A bizarre and terrifying experience; I messed up the dungeon world.

The wind rushed into my ears. The feeling of weightlessness was intense.

Han Yingying looked down. The red light at the bottom of the abyss was getting closer and closer.

"Ah Jie. Buffer." Han Yingying called out.

A-Jie tapped on the tablet, then threw out a black metal disc. The disc unfolded in mid-air, forming a blue energy net.

Six people crashed into the energy net. The energy net caved in, offsetting the force of their fall.

The net broke. Six people fell to the ground.

The ground was soft, covered with a thick layer of fleshy membrane. Stepping on it caused a slimy substance to ooze out.

It was surrounded by red mechanical eyes.

The light source turned on. The monster's appearance became clear.

They were a pack of mechanical hunting dogs. Their limbs were made of metal skeletons. Human skin was stitched onto their bodies. The skin also had tattoos and hair. Their tails were barbed steel whips.

System notification. [Stitched Hound. Level 45.]

"This is really bad taste." Wang Jianguo got up and brushed the sticky substance off his body. "You didn't even scrape your skin off properly."

The hunting dogs pounced.

Han Yingying, carrying a fine steel longsword, went to meet them.

The longsword struck the hound's metal skull. The blade chipped. The hound's skull did not crack.

Its defenses were very high. Han Yingying took a half step back, avoiding the hunting dog's snapping metal teeth.

She glanced at the sword in her hand. Ordinary weapons were insufficient for high-level dungeons. She needed to find its weakness.

The hound's abdomen has no metal armor; only stitched skin.

Han Yingying dodged to the side. The hunting dog missed its target. She swung her sword backhand, slicing along the seam of the dog's abdomen.

Black engine oil and red blood mixed together and flowed out. The hunting dog collapsed to the ground, convulsing.

Lu Chen gripped a purple butterfly knife. The blade left a purple afterimage in the darkness. He slit the throat of a hunting dog, cutting off the internal wiring.

Wang Jianguo fired. The shotgun hit the hunting dog, only managing to tear the outer layer of skin.

"Hit her in the stomach," Han Yingying said.

Chen Pi, holding the tower shield, knocked over two hunting dogs. Old Li finished them off with a shot.

Combat efficiency improved.

Above the abyss, on a protruding rock, stood four people.

They wore black trench coats, each embroidered with a phoenix rising from the ashes. Nirvana Guild.

The leader is called Venomous Fang. Assassin class. Level 48.

Venomous Fang watched Han Yingying fighting below.

Wu Ying is dead. The guild token signal stopped below.

Poison Fang estimated Han Yingying's combat strength. Wu Ying's agility is extremely high. Being able to kill Wu Ying indicates that Bai Ye's reaction speed exceeds standard data.

Melee combat is not an option, Venomous Fang deduced.

He took out a black sniper rifle, propped it up on the rock, and aimed it at Han Yingying.

"Wait until she finishes killing the monster and relaxes before firing," Venomous Fang said to his three henchmen. "You guys prepare poison gas grenades. Block their escape route."

Han Yingying shook off the machine oil from the sword.

She looked up. Her intuition told her someone was watching her.

"Find cover," Han Yingying said.

Without hesitation, she ran straight to a huge piece of mechanical wreckage nearby.

A bullet struck the spot where Han Yingying had just been standing. The membrane was pierced, revealing the metal floor beneath.

Silenced sniper rifle.

"There are people up there!" Old Li shouted. He then hid behind the wreckage.

Wang Jianguo cursed, "The Second Guild is like a dog. They won't let go."

Venom put away his gun. He missed.

Bai Ye's alertness was ridiculously high, Du Ya thought. Three hundred meters away. The environment was dimly lit. She could actually anticipate his movements.

"Throw the poison gas bombs," Venom ordered.

Three henchmen took out a green sphere, pulled off the tab, and threw it down.

The sphere crashed near the wreckage, emitting thick green smoke. The smoke was corrosive. Upon contact with the fleshy membrane on the ground, it hissed and turned black.

"Put on a gas mask." Han Yingying took the mask out of her backpack and put it on.

A-Jie looked at the tablet. "There are four red dots on it. They're all on the rocks."

"It's too far. I can't reach it," Chen Pi said.

Han Yingying glanced around. The bottom of the abyss was vast. There was a passage ahead. A red light illuminated the entrance to the passage.

"Go into the passage," Han Yingying said.

Lu Chen entered stealth mode and ran into the passage first.

Han Yingying and the others pressed themselves against the wreckage, moving towards the passage.

Venomous Fang watched them through the sniper scope.

"They're trying to escape," Fang said. "Chase them."

The four people climbed down the rope ladder along the edge of the rock.

Enter the passage.

The passageway was wide, with transparent glass tubes on both sides. Blue liquid flowed through the tubes, and human limbs were submerged in the liquid.

"This place is really eerie," Wang Jianguo said, holding a gun as he walked in the middle.

Han Yingying walked at the very front, her long sword held horizontally across her chest.

A fork in the road appears ahead. Three roads.

Lu Chen stood at the fork in the road, waiting for them.

"Which way?" Lu Chen asked.

Han Yingying glanced at the tracks on the ground. There were deep track tracks in the middle of the passage.

"Take the middle road," Han Yingying said. "There's heavy machinery passing by. It should be the main road."

They walked into the central passage.

Venomous Fang and his men chased them to the fork in the road.

Venomous Fang looked at the footprints on the ground.

"Middle," Fang said. "Stay close. Don't trigger any traps."

Han Yingying was walking ahead. She stopped.

There are several small holes in the walls on both sides of the passage.

"Is there an ambush?" Wang Jianguo asked nervously.

"No. It's a mechanism," Han Yingying said. She pointed to a slightly darker metal plate on the ground. "It's a gravity sensor. Stepping on it will trigger something in the hole."

She stepped over the metal plate.

"Get over it," Han Yingying said.

Six people stepped over the metal plate one by one.

Han Yingying stopped in her tracks. She glanced back at the path she had come from.

"Ah Jie, lower the weight sensor on that board," Han Yingying said.

Ah Jie walked over, took out his tools, pried open a corner of the metal plate, and connected the tablet.

"How much should I adjust it to?" A-Jie asked.

"Fifty jin," Han Yingying said.

Ah Jie tapped the screen. "Done."

"Let's go." Han Yingying continued forward.

Five minutes later, Venomous Fang arrived with his men.

Venomous Fang led the way. He was very careful, watching every bump on the ground.

He saw the darker-colored metal plate.

"Go around it," said Fang.

He stepped over it.

The three henchmen behind him followed suit.

The last henchman. He was rather stout. His strides weren't big enough; his toes grazed the edge of the metal plate.

Click.

A slight mechanical sound rang out.

Dense steel needles shot out from the holes on both sides of the wall.

The steel needles were coated with green venom.

The fat man's men couldn't dodge in time and were hit by more than a dozen steel needles.

He screamed in agony and collapsed to the ground. His body rapidly turned black, his health bar emptied, and he vanished in a flash of white light.

The fanged creature lay prone on the ground, dodging the steel needles.

He stared at the spot where the fat man had disappeared, his face grim.

"Bai Ye did something," Venomous Fang gritted his teeth. "She knew we were behind us."

The remaining two henchmen exchanged a glance. Some hesitated.

"Captain, should we continue the pursuit?" one of his men asked.

"Chase her." Venomous Fang stood up. "If we don't kill her, we won't be able to explain ourselves to the guild master."

At the end of the passage stood a massive double iron gate.
