Marvel: Saint Seiya Starting with the Reality Stone
40. Is that you, Mary?
Mike had originally planned to leave today.
After all, he came here to become a constellation saint. Although there were some minor hiccups during the constellation fusion, the final result was good.
He successfully became a constellation saint.
The Bronze Saint of Leo.
and so--
Staying here no longer makes any sense for Mike.
But just as he returned to the hotel and was about to check out and head to the airport, he suddenly remembered something and took out his phone to check it.
It was that one glance that made him stay in Las Vegas to this day.
David Perseus' magic show, originally scheduled to begin last night, the night he merged with the constellation, was postponed to the evening of the following day due to scheduling conflicts.
That is, 8 PM tonight.
Mike told Heidi that he came to Las Vegas specifically to see David Bosh's magic show.
He went home before the magic show even started?
This is not good.
So, although Mike strongly suspected that this postponement was a ploy by the casino that invited David Bos to keep the guests for one more day, he still chose to stay.
There's a saying...
Come here.
Mike figured that since he didn't have anything urgent to do after merging with the constellations, staying here to watch David Bosh's magic show before returning to New York City was a good idea.
So he went there that night.
What?
Mike didn't get a ticket?
But he has the Reality Gem.
Upon entering, after the magic show began, and after the performance ended, Mike returned to the hotel only to find that he had just wasted three of the most precious hours of his life.
Well known.
Saint Seiya's five senses are exceptionally powerful.
Especially for the Bronze Saints who have their own constellation, the power of their constellation enhances their five senses to the extreme.
Even after Mike merged with Leo, he discovered that his previously inexplicable sixth sense was now vaguely becoming a possibility.
But this is not the point.
The key point is that, in the eyes of ordinary people, David Bosh's magic show is indeed exquisite, comparable to that of a magician, and without any flaws.
But in Mike's eyes, David Bosh's magic show was full of flaws.
This made him very upset.
However, once again, the Saint Seiya had reached the pinnacle of control over his five senses, so even though he felt uncomfortable and couldn't bear to watch, Mike watched the entire show with great excitement.
Then, after returning to the hotel, he immediately fell into a sweet dream as soon as he lay down on the bed.
no way.
Mike swore that the fatigue he felt after fighting Malekith and Thor on the Arctic ice cap was nowhere near as intense.
After all, he prefers fighting to performing.
and so--
Mike slept straight through until eight o'clock the next day before opening his eyes. After quickly getting ready, he prepared to go downstairs to the hotel's buffet restaurant for breakfast before taking an afternoon flight back to New York.
The hotel's buffet restaurant is located on the third floor.
When he came out of the elevator, there weren't many people left in the restaurant. After all, at this time, the early risers had already eaten, and the people who hadn't eaten yet were still in bed.
Mike grabbed a sandwich and a cup of unsweetened coffee, then found a seat by the window.
after awhile.
As he leisurely ate his sandwich and looked through the floor-to-ceiling window at a casino across the street, he heard footsteps approaching him.
next second.
Then someone sat down opposite him with a tray in their hand.
Mike turned his gaze from the window to the man sitting opposite him.
into the eye.
The man had a gentle face and a strikingly clean-shaven head. He wore a well-tailored, dark suit.
It's none other than someone else.
It was Phil Coulson.
Coulson looked at Mike, who was casting his gaze, and smiled as he extended his right hand: "Phil, Phil Coulson."
Seeing this, Mike did not refuse and shook hands with Coulson: "Mike, Mike Ametra."
Then Coulson started talking to Mike.
Mike didn't expose him. Although he was very tired after performing for three hours last night, he had to admit that he suddenly discovered he had a real talent for acting.
During the conversation, Coulson mentioned that he had just arrived from Minnesota the day before and was planning to explore Las Vegas and the surrounding area during his vacation. Upon learning that Mike had arrived the day before, he asked Mike what places he thought were worth visiting.
Mike shook his head: "Sorry, I probably can't help with that. I came here specifically to see David Bosh's magic show. The show ended last night, and I'm heading back to New York City today. Maybe you can ask someone else."
Upon hearing this, Coulson did not expose him, as he was already prepared to lead the way out of the Mojave Desert.
Suddenly.
Mike seemed to have thought of something, looked at Coulson, and said with a smile, "By the way, if you're interested in nature, you can visit the Mojave Desert Reserve; the scenery there is quite nice."
Colson seemed to be hearing about this place for the first time.
"The Mojave Desert?"
"Yes, it's about a two-hour drive from here."
Mike said, looking at Coulson, "It's a long journey, but it's worth it, especially at night. When you sit on Kelso Hill, you'll find the starry sky has never been so beautiful."
Coulson, seeing the expression on Mike's face when he mentioned the Mojave Desert, nodded in realization. He even pulled out his notebook and jotted down the keywords "Mojave Desert" and "Kelso Hills." Then, as if suddenly remembering something, he said, "By the way, Mike, didn't you say you came specifically to see David Bosh's magic show? Why the sudden change of heart... Of course, I'm just curious."
Mike shrugged, looking like he had nothing to hide: "I was originally planning to go back yesterday because David Bosh's magic show was scheduled for the night before last, but it was postponed. I had nowhere to go the day before yesterday, so I looked online and went to the Mojave Desert."
Although he suspected that the postponement of David Perseus' magic show by one day was a conspiracy by the casino.
But this postponement is actually a good thing, as it directly filled the gap about why he would go to the desert instead of Las Vegas to see a magic show.
After listening to Mike's explanation, Coulson nodded again with a look of realization.
Is it just another coincidence?
Coulson, who hadn't found any flaws in the conversation, looked at Mike, whose expression and demeanor seemed genuine, and thought to himself.
Just then.
While Skye was communicating with Coulson via headset, sitting in a Chevrolet van outside, she checked David Bos's magic show and said, "David Bos's magic show was indeed originally scheduled for the night before last, but it was changed to last night."
Coulson listened to the voice and prepared to nod subtly.
But just as he was about to nod.
Mike, upon hearing the somewhat familiar voice coming from Coulson's earpiece, raised an eyebrow, recalling the owner of that familiar voice, and looked directly at Coulson, speaking into the earpiece.
"Mary?"
"Mary Sue Popo?"
"Is that you?"
