Chapter 2011 Abyss Battlefield (Thirty-Six)

The transport plane came to a complete stop on the ground, and with a "click," the gate opened. The mechanical equipment of the flat Ironblood fighter jet airport came and went, and in the distance, one could vaguely see a city full of ravages and a mountain forest filled with the smoke of gunpowder.

Amidst the chaotic clamor of urging, Anna stepped off the transport plane. The chimeras behind her seemed to sense the lurking abyssal killing intent of this world, letting out muffled roars filled with oppression.

"I am the commander here. This area is currently under invasion by the Abyss Demons, due south..."

Boom!

The Predator commander had barely finished speaking when the wreckage of a large warship crashed onto the airfield not far from them, affecting several mechanical transport units and a dozen Predators. Blazing flames shot into the air, and large swathes of metal debris rained down like a shower of petals. Anna instinctively activated her Wizard's Barrier and coldly shouted, "I need a guide familiar with the terrain!"

The towering Predator commander made a universal hand signal, beckoning a Predator from a short distance away before running toward another landing Wizard delta-wing fighter. Meanwhile, the transport plane responsible for picking up Anna took off again, flying toward the space fortress in the void outside the World Garment's rules.

Roar! Roar! Roar! Roar!

Dozens of dark shadows, blotting out the sky, swooped down from afar at an astonishing speed. The familiar roar and oppressive aura belonged to the Abyss Dragons, creatures standing at the top of the food chain in the abyss.

With its wings of demonic flames stretching over thirty meters, every inch of its skin is black gold, seemingly hundreds of times stronger than steel. Its lines are full of violent aesthetics, making it a perfect evolutionary at the pinnacle of the food chain, a creature that only elite wizards of the same level can defeat.

Driven by the primal fear of their biological cells, the chimeras behind Anna kept their threatening roars to a minimum to avoid attracting the attention of those terrifying creatures.

"Prepare for war, prepare for war, strengthen defense and security! Ah..."

With a "crack," the airport ground split open, and pairs of black, line-like tentacles surged out at an astonishing speed, accompanied by a terrifying abyssal demonic aura spreading everywhere. These evil tentacles were dragging everything they came into contact with into the underground cavern at incredible speed.

"It must be an attack by the Abyss Demons! Wizard, we must get out of here!"

The Predator assigned to Anna by the commander spoke hurriedly: This base was originally intended to be reopened in the corrupted Abyss area in coordination with the arrival of the wizards. Countless Predators had sacrificed their lives for this, but it was only a temporary occupation. This was the territory of the Abyss Demons, and it would soon be taken back by them. Every Predator was clearly aware of this.

"We can't leave. There are still more wizards who haven't arrived yet, and those demon hunter wizards need time to organize themselves."

Anna coldly denied it, then waved her magic wand, a silver-white six-pointed star magic circle flashing beneath her feet, assuming a charging stance.

The next moment, as a silver-white crescent shot out across the sky, Anna seemed to use it as a coordinate to teleport, instantly appearing thousands of meters away in the sky, next to several low-level wizards gathered together.

"master!"

The exclamations of surprise and delight immediately calmed the slightly flustered wizards upon seeing Anna, the suddenly appearing level three archmage.

Beneath her black robes, Anna glanced at the group of young wizards: two level-two wizards, seven level-one wizards, several metal robots, and over twenty slave monsters. The abyssal monsters approaching from afar were launching a massive attack on the Predators' defenses, and it seemed they wouldn't be able to hold out for much longer.

After a quick glance, I noticed that the wizards who had landed on the square included a small group of dark wizards who had already infiltrated the darkness, and about three hundred light wizards who were still in the initial stages of understanding their surroundings.

Large numbers of wizards were still descending from the sky. Although only a small portion came in this direction, those who dared to descend into the abyss region were undoubtedly elite wizards.

"Immediately organize the demon hunter wizards here. I don't think these Predator warriors can hold out for long. They are just temporary conscripts and cannot form a stronger fighting force. We must organize our own team and leave as soon as the wizards here have finished descending. We will open a new battlefield and actively search for possible abyssal lairs."

As Anna spoke, she silently chanted a sorcery incantation, and the magic power within her body was undergoing an astonishing surge. The magic wand in her hand also shone with dazzling light, and the extraordinary pressure immediately drew the attention of the wizards on the surrounding battlefield, who quickly gathered around the transport plane or the landing crater.

"The Mysteries of Light and Shadow, the Dance of Moonlight!"

Hundreds of crescent-shaped rays of light surged forth from her body, spinning rapidly around Anna. Centered on Anna, a hundred-meter radius instantly became an absolute death zone. Even Anna seemed unable to withstand such high-intensity magic for long. Her cold, beautiful eyes, hidden beneath her black wizard robes, turned to look at the bizarre tentacles that had burst from the ground at the airport, and then she swung her magic wand.

Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!

In an instant, crescent moons danced wildly, descending from the sky. Continuous explosions occurred within this abyssal demon pit. The fierce warriors who were fighting to defend the area were blown away by the violent and chaotic energy flow. The surging demonic energy was also neutralized and extinguished under the rampaging light and shadow energy. The large, wildly overflowing black tentacles let out painful cries and retracted one after another.

Anna breathed heavily, panting slightly.

"Be careful, these mutated abyssal monsters are a corrosive underground current. I cannot harm their core, and their regeneration speed will quickly heal their injuries and make a comeback."

After shouting to the Predators near the crater she had created with a diameter of over thirty meters, Anna turned to look at the Abyssal Dragons raging at the edge of the battlefield. With her own strength, she was already struggling to deal with these mature Abyssal Dragons on her own, and even dealing with more than two at the same time was quite difficult. How could she possibly face the real Abyssal Demons?

You should know that even without using Abyss Summoning, Abyss Demons can easily command hundreds or thousands of Abyss Dragons and countless mutated creatures to fight. Their physical strength and various demonic abilities far exceed the limits of ordinary creatures of the same level. Wouldn't my task of hunting Abyss Demons be too much of a stretch?

The battlefield won't give Anna much time to think.

In the distance, as the Predator Guide assigned to Anna and several chimeras galloped over, a mature Abyssal Dragon also set its sights on the small group of wizards around Anna. Its black bone wings, burning with raging demonic flames, spread out, leaving dark shadows on the ground. It seemed that due to the excessively high temperature, the ground in its wake even showed signs of melting slightly. The gusts of wind ignited by its flight close to the ground easily overturned several chariots.

Roar!

A jet-black pillar of abyssal demonic flame surged forth from the sky above the demonic dragon, rapidly melting the ground as the wizards about to be enveloped by the flames scattered and fled.

"what……"

The poor Predator, before it could even make a significant impact on the chaotic battlefield, was burned to ashes along with several chimeras by the dark demonic flames on its way to Anna's side, merging with the softened pavement beneath its feet.
