Untamed Passionate Kiss

Chapter 20 An Unexpected Trip

Liang Yutang originally wanted to go to the toilet in bed.

I happened to overhear Bian Yu talking to his mother on the phone, and they discussed some important information.

She couldn't help but stop in her tracks, and Bian Yu's words, "Our feelings aren't mature enough," drifted lightly into her ears.

The girl gripped the doorframe tightly, a sudden pang of unease settling in her heart.

She had seemingly forgotten that she had always approached things with a playful attitude. She and Bian Yu had never intended for anything to happen later.

Bian Yu: "Okay, Mom, let's talk about it later."

After exchanging a few more casual words, he hung up the phone.

When the conversation ended, Bian Yu finally caught a glimpse of a shadow by the door out of the corner of his eye, but he didn't say anything.

Liang Yutang composed herself and walked out, heading straight for the restroom.

Bian Yu glanced at the time on his phone and asked her, "Shall we heat up the food now?"

Liang Yutang slept until evening, but still had no appetite.

She shook her head: "You eat it."

Bian Yu got up and went to the kitchen. Liang Yutang followed him for a moment before entering the bathroom.

The two had ended their cold war, which should have been a happy occasion, but Liang Yutang squatted on the toilet, feeling a tightness in her chest.

But she couldn't lash out because she wasn't entitled to.

This girlfriend's identity was destined to be handed over to someone else sooner or later.

It's even less likely that she will spend the rest of her life with Bian Yu.

It was precisely because she was determined to enjoy herself for as long as possible that she acted so recklessly.

But realizing that Bian Yu didn't seem to have any intention of including her in his plans for the rest of his life, she felt a little uneasy.

There was a microwave in the apartment, and Bian Yu finished his dinner as quickly as possible.

He went into the bedroom and asked Liang Yutang, "Want to watch a movie?"

They have a projector and screen at home, and when they have nothing to do, they often watch a movie and spend a quiet evening together.

Liang Yutang covered her mouth with the blanket, her eyes darting around, and said, "Horror movie."

She needs something exciting to distract her.

Bian Yu walked over, knelt on the bed with one knee, and pulled down the blanket covering her mouth.

"I told you, don't cover your mouth, there might be bacteria on the bedding."

Bian Yu suffers from allergic rhinitis and takes similar health issues very seriously, which is why he makes the same request of Liang Yutang.

However, Liang Yutang never listened and often thought he was making a mountain out of a molehill.

Strangely, today, our Miss Liang has surprisingly lost her will to argue.

As soon as Bian Yu spoke, she obediently tucked the blanket back under her armpit.

His gaze remained fixed on Bian Yu, even as he turned to fiddle with the projector.

Bian Yu likes foreign thrillers, such as "Saw".

But Liang Yutang prefers domestically produced horror films, like those from old Hong Kong movies.

The two played rock-paper-scissors, and Liang Yutang won. She chose a domestic film and then spent most of the time with her eyes covered by a blanket.

Bian Yu said she was both bad at games and loved to play, but Liang Yutang disagreed and used her fingers to force her eyelids open.

Even in the most terrifying places, they wouldn't let go.

Bian Yu saw that her eyes were about to explode, so he took the initiative to pull her hand away and praised, "Alright, you're awesome."

"No, you're awesome."

Liang Yutang retorted quickly: "Our brother can ruin someone's mood with just a few words - that's the work of a master."

After saying that, he wished he could bite off his tongue.

I was determined not to bring up the phone call issue!

But she couldn't help it.

What was that saying?

The only things in the world that you can't help but do are cough and love.

Bian Yu quickly realized what Liang Yutang was saying.

But he didn't reply, only holding the projector remote control, slowly turning it between his fingers, his expression unreadable.

In the agonizing silence, only the film's terrifying music continued.

With a loud bang, Liang Yutang was so frightened that she hunched over.

She seized the opportunity to criticize, saying that this kind of horror film that relies solely on music has no quality whatsoever.

"It's closed! It's closed!"

After yelling, she lay down on the bed in a huff, pulled the blanket up, and pretended to go to sleep.

Bian Yu followed the instructions and turned off the projector, then got up.

Noticing the movement, Liang Yutang turned over and asked him, "Where are you going?"

Bian Yu stood by the bed and said matter-of-factly, "It's a bit early. I can't sleep. Go to the living room and do some coding."

Liang Yutang bit her lip. "Whatever."

He then turned over and pretended to be asleep, but in his heart he was already cursing Bian Yu to pieces.

Bian Yu was about to leave when he remembered something and asked another question.

"Aren't you hungry?"

Liang Yutang did not reply, responding with silence.

Bian Yu shrugged, feeling somewhat embarrassed, and walked out.

The bedroom fell silent. Liang Yutang tossed and turned, unable to fall asleep.

Did he understand or not?

Liang Yutang couldn't help but speculate in her heart.

She had already said that she was upset, but Bian Yu seemed not to hear her, focusing intently on the screen.

Was the movie's sound effects too loud, and he couldn't hear them?

Liang Yutang pondered whether it was necessary to say it again.

She was also afraid that if he heard her, she would make herself look cheap if she kept asking questions.

Liang Yutang sat up, her eyes involuntarily glancing towards the living room.

Bian Yu was indeed writing code, his keyboard clattering loudly, which only made Liang Yutang more annoyed.

Half an hour later.

I'm hungry.

She went outside and started picking a fight.

Bian Yu stared intently at the computer screen. "There's still some egg drop soup and rice in the microwave."

"I don't want to eat this."

Bian Yu finally looked at her, and asked patiently, "What would you like to eat?"

Liang Yutang stood in the center of the living room, unable to answer no matter what.

Bian Yu also watched her, wondering what trick she was going to pull.

Liang Yutang conceded defeat in the silent standoff, "Never mind."

She gave up, turned around and went back to her bedroom, closing the door a little loudly.

Bian Yu took a deep breath and stared blankly at the ticket booking interface that had just opened on his computer.

It's been almost two years since he last went home.

Every school holiday is peak travel season, and he doesn't want to be squeezed into the crowds. Plus, he has too many books to study.

He had planned to go home for the Spring Festival last year, but a small company contacted him through a classmate and asked him to help design a small tool for searching for misspelled words.

The founder of the small company is a local and hopes to have a face-to-face discussion.

He didn't go back in order to make money.

If his mother hadn't called him in the evening, he would have almost forgotten that summer vacation would start in a week.

After thinking for a moment, he got up and went back to his bedroom.

The bedroom door was pushed open, and Liang Yutang pretended to be asleep.

Bian Yu stood at the door and spoke.

Are you asleep?

Liang Yutang was unsure whether she should strike up a conversation.

If we agree to match, it proves she was faking it. If we don't, he finally got in.

Just as she was struggling with this dilemma, Bian Yu seemed certain that she wasn't asleep and asked again.

Do you have any plans lately?

Bian Yu clearly saw through her act, and Liang Yutang could no longer keep up the pretense.

He turned over, looked at Xin Chang's figure at the door, and his tone was not very pleasant.

"If you need anything, I can make arrangements for myself at any time."

Bian Yu: "That means there are no arrangements."

Liang Yutang shut her mouth for a while before reluctantly asking, "You got a perfect score on the reading comprehension section of your college entrance exam, right?"

Bian Yu didn't respond, but just held the bedroom doorknob, seemingly thinking for a moment before speaking.

"How about we go to Nagumo for a visit?"
