Su Weile angrily shouted, "Do you even know how to be a friend? Have you ever seen anyone make friends by lying?"

Tang Shaowu's voice was as pleasant as ever: "I'm sorry I couldn't tell you the truth in time."

Su Weile discovered that she had a condition called "Tang Shao apologizes and she immediately loses her temper".

Su Weile's anger immediately subsided by half. "So, you really were trying to scam me back then?"

Tang Shaowu chuckled softly, a rare genuine smile that even the slow-witted Su Weile could sense was different from his usual demeanor. As for exactly what was different, Su Weile could only tell you with her meager vocabulary, "It's fucking beautiful."

After laughing, Tang Shaowu explained, "I didn't mean to extort you. I just happened to be having an attack at the time."

Su Weile frowned, recalling Tang Shaowu's pained state during that time, and a bad feeling crept into her heart. "What exactly is wrong with you?"

Tang Shaowu said casually, "It's nothing, just low blood sugar, dizziness, tension headache, and vasospasm."

Su Weile frowned even more. "You really have a lot of mental problems. You're the epitome of being mentally ill."

Tang Shaowu laughed and said, "Does talking about me like that make you feel better?"

Su Weile muttered, "I'm still quite angry. No one has ever played me like this before. Tang Shaowu, you're really, really awful. You can't do this again. How are you going to make friends like this? Good friends are supposed to be honest with each other."

Tang Shaowu smiled but didn't say anything.

He glanced at the acupuncture box that Su Weile had casually placed on the coffee table. It was an exquisite box, and the silver needles inside were polished to an exceptionally bright shine. That silver light reflected in Tang Shaowu's deep, ink-black eyes, like a ray of bright moonlight in an abyss.

--------------------------------

Su Weile barely paid any attention to Tang Shaowu all afternoon, spending the rest of the time playing games by himself.

But she still remembered to bring Tang Shaowu his medicine on time, and after he put the medicine in his mouth, she would put water on his lips. This way, Tang Shaowu would have no choice but to drink water.

She would also go over and take away Tang Shaowu's computer whenever she saw him put his hand to his forehead, forcefully stopping him from continuing to work. But she didn't talk to him much.

When Uncle Xu delivered dinner, he vaguely sensed something was off between the two. However, his long-standing principles prevented him from interfering. He simply offered a casual remark, "The chef from Zhuxuan called to ask if you ate much of the lunch today. Was it not to your liking?"

Tang Shaowu didn't speak, but just looked calmly at Su Weile.

Su Weile thought to herself, "Why are you looking at me? At least I ate a rib, while you haven't eaten anything at all."

Seeing that Uncle Xu was still waiting, Su Weile said, "The food is very good, but I didn't have much of an appetite at noon."

Uncle Xu nodded, said nothing more, and left.

The room returned to silence. Su Weile got up to set out dinner, walked to the bedside, and, supporting the wheelchair, said, "Let's go eat."

Tang Shaowu remained in bed, looking at his computer. "I'm not hungry, you eat."

Su Weile sighed angrily and said, "You didn't eat lunch, and you're not hungry at night. Do you really think you're a robot? Go eat now, or I'll get angry and fight you!"

Tang Shaowu looked up at him quietly. "Still angry?"

Su Weile's eyes darted around for a moment before she said, "Otherwise what?"

Tang Shaowu said expressionlessly, "I realized something today: I especially dislike it when you're angry with me. Tell me, how can you not be angry?"

This question stumped Su Weile. She opened her mouth but couldn't utter a complete sentence. "I... um... oh well, I can't think of anything if you suddenly ask me. I'm angry, I'm angry. How can I just stop being angry?"

Tang Shaowu nodded after hearing this, but didn't say anything and continued working.

Su Weile was dumbfounded. She blinked, then laughed in exasperation. "Are you playing the hunger strike game with me?"

Su Weile pushed the wheelchair away, then walked to the table, picked up the food, put in a few dishes that Tang Shaowu usually liked, then came to the bedside, scooped up a spoonful, and put it on Tang Shaowu's lips. The two of them just looked at each other like that.

Then the two of them simultaneously recalled the time when Su Weile fed Tang Shaowu porridge, the story of the three mouthfuls of porridge.

The two of them suddenly burst into laughter at the same time. This laughter seemed to dispel all their previous resentment.

Su Weile placed the food on the bedside table, then picked out a few of her favorite dishes before returning to sit opposite Tang Shaowu. The two of them ate dinner together. She went over to get more food once, and also helped Tang Shaowu get some.

That evening, Tang Shaowu still needed to have two IV drips. Su Weile glanced at the all-English medicine bottles and asked the nurse, "What kind of medicine is this? Why do I have to have these every day?"

The nurse smiled and said, "These are all medications that nourish brain cells. They're tonics, don't worry."

Su Weile muttered, "How clever is this guy? He still wants to nourish his brain cells? I think his brain cells are a bit over-nourished."

The nurse, who was close by, heard everything clearly and laughed incessantly, explaining, "Severe headaches can damage brain cells. That's why these supplements are necessary."

Su Weile frowned and nodded.

After the nurse left, he said to Tang Shaowu, who was lying on the bed, "Did you hear that? Constant headaches will make you stupid. If you don't rest properly and take your medicine, I'll make you stupid every day and get my revenge."

Tang Shaowu, with his eyes closed, said calmly, "You're going back to your beautiful hometown soon, so why are you waiting for me to act stupid and play tricks on me?"

Upon hearing this, Su Weile felt uneasy, as if going back meant she would no longer be Tang Shaowu's friend.

Tang Shaowu then added with a heavy blow, "But you don't need to regret that no one will avenge you. I've offended a lot of people over the years. Once I'm driven crazy by the pain, many people will want to kill me. Consider it revenge for you."

These words caused Su Weile a sharp pain in his heart. He looked at Tang Shaowu, who was standing with his eyes closed, seemingly indifferent. Angered, he walked over and grabbed his acupuncture kit.

While disinfecting the wound with an alcohol swab, he said fiercely, "Does this young master need anyone else to take revenge for me? I will take my own revenge and will never entrust it to anyone else. You think you can take revenge for me? Dream on."

Tang Shaowu looked at the long needle in Su Weile's hand with amusement. "Are you going to do it yourself?"

"Yes, that's right. Although it's said that a gentleman takes his revenge even after ten years, I'm impatient, so I'll vent my anger while it's still fresh."

After saying that, he plunged the long needle into Tang Shaowu's tiger's mouth. Tang Shaowu frowned instantly.

Just moments ago, Su Weile was fierce, but upon seeing Tang Shaowu's furrowed brows, she immediately leaned forward and blew on it, saying...

"What's wrong? Does it hurt?"
