Border Prisoner: The Mad Boss Seduces Her Every Night

Chapter 109 Xu Yuanjia is captivated by you

Shi Luyu turned her head and saw Xu Yuanjia's expression. A smile still lingered on his lips, but the light in his eyes was chillingly cold.

"You dare give away the things I won for you to someone else?"

Yu Baoying reached out and tapped Shi Luyu's forehead, her tone a mix of anger and amusement: "Silly girl, these are matching couple items. Why are you giving them to me? If I wear a pair with you, won't your crazy husband tear me apart?"

Shi Luyu withdrew her hand, her face turning bright red.

Xu Yuanjia took the bracelet from her hand, put it back on her wrist, and pressed his thumb down on her wrist bone with considerable force.

He lowered his head, his lips brushing against her earlobe, his voice so low only she could hear: "If you dare give yourself to someone else again, I'll fuck you to death tonight."

Shi Luyu's ears turned bright red in an instant. She pulled her hands back, hid them behind her back, and lowered her head, not daring to look at anyone.

Yu Baoying didn't hear what he said. She took Shi Luyu's arm and walked forward, saying, "Come on, Lulu, let's ignore him."

The four people walked deeper into the water park along the walkway.

Yu Baoying held Shi Luyu's arm the whole time, and the two walked ahead, talking with their heads close together.

Yu Baoying asked her what kind of subject she was filming at school recently. Shi Luyu said she was working on a series about the changes in the Chao Phraya River docks. Yu Baoying listened attentively, nodding from time to time, and the two chatted enthusiastically.

Xu Yuanjia walked behind, his hands in his pockets, his face growing increasingly pale.

His gaze lingered on Shi Luyu's hand, which was being held by Yu Baoying, for a long time before shifting away to look at the distant lake.

As Cheng Ye walked beside him, he felt the air temperature around him steadily dropping. He dared not speak and could only follow silently.

Reaching a fork in the road, Yu Baoying stopped, glanced at the road sign, and turned to Xu Yuanjia, saying, "There's a floating market up ahead. Lulu and I will go check it out. You boys can go have some fun on your own. Meet at the riverside restaurant at six o'clock tonight."

Shi Luyu nodded: "Okay, okay, I want to go to the market."

Xu Yuanjia stood there, motionless. His gaze swept across Yu Baoying's face and then returned to Shi Luyu's.

Two words:

"no."

Yu Baoying raised an eyebrow: "Why not?"

Xu Yuanjia didn't look at her, only at Shi Luyu: "I said no."

Shi Luyu sensed something was wrong from his tone. She released Yu Baoying's hand, walked up to him, and looked up at him.

His lower lip was slightly pursed, his eyes were lowered, and his entire face looked as cold as if it were covered in frost.

She reached out and took his finger, gently shaking it. "Brother, the evenings are just the two of us."

"Don't be angry, I'll stay with you." She tiptoed closer to his ear, her voice as low as it could be, "I'll make it up to you."

Xu Yuanjia's eyelashes fluttered slightly.

He looked down at her, his expression softening slightly, but the coldness hadn't completely subsided.

Cheng Ye then stepped forward and patted Xu Yuanjia on the shoulder: "Brother, I understand you."

"Let's go, there's a parkour arena up ahead, wanna go have some fun? We didn't have a woman with us earlier, let's have another race."

He didn't dare let Xu Yuanjia stay any longer. Xu Yuanjia had never been very patient, and the fact that he was still tolerating him was only because Yu Baoying was his friend's wife.

He feared that if the matter continued, Xu Yuanjia would hold a grudge against his wife.

He didn't want to experience firsthand Xu Yuanjia's vengeful ways.

Xu Yuanjia withdrew his fingers from Shi Luyu's palm, put them back in his pocket, and turned and left without saying a word.

Cheng Ye breathed a sigh of relief and quickly followed.

Shi Luyu watched his retreating figure and pursed her lips. Yu Baoying walked over, took her arm, and said in a light tone, "Don't mind him. Men are just spoiled by their possessiveness. Come on, let me show you around."

The floating market stretches along both sides of the river, with wooden boats moored on the water, their bows adorned with fruits, flowers, and handicrafts.

Shi Luyu and Yu Baoying walked slowly along the stone path by the shore. Yu Baoying had sharp eyes. When they passed a stall selling silver jewelry, she stopped, picked up a silver bracelet with Thai patterns, and compared it to Shi Luyu's wrist.

"This looks good and suits your skin tone." Without asking Shi Luyu if she wanted it, she paid directly and slipped the bracelet onto her wrist.

The silver bracelet paired with the couple's bracelet, worn together, looked surprisingly harmonious.

Shi Luyu wanted to say no, but Yu Baoying had already pulled her to the next stall.

That was a stall selling handmade tie-dyed scarves, filled with blue and white fabrics. Yu Baoying pulled one out, held it up to Shi Luyu's shoulder, frowned, then picked up a light purple one, held it up again, and nodded in satisfaction.

"This will go with your misty pink dress, I'll buy it." She paid again, folded the scarf, and stuffed it into Shi Luyu's hand.

"Sister...I..." Before Shi Luyu could even say thank you, she was dragged to the next stall selling essential oils and aromatherapy.

Yu Baoying picked up a bottle of gardenia-scented essential oil, dripped a drop onto the inside of Shi Luyu's wrist, and let her smell it.

"You don't smell much, so this will suit you perfectly, it's subtle." She lowered her head and sniffed Shi Luyu's wrist, then nodded. "Xu Yuanjia will be completely smitten with you."

Shi Luyu blushed slightly.

They shopped for nearly two hours, and Shi Luyu ended up with several bags in her hands—a silver bracelet, a tie-dyed scarf, gardenia essential oil, a straw hat, and a pair of embroidered slippers.

Prices here are not low; every item was picked out by Yu Baoying, and Yu Baoying paid for every single one.

Shi Luyu insisted on paying, but Yu Baoying held her hand back, her tone leaving no room for negotiation: "I have plenty of money, you spend some for me, otherwise what's the point of me earning so much?"

As dusk fell and darkness descended, the lanterns along the street gradually came on.

Yu Baoying glanced at her phone, then took Shi Luyu's arm and walked towards the riverside restaurant: "Let's go find those two men. They must be getting impatient."

There's a shortcut from the market to the restaurant, passing through an old residential area. The alley is narrow, lined with old-fashioned wooden houses with closed doors and windows, and walls covered in vines.

The streetlights were far apart, casting a dim, yellowish light that made the stone pavement on the ground appear patchy, with some areas bright and others dark.

Shi Luyu and Yu Baoying walked side by side, still talking about a dress they had just picked out.

Shi Luyu said, "That dark green one is too mature; I can't pull it off."

Yu Baoying said, "You have fair skin, so dark green looks best on you. Trust my judgment."

Suddenly, Yu Baoying stopped and looked around alertly.

Shi Luyu heard footsteps coming from the depths of the alley.

A large, chaotic, and hurried crowd surged out from around the corner ahead. Shi Luyu slowed her pace, and Yu Baoying shielded her behind her.

More than a dozen men emerged from the shadows and blocked the way. They were wearing T-shirts of various colors and were carrying various items: short sticks, daggers, and one man was holding a long, thin object wrapped in newspaper, the newspaper not fully covering it, revealing a section of a shiny black gun barrel.

The man in the lead had a shaved head and a black python tattooed on his neck, which crawled out of his collar and wrapped around his ear.

He was twirling a switchblade in his hand, the blade reflecting light in the dim lamplight.

His tone was very sticky:

"Hey beautiful ladies, where are you headed so late?"
