Wizard's Journey

Chapter 787 Irresistible (Part 5)

Sky City, the Saint-Talbez Mountains, is where the Forging Hammer Wizard Academy is built.

A massive, savage giant, over fifty meters tall, carrying a hundred-meter-long abyssal magic staff, steadily made its way towards the summit of the mountain. After crossing this steep cliff, above lay the renowned Forging Hammer Wizard Academy of the Sky City's Thirty-Nine Districts.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh...

The Guardians of the Forging Hammer Wizard Academy are different from the alien soul slave monsters of the Wizard Continent Academy. They are half-flesh and half-machine creatures designed and created by the Forging Hammer Saint Mark Wizard himself.

The traditional mechanical knowledge of the Wizarding World had already reached its limit during its most glorious period in ancient times. After the War of the Ancients, it was gradually eliminated and has now become a mere appendage to the history of the Wizarding World.

This is the bottleneck in the development of mechanical knowledge across the entire wizarding world, causing stagnation.

Thus, in order to change the status quo, mechanical wizards developed a new field of knowledge that combined traditional gear and lever mechanics with biological flesh and blood.

However, despite the achievements made in the field of biomechanics over the years, it has not changed the fact that mechanical wizards have gradually become subservient to the wizarding world as a whole.

There are many of these mechanical creatures inside the Seven Rings Holy Tower.

"What annoying little things."

The painless attacks on his body were truly irritating to the savage giant. With a wave of his Abyss Magic Staff, Gravity Field and Extreme Cold Attack swept across, and the three flying machines exploded with a "bang," "bang," "bang," and their wreckage fell to the ground. More mechanical puppets nimbly dodged the attacks and circled around the savage giant in the distance, firing beams of light attacks.

These flying machines resemble flies, with their skeletal armor and power units based on lever and gear mechanics. Their composite flesh and skin make them more flexible and give them a certain degree of regeneration and repair capabilities. They spew out a blue decomposition ray from their mouths, with an attack intensity between 250 and 300 degrees.

"Hooray! Young Master, we're here! Xiao Wan, charge! Tear them to pieces!"

The shadowy creature spread its wings and soared across the sky, exuding a terrifying aura. What was an annoying little thing to the savage giant was nothing more than a matter of casually dealing with the Mysterious Thousand-Headed Bird as it glided by.

Thump, thump, thump, thump, thump, thump...

As the mysterious 10,000-headed bird swiftly flew by, its ninety-five heads searched for targets in all directions, tearing and biting. The hurricane whipped up by its wings spread out, and in an instant, more than ten aircraft crashed.

The savage giant Sunchaser glanced at the two- or three-meter-long wreckage of the aircraft and continued toward the mountaintop.

On the distant cliff, several giant cannons with metal bases caught Grin's attention. The cannons were gathering astonishing energy fluctuations, and it seemed that if the savage giant dared to advance any further and enter the range of the cannons, it would be attacked by the combined force of several giant cannons with metal bases.

Green chose to advance forward because of these giant cannons.

"Although the distance is quite far, with the added amplification of repulsive force, it should be able to roughly sketch the outline. The accuracy will depend on the degree of control over the force."

As it tore open a dimensional gap, the savage giant produced a piece of dark metal ore in its hand. It tossed it lightly, and the bone armor collided with the metal ore, producing a "crack" sound. It seemed to be quite heavy. Its eyes peered into the distance.

"With my gradual and complete mastery of power over the years, it shouldn't be a problem anymore... Hah!"

A dark ore, about three meters long, pierced the sky, tracing a high parabola before falling with a deafening roar. The earthquake shook the mountains, and large chunks of rock shattered on the cliff face. Unfortunately, it missed its target by a small margin.

Several guardian wizards flew out of the giant metal cannon in a panic, staring in horror at the savage giant figure in the distance who was taking out another piece of dark metal.

"Hehehe, just a little bit more, it all depends on this time!"

Little Eight looked on with great anticipation. When he saw the Savage Giant make a throwing motion again, he let out a loud shout and the second piece of metal ore streaked through the sky, falling in a perfect parabola.

boom!

This time, the earth trembled, and dazzling flames burst forth. A giant cannon with a metal base was successfully destroyed by Grin, and a black stone landed squarely on top of the giant cannon with a metal base.

"Hooray! We did it!"

Xiao Ba was so excited that he couldn't contain himself, shouting and jumping around on the back of the Mysterious Thousand-Headed Bird.

The savage giant Sunstrider bared its fangs from its massive jaws, chuckling coldly as it produced another piece of raw metal ore and aimed it at another giant cannon with a metal base. Through the Eagle Eye beneath the Truth, Grimm clearly saw the trembling fear on the faces of the arcane wizards controlling the metal cannons…

After about half an hourglass period.

The six giant cannons with metal bases were destroyed one by one by Grin. The Mysterious Thousand-Headed Bird and Grin took to the air and flew recklessly toward the Forging Hammer Wizard Academy at the top of the mountain!

Halfway up the mountain, one after another, huge craters were left behind by the impact of the dark metal ore.

Bang!

A massive figure, over fifty meters tall, strode out, kicking the protective fence of the Forging Hammer Wizard Academy's gate to shatter it. With each step, several mechanical factory buildings collapsed, and the intricately designed factory machines were destroyed by the power emanating from the savage giant, Sunchaser.

"This monster is now trapped in the hyper-vibration magnetic field trap! Kill it!"

The mechanical wizards didn't have large-scale elemental magic restrictions; instead, they had mechanical force field traps, which caught Grimm, who had no relevant knowledge or research, off guard.

One mechanical wizard after another rushed out.

Some activated their mech hearts, some were half human and half mechanical, and some even rushed out in mechanical aircraft.

"Oh?"

This so-called high-frequency resonant magnetic field trap is extremely deadly to lower-level creatures, but to the savage giant Sunchaser, it feels like someone is giving him a constant full-body massage. The savage giant, seeing hundreds of mechanical wizards rushing out, smiled disdainfully.

"Not even a single level three archmage has appeared. With the defensive capabilities of this body, what use are there to have more low-level wizards?"

The greatest strength of a body-refining wizard, or a creature that passively evolves purely through the flesh, is its ability to ignore swarms of attacks from lower-level creatures.

The attack level is insufficient, and it cannot even break through the defense!

With a cold laugh, the Savage Giant Sunstrider swept out with his Extreme Abyss Magic Staff. Under the combined attack of Gravity Field and Extreme Cold, dozens of machines malfunctioned, emitting black smoke. More than ten crashed completely, and the mechanical wizards inside escaped.

Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom...

Conversely, the attacks landed on the savage giant Sunstrider, but they were completely ignored, as if they hadn't hurt him at all.

The magic staff of the 100-meter-deep abyss swept back in the opposite direction once more...

After a while.

The fleeing low-level mechanical wizards flew deeper into the academy, while swarms of academy guardian mechanical flies buzzed around the Savage Giant, slowing its progress. However, they were bombarded and killed by the Mysterious Thousand-Headed Bird and the Savage Giant, continuing their advance towards the Forging Hammer Wizard Tower.

In the distance, the Wizard Tower of Forging Hammer, hundreds of meters high, stands on the earth. The source of magic at the top of the tower is activated, and a phantom image of a giant hammer, hundreds of meters tall, appears.

Several academy deans, thousands of academy arcane wizards, and academy guardians stood ready inside the wizard tower's defensive shield, their faces stiff as they watched the terrifying, savage giant approaching step by step across the land.
