding will. This Lightning-Struck Wood World is your opportunity. Kill an Abyss Demon, and you will be personally received by the great Grand Commander Prometheus, gaining recognition of your wizarding will!"

……

A month later.

Looking down from the void at the world of lightning-struck trees, it was truly breathtaking. No wonder it was once hailed as a dazzling jewel in the crown of the southeastern corner of the Ironblood Galaxy World Cluster before the war. The ceaseless thunderstorms shone like gems on this verdant canvas, and this verdant green was naturally the towering giant trees that reached into the clouds.

Thunderstorms struck these giant trees, which is the origin of the world of lightning-struck trees.

pity!

With the wizards' sensitivity, even without seeing with their eyes, they can perceive the abyssal demonic energy stained with ink in this world, which will be the target of the wizards' mission to seal and purify.

On the space fortress, the Stigmata Wizards gathered together and shouted their will to the tens of thousands of Demon Hunter Wizards.

"The Ironblood Galaxy soldiers below will be our allies. After the battle wizards wipe out all the abyssal monsters, the sealing wizards will purify them. Charge!"

As the holy-marked wizard on the space fortress strengthened his will, one after another, the demon hunter wizards who had been preparing for battle on the fortress descended from the sky, drawing upon the will of the space fortress wizards to form wizard shields, like blazing meteors falling towards this world as vanguards of wizard will.

Anna was one of them. Her black robes fluttered in the violent elemental turbulence. The scaled synthetic beasts behind her roared to the sky as they stepped into the specially made strategic transport aircraft. With a "bang," the hatch closed and they descended from the sky behind the vanguard wizards, entering this strange world corrupted by the abyss demons.

High in the sky, the space fortress transformed into a blood-red full moon, neatly arranged alongside the void fleet that had come on the expedition. Laser searchlights locked onto several large-scale abyssal contaminated areas, guiding the direction of the demon hunter expedition wizards.

The crimson flames burned, and Anna's cold eyes looked at the red glow emanating from the friction outside the cabin. With her heart pounding, she felt the increasingly strong gravitational pull of the world binding her, and she realized that she had completely entered the world of the lightning-struck wood.

His ultimate goal for this trip is to hunt down a true Abyss Demon!

If the mission is completed, one will rise to the top and be listed among the holy ones, and may even have the opportunity to witness and pay homage to the great first wizard king. If one fails, one will lose this opportunity and may very well become mediocre.

Lost in thought, Anna noticed the rumbling outside the window gradually subsiding, accompanied by distant booming explosions. She knew it was the sound of a low-level wizard's protective shield hitting the ground in a crater. As the specially designed fighter jet increased its hovering power and plummeted straight down, Anna stood up from her seat, took a deep breath, and said in a low voice, "The hunt begins!"
