Wizard's Journey

Chapter 511 The Lord of Dread (Part 1)

"run!"

With a loud shout, Green fled into the distance, trying to distance himself from the King of Dreams.

Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom...

The King of Dreams' third blood-red eye had locked onto Grimm, and its enormous feet stomped on the ground repeatedly, causing the ground to vibrate with a "rumbling" sound, which showed how powerful it was.

After leaping high into the air, the giant, ugly monkey pressed its palm down on Green.

Boom!

Green instantly completed the first level of his Wild Instinct transformation. In the perception of the King of Dreams' third blood-red eye, the terrifying creature from the Nightmare World suddenly increased its speed and escaped his attack.

"snort!"

But then, the King of Dreams' scarlet tongue moved with lightning speed, piercing through Green's chest in an instant, and then skillfully and nimbly coiled around him, binding him.

"Hmph, now you can't escape!"

The King of Dreams' scarlet tongue resembled Grimm's green python thread, possessing a binding and sealing effect. No matter how Grimm struggled, he could not escape the restraint of this scarlet tongue.

Immediately afterwards, Green was tightly gripped in the palm of a large, red, hairy hand.

"I told you, I would bury you beneath my castle until the day the nightmare world is destroyed."

Ten years have passed, yet the anger and hatred in the King of Dreams' eyes have not diminished in the slightest. Although the terrifying creatures of the Nightmare World cannot be completely killed in the Nightmare World, they can form a suppression and imprisonment equivalent to death.

The most common method is this deep-buried suppression.

He struggled desperately, but he couldn't break free from the hairy giant hand. A strange red whirlwind of fur formed around the giant hand, surrounding Green and seemingly trying to envelop him in a large cocoon.

In despair, Green raised his head and looked up at the sky. Suddenly, a gleam of surprise appeared in his two-colored eyes beneath the Mask of Truth.

Whoosh whoosh whoosh...

The three-colored sprites that Green had been waiting for every day appeared in the sky in groups of about several hundred. The King of Dreams also raised his head, and his three blood-red eyes froze.

"Wizard Fairy Tale Elves!"

The tricolor sprites naturally discovered the King of Dreams. The nightmare power emanating from his enormous body, which was over thirty meters tall, was like a torch in the night, so dazzling and bright in the eyes of these sprites.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

Suddenly, these tiny sprites, which were originally only the size of a palm and were holding children's shed teeth, started burning the teeth they were holding. It seemed that the teeth provided them with incredible power. The transparent wings on the backs of the three-colored sprites gradually grew larger, and in the blink of an eye, they all turned into seven or eight meters long.

Each pair of wings of these tricolor sprites resembles the clear eyes of a human child locked in a dream in the wizarding world.

These enormous, clear eyes swooped down from the sky, heading straight for the King of Dreams.

"No!"

Although the Dream King managed to dispel some of the swooping tricolor sprites during its violent attack, even more tricolor sprites slid their wings and crashed into the Dream King's body.

From these wings, Green seemed to sense a pure and blissful power.

The fear of nightmares stems from the instinctive human emotion of believing in invincible, terrifying, and bizarre creatures, which creates a space for these terrifying creatures to live in the nightmare world.

The yearning for the world of fairy tales can only be found in the clear, unpolluted eyes of a child in their early years.

Every day back then was so happy and carefree. I believed that although there were dark, evil, and devilish things in the world, I was protected by the light of fairy tales. With my parents' company and care, I experienced a rich and happy life like the protagonist of the world.

It was because these children believed in the Tooth Fairy Tale that the terror of the nightmare world was somewhat dispelled, which led to the creation of these three-colored fairy tale rules that protect the nightmare world of humankind.

The Dream King was riddled with holes by the fairy tale rules of the three-colored elves. Just moments later, the Dream King's riddled body blurred, completing a rebirth of immortality.

Ok?

This feeling...

Although all creatures in the Nightmare World are immortal and indestructible, that does not mean they are indifferent to fate.

Even the most powerful dreadlords, though they do not die, will dissipate the vast amount of terror power they painstakingly collected to create their dreadlord forms upon death.

Weaker nightmare creatures will be suppressed and bound by stronger nightmare creatures, which is tantamount to death.

Because Grimm possesses the Awakening Lamp and the original will of the Wizarding World, his body is solidified. Although the Dream King's special ability allows him to see Grimm, these tricolor sprites cannot see him, so there was no attack on Grimm.

At this moment, Green clearly felt that the body of the terrifying creature in his nightmare world had unknowingly absorbed a special kind of energy.

This energy seems to be a portion of the power of fear that dissipated after the King of Dreams was attacked, disintegrated, and reborn by the fairy tale rules of the three-colored fairies.

"Ah! How dare you steal my power! How dare you..."

As this power of terror gathered into Green's body, he felt his physique and strength in the nightmare world increasing at an incredible speed, almost instantly, which was completely contrary to the rules and understanding of wizards.

But that makes sense, after all, this is just a virtual world!

The nightmare world is formed because of the rules of dreams, and what determines the strength of creatures in the nightmare world is not their flesh, energy, will, or world rules, but rather the flesh, energy, spirit, or other creatures in the endless world...

Here, fear is the source of power for nightmare creatures.

"Perhaps I've thought of another way to return to the real world, besides finding the Stigmata Wizard of the Judgment Staff!"

A look of surprise flashed in Green's eyes!

Although Green didn't know exactly what the method was, since the Nightmare Mist Fear Demon King wanted to use him to achieve rebirth, didn't that mean he knew a way to bring Green back to the real world?

in case……

If the power of terror that Grimm gathers can make him a new Dreadlord in the Nightmare World, and then he tries to defeat the Nightmare Mist Dreadlord, wouldn't that allow him to obtain his method?

This method may seem a bit far-fetched, but it's worth a try!

Even if Green doesn't succeed, he will at least become stronger, or be able to escape from these demon king servants and have a better chance of finding the Staff of Judgment and the Stigmata Wizard.

In the distance, as the King of Dreams was reborn time and time again, the power of terror dissipated, and the number of the three-colored sprites dwindled. Grimm no longer dared to collect the dissipated power of terror from the King of Dreams and turned to run towards the human city in his memory.

There, protected by the fairy tale rules of the tricolor elves, it can serve as a temporary safe haven for Grimm.
